Alt. account

In SQ01 query, For BSEG and BKPF combination, if there is no alternative account given for a GL account in the particular company code; system should give us the error, but I am not getting any error.
Please advice.

You cannot use Cluster tables for Queries. You can only use transparent tables.
If you want to know a particular table is Cluster or Transparent, GO to SE11 and give the tabe and say display. On the top the table is described.
In your case I recommend you using SQ01 with Logical database "BRF" where the feilds you are lookig are avialable.

I once had a customer who checked the alternative account number (for a set of comp. codes where an alternative acount number is mandatory) when the account master data was created/changed (guess it was a modification).
So the process was 1: create the alternative account number 2. create the acount number in the comp. code and assign the alternative account number before saving the changes.
The advantage is that there cannot be a posting to account numbers without alternative account assigned in account master data, so people doing the posting stuff (often different from the ones responsible for account master data) are not blocked when a validation message (like discussed above) appears.

Enabling alternate account for specific accounts

Hi all,
Because of a project requirement we are to map two accounts (say A, B) with alternate accounts (say A1,A2,A3 with A and say B1,B2B3 with B). Currently alternate accounts are not used in production. In test environments we enabled alternate account at 'Installation Options' and 'Ledger for a unit' definition. Created alt accounts and mapped with accounts.
On the basis of account alt account combination tax applicable is calculated.
When we edit the journal in GL now, it gives error "The mapping between Account and AltAcct is invalid." for any journal line containig accounts other than A or B. Is therer any way by which we can avoid this error for journal lines containing accounts A or B. Or to validate the journal.
Otherwise if we have say 700 accounts in all in production, then creating alternate account for each account and mapping and analyzing the impact of the same gets beyond the scope of the project. Please help or suggest with any ideas.

~URGENT~ Hacked Skype Account ~URHENT~

Hello, I am Micheal (poppopsea) on Mar 28, my account password was changed as seen here: http://prntscr.com/6xgzvf , I been trying to get the account back since. I have filled out the password recovery form about 20 times and each time I get an email for my ALT account "[Removed for privacy]" I am just about to lose my **bleep** Skype. I believe the same person/people who did this have just hacked my paypal and made payments on it to a fake email under my name. I contacted paypal support who proceeded to screw me over by saying there was no evidence considering the I.P. was private and the email the funds were trandfered to was under my name. These people have royally screwed me. They have stolen my skype, $756.57 from my paypal. And now you people are refusing to give me support. Support says they cant go off I.P. logs even though that should be proof enough that the password change was not me. I have contacted email support, live chat support, and neither have been able to help me. This is my last resort. If I cannot get my skype back I will take legal action, seeing as nothing was done towards a malicious attack. These people have completely **bleep**ed me over. I am sick of nothing being done about this. Help me out please. And I swear if I have to fill out that **bleep** password recovery forum one more time, I am going to go off.

Sorry guys, I know it can be a bit unpleasant to fill out forms especially when time is of the essence in matters such as these. I can assure you that the Customner Support team which handles compromised accounts can help but are unable to without first getting all the information they need to proceed.
The compromised account form is a bit different in that it would let the staff know there's an urgent issue and to lock the account at which point they would look into the account history and go from there. Before any of that can occur, they need to verify that the person filing the claim is the actual account holder and that the claim is an authentic one. If there's already a claim in progress, odds are they are already looking into things and is the best that can be done.
I'm sorry for the delay as sometimes it takes time to process these things.

Multiple Chart of Accounts for one holding company.

I recently encountered a scenario where a Holding Company will have several companies under 5 different sectors under it. If we call the holding company 'ABC', all the other companies under the ABC company will be segregated to 6 main sectors which spread across, leisure, Retails, Sales, Healthcare, etc.
If I was to implement Hyperion Planning for the above scenario, what would be the best approach?
What I think would be feasible is to;
Create 5 Chart of Accounts for the 5 different sectors under which the companies would be allocated to, and map all these 5 Chart of Accounts to a Chart of Accounts of the holding company (ABC Company) using Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management and the Hyperion Data Quality Management Adapter.
Would you agree this to be correct?
Appreciate your thoughts and any experience anyone may have with such an implementation.

     Do what ruju posted,except:-
      Assign alternate chart of accounts to your company code.
      This has to be the last step since you are doing it retroactivly(because of b) ). Once the assignment is made:-
                  a) Assignment   Account to Alt.Account   has to be 1:1
                  b) The alt.account can not be changed/entered once the account has been posted to.
Once you are productive,depending on your system design either make the alt.Account a required field or create a validation to give the same effect.This is to avoid the situation where you are constantly unassigning/assigning the country COA because the entry was forgotten.

How do I set one monitor calibration for the whole system and users?

I'm really angry because when I logged into my first default account, My settings where normal, but I logged into my alt account, the settings where all messed up (NO ONE TOUCHED MY COMPUTER, AND THE ACCOUNT HAS A STRONG PASSWORD) The white balance was that slightly blue one. So, I changed it, and logged in to the alt account again to see it was okay. I want to my main account and used screenlock, and noticed on the login screen (I logged out of the account after I saw to see this same thing) it was the light bluer white balance. So I logged in and calibrated AGAIN and it finally when back to the default on the login screen (2:2 or something and native white balance) and my preferences for my accounts (television gamma, and native white balance) I just want it system wide to be:
-2:2 TELEVISION GAMMA
-Native White Gamma
Or at-least the login screen, and my two accounts, and that settings to be the system wide default.

First off, if you want help, act like an adult. We're all just other users you're talking to, not Apple employees. Such angry behavior will only ensure that no one will respond to any questions by you in the future.
Second, there's nothing wrong with Kappy's advice. The /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/ folder is accessible by all user accounts. So putting one common monitor profile there and setting it in each account is what you want to do.
What you're seeing is a known issue when switching users without restarting. I don't know if there's ever been a true solution for it.

I cant log into my apple id.

it wont let me log in. im using my alt account. i can log in using my game center, but i cant log into my appstore, apple id, etc. this accounts disabled for some reason. but anyway, it gives me a wrong password error even though its the right password. I have two iCloud accts each to manage different data

The reasoning is now in my alt iCloud account I can have my Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders without my wife and kids stuff merging with mine. Anyway - it seems to be working fine but am wondering if when my phone backs up are both accts backing up, my iCloud and alt iCloud. Having these separate accts is life saving. I guess I'm still having trouble understanding all of iCloud.

Your primary and secondary ("alt") accounts are treated the same. The data remains on the iCloud server for both accounts, and the local cached copy is included in the backup. Restoring synced data such as calendars and contacts from an iCloud backup can be somewhat difficult and isn't officially supported, but it can be done by following the procedure outlined here (contacts example): Recovering deleted iCloud contacts from an iCloud backup.

Uix:train within a Struts Form v. UIX form

I'm trying to implement the uix:train component within several of my JSP's. All of these JSP's are using Struts forms rather than UIX forms.
Is it possible to use the uix:train tag within a Struts form or must I use a uix:form ?
If I need to use a UIX form, can someone help me understand how to get the tag to actually submit the form to the destination that I am specifying rather than submitting back to itself?
I can get the train tag to work regardless of form type if I don't specify true for the formSubmitted property of the train tag. However, I need to actually submit the form because there are form values other than "goto" and "source" and "id", that I need access to when going to the designated JSP.

"Purchased" songs showing as "Matched"

I currently have 319 purchases that are showing as 'Matched' instead of 'Purchased' - mostly from alt accounts (wife/son) whose accounts are authorized on the PC that iTunes match in enabled on. This does not include the 20 odd purchases that were purchased with the same account but showed old email addresses that just would not update and that did not show as downloadable from iTunes under 'Purchase History' that I just gave up on, burned to CD, and re-imported.
How do we get iTunes Match to recognize the purchases as purchases...this is 319 songs that should not be counting towards my 25k limit!?

Thank you for the clarification...it just seemd if the computer was authorized it wouldn't matter with which account.
Going forward I know to make all purchases through a single account then...one more annoyance to add to my list with iTunes Match.

Alt Chart of Accounts: Change of GL Assignment

Hello Experts,
We have implemented Alternate Chart Of Account (CoA). Balances have been posted. Now during the middle of the Fiscal Year, Government has changed the numbering of few of the local chart of account numbers.
SAP gives error message and does not allow to change the Alt G/L assigned in the master data of the main CoA.
Is there any way out to change the G/L assignments, some SAP program to run or likewise?
We don't want to create new G/L accounts in the corporate CoA in this case and redo the new assignment.
Please let me know if you have come across such a situation.

Try this:
remove the COUNTRY COA assigned
replace Alt G/l ...
Again asssign COUNTRY COA

Contract Account - Alt.billing rec. link with BP relationships

Hi,
in transaction CAA2 (Contract Account Change) i fill the field Alt.billing rec. After saving it, the new alt.billing rec. is added as relationship for the related BP.
Is this done by standard SAP or is it customer-made ? I don't have any documentation to find out.
When the alt.billing rec in CAA2 is deleted, the relationship for the BP is not deleted ???
Any suggestions ?

When the alt.billing rec in CAA2 is deleted, the relationship for the BP is not deleted ??? - The Contract Account is created for a BP. So if you create the relationship in BP, then the alt. billing will get deleted in the CA. But it is not necessary that when you delete the alt. billing, the relationship will get deleted.

Komme nicht mehr auf meine alten Account mit altem E-Mail ([email protected]). Kann zum Rückstellen nicht mehr zugreifen.
Besteht die Möglichkeit diesen Account zurückstellen ohne das zuvor ein Mail an die alte Mailadresse gesendet wird.
