Alsamixer GUI exits on using controls like F2 , F4 or F5

Hi,
I am relatively new with linux. I have installed alsa-utils into an arm based platform. After running alsamixer in the target platform I am able to see the GUI on console. However on pressing control keys like F2 ,F4 or F5 it exits. F6, Esc etc. work as expected.
I doubt some dependency packages are not installed properly. Any inputs in this regard will be great.
version being used: AlsaMixer v1.0.24.2

Is this in arch linux?
If so are the arm repos behind the 'normal' ones? Have you done a full update with `pacman -Syu`?
If not arch linux, you're on the wrong forums.

Which control surface do you use, would like to use or have used for audio?

I am shopping control surfaces for mixing audio in Premiere Pro CC. I am buying used so I would sure like to get it right the first time. I am looking for feedback from those who have used a control surface as well as those who have just looked around. I have searched high and low for information from Premiere Pro users but have found very little. Even the Audition folks have not shared much information about experiences with audio control surfaces.
Here are some consoles I've looked at but cannot determine compatibility (due to lack of information):

If you have experience with any of these consoles, or have any to add to the list, specifically with Premiere Pro, please leave a note here. I believe there will be others who will check this discussion looking for the same answers as I. Documentation of these control surfaces is very thin when it coms to discovering if they are MCU or EUCON protocol (or other) - and even if I was able to discern a flavor I still do not know which features will work in Premiere, such as transport controls, faders, plug-in modifiers, et al.
So I guess my goal here is to come up with a list of work/don't work features for each of these control surfaces and more so we can make informed bang for the buck decisions. My budget for a used control surface is $300-400, but I'd be willing to go to $500-600 or more if the features/integration were significantly better.

Mackie Control Universal MCU Pro 8
The MCU Pro uses three different types of MIDI operating protocols (Mackie Control, HUI, and Logic Control). We have not tested the MCU Pro here in Tech Support with Premiere Pro. You will want to contact Adobe directly to see if they support the Mackie Control, HUI or Logic Control protocols with the Premiere Pro software. It is up to the manufacture of the software on how well these MIDI operating protocols are implemented into the software. With contacting Adobe directly you will be able to see what control surfaces are supported with their software.

M-Audio ProjectMix I/O Control Surface
The Project Mix I/O is a discontinued product. However, it should work properly with basically any DAW program. I can't speak to specifically Premiere Pro, but we have a few customers who use that combination and those customers report it works just fine.

Thank you for your email! Yes, you are able to use the BCF2000 to control Adobe Pro CC. YOu will need to program the controller into Mackie Emulation mode. SAP GUI hangs up - tree control

Hi,
I have written an ABAP program to display a report in tree format. This tree(designed using SAPGUI tree control) has close to 75K nodes. When I exit from this application(report), the SAPGUI hangs up. It takes about 25-30 minutes to exit this report program.
Further analysis tells me that it is only the front end process and NOT the runtime of the program. I am using Windows.
I am not sure how much this forum is relevant to this problem. But, any inputs on the reason for a slow performing GUI is appreciated.

There are some known performance issues with older patchlevels, since you neither mention, what GUI version you use and which patchlevel I would just recommend updating to 7.20 and the latest patchlevel and try again.
If that doesn't help the only thing left is to decrease the amount of data being sent to the frontend.

As you said when I using event of Begin its working fine. but while using the event of end, I am specifying date and then matnr (sort) its taking(nodes are created mean first matnr and then date) in the reverse order and when I am taking matnr and date it is placing the events(nodes) in the right order but the order date is not triggering.
can please tell me how to proceed here..

I have created the command node for the main window with 2 rows, in the 1st row i am giving VBELN and in the 2nd row i am giving in item details like item no, matnr etc etc and in the condition its askng Field name and Comparison Value.
How shold i give condition.??????

internal table fields :

i need output like this:

Behavior of customer exit variables (used as prompt) in a workbook

Hi All,
We are on NW2004s. I am using a customer exit variable in the prompt for my query then saved the query as a workbook.
1. When I run the query the customer exit routine/program is called and the selection screen variable is populated with the correct value.
Ex. Calendar year variable is a prompt variable defined as customer exit variable that gets the current year.
when you run the query the prompt for calendar year shows "2007" as default value. this is correct.
2. when I run the workbook using this same query, it looks like it is not executing the customer exit program. The value in the calendar year prompt is whatever the last value used when the workbook was last ran.
I also placed a breakpoint in the customer exit program (EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001) to check if it is being called and it looks like it isn't.
Is there a configuration/property that I should enable/check to make sure that customer exit variables used as prompts works in workbooks? Is this a bug? Anybody else have issues with using customer exit variables as prompts in their workbooks?

ObjectListItem with additional input controls like Switch

Hi there
I have a sap.m.List and use ObjectListItem to display the information for every single item. However, I have the requirement to add input controls like sap.m.Input and sap.m.Switch. As the layout of ObjectListItem works great for me, I don't want to switch to another ListItem type.
Is there a way to do this?
If not, how can this be solved? Is it needed to extend the ObjectListItem? If so, in which way do I have to extend it?
Any ideas would be great!

Usage of Efxclipse Controls like FilterableTreeTable - Best practice?

what is best practice of using efxclipse controls?
currently i have linked the needed jars from the eclipse plugins folder (i.e. efxclipse controls jar) to my project to use features like the FilterableTreeTable. But.. this can not be the best practice. If there is no maven support, there should be another solution, right?!

I tried both but its not working, whats my requirement is in a web template having material, distribution as drop box and I have to create for all countries(Like USA, Canada,China)so what I did , I created a control query as material& distribution and I created variants for countries. After precalculating its not working.

Yes you can use Control Query AND Variant in your Setting. Maybe you did not setup you Web template correctly?

DESKTOP DISAPPEARS using Control-Click

When I Control-Click any item on the desktop (to try and get contextual menu), or any item in any open desktop pane, all the icons on the desktop disappear and reappear a few seconds later - like a desktop relaunch. Maybe I changed some settings but I don't think so. Thought it might be FruitMenu app but have tried uninstalling that to fix this with no success. Have rebuilt the disk using DiskWarrior3.0.3 and have done permissions repairs several times. No success.

Hi, I'm answering my own post here as i couldn;t remove it. But for anyone looking for the answer, i found it, thanks to francine on another post:
I went into "/Users/yourname/Library/Contextual Menu Items" and into "/Library/Contextual Menu Items". I archived the contents of each, dropped the archives onto the desktop (in case I wanted them again) and trashed the copntents of those 2 folders. Restarted and everythign wokred great getting the contextual nmenus up again on Finder items using Control-Click. I then replaced the appropriate archive into the "/Library/Contextual Menu Items", unarchived it (hoping to find the culprit item) and trashed the archive, restarted and again all worked fine again. I then repeated the process with the "/Users/yourname/Library/Contextual Menu Items" folder and again restarted and again everything worked fine! So found no culprits and the contextual menus work as they always did before the problem.

Not possible. CRM online can only be accessed via SAP GUI. Parts of the CRM can be accessed via enterprise portal, if the CRM business package is installed on portal.
