Alt+Scroll do not work since updated to firefox 17.0

Usually I use Alt+mouse scroll to scroll one line in firefox, but since updated to firefox 17.0, it do not work anymore, even in safety mode.

Infinite Scroll is not working since updating to ver. 35.0.1

Since the latest update to version 35.0.1, the infinite scroll (on Yahoo Answers in particular) has not been working. This appears to be an issue with Firefox, because it still works if I use the IE browser. Since some of my other preferred settings were messed with during the auto update (tabs and saved history) I have to wonder if this is an actual bug, or just a setting that got changed during the update. Whatever the reason, it's not a setting I changed, and it's frustrating. Please help.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

My scroll feature of the Lenovo ThinkPad(red scroll) is not working in the new Firefox 4. It was working fine in 3.6. Can you please fix this as this is very important feature.

The scroll feature(middle button) is not working on the new firefox 4. So because of this I need to move the scroll bar to move the page. This is very irritating problem, if you are a guy who uses the middle button to scroll. Can you please fix this..

I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
So glad to get this working again.

Hdmi does not work since updating to jelly bean

Since updating my at305-16 to JB hdmi will not work . I go into settings and select hdmi out but get no signal on tv.

I think it might be a JB driver issue. I was having the same problem connecting it to my LCD, but when I switched to my plasma it works. The LCD is 1080P Auto the plasma is 720P auto. But fropping my LCD to 7120P didn't help. I don;t know if you have two TVs to try on, but it couldn't hurt.

The steps detailed below may help get your TV adapter to function correctly.
Check the compatibility
Make sure the accessory is compatible with your device. If the accessory is on the Apple Online Store, you can see if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch model is listed as compatible.
If your accessory uses the 30-pin connector, you might be able to connect it to your device using the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter or Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m).
See if your accessory's compatibility is limited. For example, some accessories might not charge iOS devices if they use FireWire instead of USB to charge.
Disconnect and inspect the accessory, then restart your device
Disconnect the accessory and turn it off, if possible.
Inspect the connection between the accessory and device and make sure that no debris or other damage is present.
Restart your iOS device by turning it off, then back on. When the Home screen appears, reconnect the accessory.
Try a different device
Make sure the issue is with the accessory, if possible. Always use an identical or similar, compatible device with the accessory you're troubleshooting.
If there's static coming from the left audio channel when you use headphones, try connecting the headphones to a similar device.
If the device isn't syncing when connected to the dock, connect it directly to the computer using the Apple 30-pin to USB Cable or try another USB port.
If you're using Lightning to 30-pin Adapter in a connection chain, try using the same adapter on a similar or identical device.
Restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Restore your iOS device. You should rarely need to use this step with an accessory issue. If the issue only affects a third-party accessory, contact the manufacturer before restoring the device.

Photoshop not working since updated Aperture software

I have been using photoshop CS5 within Aperture for over a year now.
Unfortunately Photoshop has stopped working properly since I updated the Aperture software to the latest version.
I am trying to do some selective colouring but the brush tool is not working.

If it is the Photoshop program not working, then resetting the preferences would be the first thing to try if you have already checked any tool options and layer settings that may be creating a problem.
Pressing the 'Option + Command + Shift' keys immediately after launching Photoshop will invoke the reset dialog before Photoshop loads it's UI. Use the options to reset as needed. Here is a link to the help file for more info:

Are you referring to Photoshop here or Aperture (both have brush capabilities)?

Wi-Fi Not working since update 2.3.5

Since updating Android OS to version 2.3.5 I have not had any function in my wi-fi radio. System attempts to scan and never recognizes ANY wifi networks.
Tried entering/ managing setup manually, but network is listed "Out of Range" even when network is confirmed up by many other devices.
Any ideas, patches or advice?

The obvious painful advice is: Try a hard-reset. If that doesn't do it, it might be time to call VZW support and get a replacement.
When you installed the update did it appear to install correctly, no error messages or anything?

ITunes not working since update, says I don't have insufficient privileges to access directory

Ever since the iTunes update it has not worked at all for me. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but it will not let me. I always get this pop up "The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files\iTunes. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator". I am logged on as the administrator and I have turned off my antivirus. Somebody please help!

Exchange email not working since update

Help! Before the update, my POP accounts weren't working (wasn't receiving new email unless I turn phone off and back on). Now POP seems to be working, but my corporate Exchange account is totally not working. There is a (new) yellow banner message that appears in email list saying Connecting to Server. And then it seems to get stuck there. It somehow downloaded 1 message (the first one that came in) since the update of my phone this morning. But since, it won't Push any more email.
Also, I think my GPS got worse. When I was outside earlier (granted, I was around tall buildings) it wouldn't get a lock--not even after 5 minutes. WIll have to test further.

But I'm back to normal.
Uninstalled and installed and my nose is back on the grindstone.

You may want to Reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

Phonebook/contacts not working since update

My phonebook/contacts has stopped working, so I can't call or find numbers. All this since the update, everything else seems fine at the moment.

Where is the contacts stored? Do you sync via Gmail or an Exchange account or is it local contacts? After the repair, did you restore any backup were your contacts was stored?

My HP C4600 is not working since updating to 10.10.2

My HP C4600 all in one printer is not correctly aligning, nor can I fix the issue by realigning, since updating to 10.10.2

in addition, my internet now seems to be intolarably slow! Frankly, the new operating system 10 has been a total nightmare from the get go. I keep updating in hopes of getting back to Mac as I knew it, and it just causes more and more issues!!!!!!!

AirDrop not working since update

I Have an iMac, iPad mini, iPad and iPhone 5s. We updated to to the new operating systems 2 weeks ago On all devices. Now airdrop does not work on any device. AirDrop to everyone is enabled, turned on under sittings. I turned it off, restarted, turned it back on and nothing helps. How can I fix this issue. When you click airdrop it opens but never shows another device to drop it to. Please help. Thanks.

if you are one of those people whos router is as it came then likely it have a name (ssid) like Netgear or linksys or the likes
if you live close to thers who have the same router this could mean your appletv is connecting to an unprotected wifi network with the same ssid as your without you realising it
otherwise I would connect it by usb cable to the computer and use itunes to restore the firmware of the appletv

Backspace Key not working since update to 10.5.8

Hi,
I recently updated to 10.5.8 (or which ever update it was where the iDisk icon turned blue) and now my backspace key doesn't seem to be working. I am using a white Apple USB keyboard. The backspace key now functions like the forward delete key and if I want to backspace I have to press Shift + Backspace. This is very frustrating and not something I have had to do before or need to do on my Powerbook.
At first I thought the keyboard was broken, but I am running a Power Mac G4 on a switch cable with the same keyboard and monitor. I have updated the Power Mac to 10.5.8 and the backspace key works fine.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I think you wanted to say Mail 4.6, or is Mail 3.6 right? There's a bug in OS X 10.6.8 that may make Mail stop working after updating to 10.6.8. Apple has got the steps to fix that > http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4424?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
