Also unable to locate the customize section at all you mentioned and when i clicked on the areas shown in example

my screen and choices don't look idential to what is on the sample shown from the Firefox options 3 bars upper right corner dropdown

Don't you have a bar at the bottom on the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list with the Quit/Exit (Power) button and the Help (? and Customize choices?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Ever Since iCloud and HOmesharing, my playlists are completely empty and also most of my music has an exclamation point next it and when I click "get Info" and "find", it says it can't be found...

    ...I am really upset.  I waited a long time before calling tech support b/c I knew it was going to be a nightmare.  I'm 2 hours into a call with no resolution....
    MOST OF MY MUSIC FILES HAVE AN EXCLAMATION POINT NEXT TO THEM. Many were from 100s of cds I've burned over the years (ever since the first iPod came out), and the rest were iTunes purchases. I can't tell which is which at this point but in my iPhone, on our iPods, on my iPad2, and my iMac....all of my playlists are empty.  I distraught....It's years of building.  Please someone, help me!

    Ok, I had a glitch, forced to restart, and lost my train of thought.
    Reinstalling iTunes should fix the major issue that might have gone wrong, perhaps your explaination points will disappear and everything will be peachy again.
    But if they don't, you can open the XML file in iTunes Folder using a Text edit program to see what the common pathname is to the iTunes Music folder or where your content is located.
    If you moved the itunes folder, it needs to go back.
    I can't  download iTunes to my Vista virtual machine to test it out right now because iTunes is down, so I can't verify the pathname, perhaps your issue and the iTunes being down are related somehow?
    You don't want to import all your music again, but it's a option, but you lose all your playlists, that's what I'm trying to recover.
    If oyu don't have a whole lot of playlists, then simply select all the explaimation point music and delete, select File from the menu and import your itunes folder again.

    Error when opening: "DiscoBrick 1.60. Unable to locate the <> plugin. Repair permissions and retry."

    I also got this error this morning. DiscoBrick is just a visual plug-in for itunes that i don't even use, so i just uninstalled it and that solved my problem.
    Go to     MacHD/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug Ins/      then delete DiscoBrick.
    If you still want it you could try re-installing it again

  • Real time transaction response - unable to locate the root element

    Hi There
    Has anyone integrated webMethods with Data Services 3.2 for real time transactions?
    We are trying to create a real time dataflow, initiated by webMethods.  We are sending the request to the Access Server which runs our
    real time dataflow and does process the request.  However, our return response is null.  No data in the response back to webMethods.  We have
    tested this in soapUI, and our transaction does work.  We get the correct response back.
    So my question is has any experienced this issue with webMethods?  Any suggestions or ideas?
    Here is the error

    The problem was the generated test SOAP message from Netbeans. When built, the interface had more levels than described below. I've also had similar issues caused by bad namespaces - either not defined properly or not picking up the default namespace.

  • Messaging Server 4: WebMail login returns "unable to locate the server"

    When I log into WebMail, the following error occurs:<BR>
    <P>
    Netscape is unable to locate the server <I>hostname</I>.
    Please check the server name and try again.
    <P>
    <B>End User</B>
    <P>
    First verify that you cannot reach the hostname
    server by using the ping
    utility (Windows NT or Unix). If
    you cannot reach the host, report this problem to the appropriate system
    administrator or help desk.
    <P>
    However, if you can reach the host with ping
    , then the problem may be a minor
    networking issue that you can resolve. There is also the possibility that
    the network has been configured to allow users to ping
    unreachable systems. You can use the
    following actions to rule out possible sources of the problem:<BR>
    <P>
    <OL>
    <LI>Attempt to log in to WebMail again. If you can log in successfully, then
    the problem with the WebMail server may have been temporary or is an
    intermittent problem.
    <P>
    <LI>End the current browser session and then restart the browser and try to
    connect to the WebMail server again. If you can log in successfully, then,

    <P>
    <LI>Verify the DNS configuration of your system and then restart the entire

    As the problem with connecting to the WebMail server is caused by configuration

    HTTP network connectivity to the hostname. The following scenarios are
    possible causes of connectivity problems:<BR>
    <P>

    In some cases, it may be necessary to access the hostname that is used in the

    This configuration setting is not mentioned in the Messaging Server

  • On my mac how do I send an attachement from Firefox to a 3rd party? I have been unable to locat the proper icon.

    trying to send from firefox an attachment to a 3rd party and unable to locate the proper icon.

    Firefox doesn't have a built-in emailer, so I'm guessing you are using your provider's webmail site. Each site has different buttons for adding attachments. Do you want to indicate which one you're using to see whether anyone can provide specific comments?
    Also, your browser reported to the forum that you are running Forefox 3.6.13, which is a very old version with numerous publicly disclosed security vulnerabilities. Is that version number correct? (You can compare Help > About Firefox)

    Regards,

    The problem was the generated test SOAP message from Netbeans. When built, the interface had more levels than described below. I've also had similar issues caused by bad namespaces - either not defined properly or not picking up the default namespace.

  • Unable to locate the xml-definition for FieldName with FieldId

    On a site collection of SP2013 on-premise farm, I found there are many similar log occur every minute. The logs are like:
    Unable to locate the xml-definition for FieldName with FieldId '56747800-d36e-4625-abe3-b1bc74a7d5f8', exception: Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: Catastrophic  failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED)) --->  System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException:
    Catastrophic failure  (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED))      at  Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequestInternalClass.GetGlobalContentTypeXml(String  bstrUrl, Int32 type, UInt32 lcid, Object varIdBytes)
    at  Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.GetGlobalContentTypeXml(String  bstrUrl, Int32 type, UInt32 lcid, Object varIdBytes)
    The log level is medium. The same set of log occur every minute with same set of 60 different GUIDs. All related function on the site is working as expected. By using PowerShell to loop thru the site collections I confirmed there is no field using these
    GUID. Also I have checked the content database and configuration database, also no luck to finding these GUIDs.
    These logs should be related with the search service since the Authentication Authorization log mentioned it is the "Crawler" account in action. However I have no idea why the crawler keep looking for these GUID. I have reset the farm service multiple
    times already.
    The farm was upgraded from SP2010 and it seems no such logs before upgrade.
    Any advice? Thank you.

    Hi Mark,
    From your description, this issue ocurred after you upgraded SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Is it right?
    Whether you have some solutions in SharePoint 2010.
    If yes, please make sure you deploy the solution in SharePoint 2013 well after you upgraded to SharePoint 2013.

    I am not able to access the "Settings" on my iPad 3. I just get a gray screen for about 30 seconds and then the app shuts down. I am also unable to access the App store, iTunes, or any app requiring an internet connection. Any thoughts?

    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

  • Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation-Error in Content Player

    Dear Guys,
    when I am playing the content in content player of Authering environment we get the following error "Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation" ,
    Should any API be implemented explicitly?
    How can we resolve this error?
    Regards,
    Shamila.

    Hi Shamila!
    As I mentioned, you need to consult your content developer to debug this issue. In the course content(i.e. flash file) there are references to the SCORM API. These when imported in to AE loose the reference. For instance, if you have something like this .. parent.api.<some scrom function> and the parent (window or frame) has the SCORM API. This reference might be getting broken when the course package is imported in to AE. The content developer need to make changes in the code to ensure the reference to the API is changed.
    Please let me know if you require further guidance on this.

    I am also unable to get the 551L working with Windows 8 Beta 1 and Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion Developer Preview 2. Any Advice?

    It should be noted that I was previously in those Windows Beta's and I am also a member of both Microsoft Technet (Retail Subscription), and all 3 Apple Developer Programs (IOS, Mac and Safari), which is the reason why I am running Microsoft Windows 8 Beta 1 on 2 of my 3 Dell's (the oldest one has Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Microsoft Office 2003 on it, which is the PC that I am using the 551L on), and the Mid Year 2010 Apple Mac Mini has Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion Server Edition on it (something that I am technically am NOT supposed to be talking about here due to my NDA so this will be the last time I mention it here (as you can see I am known for being the type of  Computer Nerd that loves Alpha and Beta Testing)! :-)

    I cannot access Content Library in iMovie - Content Library doesn't show on the iMovie screen and is greyed out when accessed through "windows" tab at the top. Also unable to update the projects/events (a suggested solution for a similar question). I haven't had this issue before, I have always used the content library on the screen but haven't used this for about a month. How can I make the Content Library available?

    Thanks so much! I am backing up the entire computer now with an external hard drive - this should be fine right? And surely if I am backing up the whole computer these projects/videos will be backed up too? I wasn't sure how to do this any other way and I am clearly not great with tech issues. Once this is done and I am sure my projects/videos are safe I will do the delete and reinstall bit. Thanks for taking the time to help

  • Hello! Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 5s to IOS 7.1, I am unable to access the iPhone Keyboard if I access contacts the recent calls tab. I am also unable to access the keyboard if I want to search for a contact as long as I went through the recent calls

    Hello! Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 5s to IOS 7.1, I am unable to access the iPhone Keyboard if I access contacts using the recent calls tab. I am also unable to access the keyboard if I want to search for a contact as long as I went through the recent calls tab. Has anyone a fix for this problem? If you want to try it out, do the following?
    Dial a number from your iPhone Keypad. After cutting the call, try to save the number you just dialled to your contacts by choosing the new contact option. You will see that you will not be able to key in the name of your new contact.

    Works fine for me.
    Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
