As some one has see the difference between OS 7 and OS 10 ,in OS7 you can added 6 phone number to same contact in different subtitle like mobile phone 1,mobile phone 2,.....
But in the new OS 10 you can add 4 phone number for the same contact and if you added new field will be the same like mobile phone, in other way one contact can have 2 same subtitle (mobile phone )
this problem I see it when I transfer contact from my old blackberry 9860 to the new Z10 he didn't transferred all number for the same contact because they don't have the same name in the subtitle field.
Also there is difference between blackberry software desktop and blackberry link,in the first when you synchronize with outlook you have an option in the setting to change the name of the subtitle for being identical in outlook (organizer - advanced - field.)but in Blackberry link does not exist and I think in blackberry software desktop is better this options.
I wish some of the blackberry developer take in consideration this issues

I think your best change of getting a response would be by posting in either CRM 2007 forum of CRM - General & Framework forum. Depending on your CRM version. Use general and framework if you use version 5.0 or below.

Had to change Apple ID due to email address no longer valid. Trying to change id for icloud...saw direction online about signing out of icloud and signing back in...when it ask questions about contacts, photos, etc. being deleted how do I answer those? That just sort of freaks me out.

For the ones that give you an option, select the option you want (keep on the Mac or Delete). For the ones that are simply warning you, click on Delete from Mac.
They will all come back when you sign back on, since all you did was change your existing Apple ID to a new email address. It's the same iCloud account, just with a different name.
It's the only way to get your updated ID signed onto iCloud.

ITunes doesn't see smart groups. Also, garbage contacts after sync. Useless

I have an address book on my Mac with about 100 contacts, 5 "dumb" groups, 5 smart groups.
I did the following a couple of times.
1. Removed iPhone contacts by unchecking the box in iTunes.
2. Looked at contacts on iPhone to make sure indeed empty.
3. Opened iTunes again and plugged the phone.
4. iTunes only sees the "dumb" groups - no smart groups.
5. Checked "all contacts" and synced.
There are no smart groups on my phone after the sync.
In addition, it creates many garbage contacts on the phone: contacts with no name and just an email address, contacts with "No name" for name and no other fields, etc.
I do not know if it is related to the OS upgrade because I created smart groups on my Mac Address Book after the iOS upgrade.

It is due to the short fall of engineers with iTunes. Sorry. The only fix is to either make "dumb groups" as copies of your smart groups or do away with your smart groups all together. Both options will still require you to remember what new contacts you have entered into your phone and file appropriately manually in your Address Book. You should also lodge a feedback to the company requesting the Smart Group feature sync with iTunes. Maybe if there are enough of us they will fix this. Yes, I may be a little naive in my hopes, since I can't get any response from Apple electronically. I have to spend 2 hour stints on the phone to get things fixed but still not fully functioning due to the limitations of their programs, etc. I have had NO issues with my past smart phones and sadly bought the dumbest one on the market; iphone 4.

What do I do about contacts and groups not synced from iPhone to iCloud?

I've been syncing my contacts with my Mac (Snow Leopard, not Lion) via iTunes for years now. It's worked well enough, but I don't sync with my Mac that often (typically weeks between syncs), so I've worried a little bit about losing data entered on my iPhone before it gets on my Mac.
Before: Mac <-iTunes contacts sync-> iPhone
A week or so ago I backed up contacts, calendars and my whole iPhone (and my Mac) then upgraded my iPhone to iOS 5. It took a while (hours) but seemed to work.
Then I set up iCloud contact syncing.
What I intended: Mac <-iTunes contacts sync-> iPhone <-iCloud contacts sync-> iCloud
After setting up iCloud contact sync, the trouble began.
I looked at my iPhone contacts and saw that instead of the half dozen groups they were organized into before, they were all in one iCloud group. I found I could make new groups and assign contacts to them on iCloud and they'd sync, but I'm not interested in redoing work organizing hundreds of contacts that iOS and iCloud lost for me.
Shortly I discovered that some contacts were just missing. Poof. Gone after the iCloud sync.
I've hesitated before syncing with my Mac again. I don't want to have the messed up groups and the deleted contacts propogate back to my Mac.
I've also hesitated because I don't see a way to disable iTunes contact syncing before actually plugging in my iPhone — the options for managing what gets synced only seem to appear when the iPhone is connected, and sync starts automatically.
Suggestions for how to proceed?

I found out how to disable automatic syncing:
In the device’s Summary pane, you can set iTunes to automatically sync your device when it’s attached to your computer. To temporarily override this setting, hold down Command and Option (Mac) or Shift and Control (PC) until you see your iPhone appear in the sidebar.
I'm still looking for suggestions about how to proceed to get contacts with groups synced.

hello i have some thing happening when some body call me ,actually all the number registered in my phone with country code also the number where I work, when I receive a local call the number appear but he don't show me the name I should erase the country code for that appear ,before when I'm using torch 9860 I don't have this problem the software is so smart .for example : number saved in my contact in name XAD:00242053013333 (this a local number),when I receive a call from this number the name XAD don't appear only appear 053013333. before with torch 9860 I don't have this problem. please does some body have a solution for this issues or we have to wait for update software. Thank you

Since updating to OS5, my text messages are being sent as e-mails. Also, my contacts do not show the people's phone

Since updating my iPhone 4 to iOS5, it seems my texts are being sent as e-mails or in e-mail form. The person I am texting gets a phone number and not my name. Also, when I click on contacts to text to, where it used to show the phone number and I would touch the number to text, it just shows the persons name, no phone#.

Settings > Messages > Send and Received > Uncheck any number/email that does not belong to the device
Note: The little blue (>) will give you an option to remove the number/email from the device

Been told to restore my iphone 3g but what about contacts, cal and apps?

I am really nervous about this and worried. mynetwork operator has advised I need to restore my iphone using itunes, due to not being able to make calls on my phone.

You should be syncing regularly with your computer, so all of these things should be on your computer. You can simply sync them back to your iphone.

I have tried resetting my photostream several times on three different computers only to get the error message that it can not be reset because of trouble connecting with the servers. It says the same thing on a sync about contact conflicts.

I cannot reset my photo stream. The error message "cannot connect to servers" comes up. I have the same problem with syncing contact conflicts. I have logged in on three different computer & networks on three different occasions. What's the deal?

Do the numbers still exist in your google contacts?
Google recently terminated support for new configurations of gmail using Exchange Active Sync for unpaid accounts. In theory, existing configurations will continue to work, but there have been some problem reports.
I've seen several mentions of the problem you describe in the last few days and so far, they've gone unresolved as far as I can tell. The root cause may be in google's termination of AES support.
Facebook contact sync may also be a suspect.
