ALSB (OSB) xquery support for fn:error

Hi all,
I've got a function which performs a check and eventually raise a fn:error
In my IDE works fine and stop the transformation reporting the error, in Workshop it doesn't and complete the transformation anyway.
Is there anything to enable? Is it supported? What other options I have?
Thanks in advance

  • No script engine supported for 'JScript' error in OBIEE 11G ibots

    Infrastructure: 64 bit OBIEE 11.1.1.5 on 64 bit Red-Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
We tried using *.java to export the delivery content of an 'Agent' and place it in a shared folder on Windows.
We are able to use the .java file directly in putty and it works fine in creating a folder and copying the file from source to target, but when we put the same script as part of the actions in the 'Agent' properties, its fails with the error "[nQSError: 66023] No script engine supported for 'JScript'". The e-mail is triggered and the attachment is delivered fine.
We tried the same with a *.js file. The error is the same. I found people using *.js scripts and they say it worked for them at Re: How to send the content of an agent (PDF Report) to local machine in 11g
But I am not sure what are the other settings that should be done. The error seems very basic and fundamental and has something to do with java interpreter or something.
Any help if you have implemented the same, would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

That example in the link shows creating an action at the end of 'Agent'. I am not sure if that is what the user meant by 'create an action'. If the user meant to create an 'action', how does and where we call that action at the end of an 'Agent'?
I did try creating an action by updating the 'UserScript.js' file, but the moment i update the file with a custom function, the server doesnot recognise the UserScript.js file anymore and i cannot even use the default functions in UserScript.js file.

  • Sun Support for HotSpot  Errors ??

    Hi,
Would like to know if Sun support package is available for JVM hotspot compiler issues.

Yes, support is available. Start from http://www.sun.com/service/javamultiplatform/index.xml if you want ongoing support, or http://developers.sun.com/services/expertassistance/index.jsp if you think that's more appropriate.

hello my adobe photoshop 12 is not producing contact sheets anymore. it keeps telling me that there is a program error. I have all of the updates and still it will not work. Is there anyone out there who can suggest what to do?

Which operating system are you using?

  • Need a BADI for raising error messages for equi update (IE02)

    Hi,
we are trying to raise few error messages while creating equipments through BADI's (Processing through IE02 and BAPI's).
No BADI's are supporting for raising error messages.
SAP doesnt support processing of userexits through BAPI's (refer note 564467).
we actually need to implement these checks and should available for all the below processes:
    Through IE02
    while doing through BAPI's
While Executing MASS CHANGE functionality (IE05)
Please suggest any other solution to achieve all the three at one go instead of creating some enhancements for every thing.
    thanks.

    Hi,
Try and search for a BADI....for transaction I102...take the package name and go to SE18 and see if BADI's are available...
Alternatively search for key CL_EXITHANDLER or get BADI in the main program of IE02..
if you are using SAP ECC6.0 then implicit or explicit enhancements will be available... Utilize them to meet your requirement...

  • XSLT and XQuery recommendation for BPEL and OSB

    Hi,
    1. Why is XQuery recommeded for OSB and XSLT for BPEL. Are there any specific performance optimization reason behind this.
    2. Apart from OSB and BPEL, both XSLT and XQuery has xml transformation options and creating HTML. What is the difference between these two.
    Thanks in advance!

you can create the graphical view of Xquery in Eclipse but not for XSLT
Xquery is much faster than XSLT in OSB.
Through XSLT however you can achieve more complex transformation.
OSB has its historic origins in BEA Aqalogic stable and so Xquery was widely used used even though XSLT is supported. It is a matter of choice(your standards in your organization, your developer skillsets, your re-usable libraries etc )
In Jdeveloper you can develop xslt in graphical mode though and attain complex transformation

  • Support for WS-AtomicTransaction with OSB

    Hello!
At the moment I'm trying to migrate webservices to be accessible over the OSB. During this process I'm trying to access from the Oracle OSB (11.1.1.7.0) webservices with SOAP and WS-AtomicTransactions. According to "3.8.5.3 Enabling WS-AtomicTransaction" in the document http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e16793/patch_set_installer.htm#BABBCEDH AtomicTransactions are supported starting with Oracle Fusion Middleware Release 11.1.1.3.0.
In the OSB configuration the file policy-accessor-config.xml exists and the entries according to "3.8.5.3 Enabling WS-AtomicTransaction" exists after the installation.
However I was not able to call a webservice with enabled AtomicTransaction successfully from the OSB. I get the error message "transaction context is required to be inflowed".
In the end I'm trying to make two webservice calls from the OSB using the same transaction. This means, if the second call fails, the first call is also rolled back. I haven't found any document describing this scenario using WSAT in the web yet. But I was able to achieve this using the EJB transport.
Is SOAP with WS-AtomicTransactions supported by the Oracle OSB 11.1.1.7.0?
Is there any documentation how to use this feature?
Will SOAP with WS-AtomicTransactions be supported with the OSB 12c?
    Best regards
    Bernhard Mähr

    Hello,
WS-CAF (Web Services Composite Application Framework) is a work in progress, and the transaction protocols have not been completed yet. Oracle will support a protocol for distributed transactions in a coming release, once the industry has a standard in good shape enought to implement.

/usr/ccs/bin/as: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 Compiler Common 6.2 Solaris_9_CBE 2001/04/02Note that the last 2 lines seem to suggest that a Sun assembler is used as the back-end of gcc. I am not sure whether the failure to compile the first file (with __thread) was due to the incompatibility of this Sun assembler. In the first case, the error msg was emitted before these 2 lines are printed.
I further read a post about gcc 3.3.3's inability to compile code that has __thread in it, on a HP-UX 11.11: http://forums12.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1216595175060+28353475&threadId=1148976 The conclusion seems to suggest that "the 2.17 GNU assembler did not support thread local storage" and gcc sees that and thus disallows TLS.
If the assembler is the culprit, then does anyone know whether this "Sun WorkShop 6 update 2" assembler in my installation can work with TLS? And how come a Sun assembler becomes the back-end of gcc? I read that gas (the GNU assembler) is the default backend of gcc. (How) can one specify the assembler to be used for gcc?
As an aside, I am able to compile my file on this same Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using the Sun Studio 12 C Compiler:
    xz@gamera% cc -V -# -D_REENTRANT  -c -o func_stack.o func_stack.c

acomp: Sun C 5.9 SunOS_sparc Patch 124867-01 2007/07/12Interestingly, the output no longer mentions the "/usr/ccs/bin/as: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2" assembler.

Just as another comparison, I compiled a file without __thread on the Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using gcc 4.0.4. Not surprisingly it worked. But I no longer see the mention of the Sun assembler as in the case of gcc 3.4.4. Nor did I see the mention of "GNU assembler" as in the case of gcc 4.0.4/Solaris 10/x86. Instead, I saw something called "iropt" and "cg". Does anyone know what they are?

OK.  If both of you are Windows 7.  Make sure you go to Windows update (START button, type in Windows Update). Check for updates and update whatever that are available. (especially Microsoft .NET Framework 4 )
After that see if you still get this error message.
The last resort would be to unistall and reinstall the whole thing.
    Follow the steps below:
    1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
    2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
    iTunes
    QuickTime
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
    3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

At first i got a problem with my Apple Mobile Device Support, but then after i've done some research browsing the net on how to fix that problem, i've finally found the solution to that problem... However, after I've finish installing and trying to run ITunes, there's a pop up says Error 2 , Apple Application Support is needed to run ITunes.... So i've followed the instruction and suggestions given out which is to extract my iTunes64Setup and install Apple Application Support standalone manually, but during the installation, an error pops out that really really really could give me cancer.... the error goes like this-
""An error occured during the instilation of assembly "Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type+"win32",version="8.0.50727.6195"publicKeyToken="1fc8b3 b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT:0x80070BC9.""
God knows how many times i've reinstalled Itunes, and how many pages i've been thruu just to look for a solution to this problem..... PLEASE HELP ME IM BEGGING YOU TO WHOEVER HAVE ANY IDEA ON HOW TO FIX THIS T^T
Im running on Window 7 ultimate 64-bit btw...
