Salve a tutti ero curioso di sapere se è normale che il mio MacBook Pro inizio 2011 mentre gioco a qualche video games 3D sfiori i 90gradi di temperatura,e se c'è qualche cosa che posso fare per tenere il mac più fresco.....grazie in anticipo

Code changes regarding HiDPI support for high resolution displays have landed in Firefox 22 and later (bug #844604).
You can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps starting from 1.0 to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.
*The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
*Change the default value -1 to 1 to make it work like in previous Firefox versions (100%)
Start with a value of 1 and adjust this value with 0.1 steps or 0.05 for finer adjustments.
*Use values between 1.0 and about 0.5 to reduce elements in size (do NOT go all the way to 0.05!)
*Use values greater than 1.0 to magnify and make elements larger (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).

Alta Temperatura en el CPU

Hola, desde hace dos días mi MPPRO early 2011 ha comenzado a calentar excesivamente, temperaturas arriba de 95 ºC se muestran en Temperature Gauge, los ventiladores se disparan a casi 6,000 rpm; una vez que ha comenzado a calentar la temperatura nunca baja de los 80 ºC, lo cual acorta dástricamente la vida de la batería ya que los ventiladores casi nunca bajan de 4,000 rpm. El problema se da con funciones básicas como navegar con safari, escribir en una hoja de texto de pages, si alguien tiene una solución se los agradecería.

Aún cuando lo comentado por los foristas es correcto, en caso de considerar la implementación de failover environment deben tomar en cuenta la estructura de funcionamiento de licencias de Business One.
El cambio de discos, siempre y cuando permanezcan direccionados a la misma controladora no causaria un cambio al Hardware Key y por tanto la licencia continuar activa y valida.
Sin embargo, si hablamos del caso en el que se cuenta con un segundo servidor, el cambio de nombre/IP causaria un cambio en el Hardware Key.
A los fines de cubrir lo anterior, seria necesario contaran con dos diferentes Service Manager, cada uno con su archivo de licencias y hardware key correspondiente.
Todo lo anterior a simple titulo informativo. Es importante contar con todos los detalles de la implementación para proporcionar una opinion o consejo adecuado a la estructura a ser utilizada.
Esperando lo anterior permita contribuir con la información solicitada.

Mal funcionamiento iPhone 5, alta temperatura y debora la batería con el LTE encendido

Adquirí el iPhone 5 con TELCEL en Guadalajara Jalisco pero desde que empece a usar la red LTE, la batería no me dura ni las 8 horas que debería y se calienta aún sin uso.
Lo he llevado ya en 3 ocasiones a servicio y siempre me dicen que no es nada, reporto las fallas con la conexión a internet (me he quedado sin servicio 24 horas) y sólo me dicen que necesito probar el chip en otro equipo.
Alguien tiene el mismo problema?

Hola... yo creo que puede ser una alta temperatura que hace que la computadora por proteccion se apague, esa serie imac vino con muchos problemas de ventilacion, y mas de una se le moria la tarjeta madre por OVERHEATING, te recomiendo que vueles al servicio tecnico, no la prendas, lo mas posible es que le pongan un ventilador

Ios7 se reinicia en llamadas de larga duración

Hola, me gustaría saber si después de la ultima actualización iOS7 en los iPhone 4S al realizar llamdas de larga duración, se corta la llamda y el iphone se reinicia solo... he visto que el mio lo hace y conozco un caso similar en iphone 4

Al menos a mi no me ha pasado. Solo he utilizado Facetime en llamadas de larga duración, pero aún así incluso con la alta temperatura del terminal, no se ha reiniciado.
Has hecho una instalación limpia de iOS 7?

salve, spiego il mio problema: ho notato che il mio pc portatile hp si spegneva a causa dell'alta temperatura, cosi volevo pulirlo internamente con aria compressa. Ho aperto il portatile e ho notato che le due parti erano legate da due nastri (per cosi dire) connettori e che quindi non mi permettevano di pulire e vedere bene all'interno. quindi ho deciso di richiuderlo e rinunciare alla pulizia, solo che provando ad accenderlo non si è piu acceso. è possibile che si sia staccato uno di quei due nastri o quale potrebbe essere la causa?quanto mi potrebbe costare una riparazione nel primo o nel secondo caso?? grazie!

La mancanza di "luce" potrebbe essere fastidioso, ma nulla di male. Potreste essere in grado di sostituire il mini-lampadina LED (se tu sapessi la tensione).

GPU DIODE TEMPERATURA ALTA.....

Salve, è un po' che ho un problema al mio iMac appena accendo ventole a manetta poi dopo 10 minuti schermo nero pero' ho riscontrato con Istat pro una temperatura alta la GPU DIODE arrivato a 116 vorrei sapere cos'è cosa non va al mio iMac da 24" processore intel 2 duo da 2.8 anno 2008... I know this is an old thread - but I came across it while searching for info as to why my precious MBP had the same issue. I believe I may have an answer, so wanted to post.
I noticed that the bug is not related to iStat as every other temp app I have used says the same thing. I also know it's not a sensor problem as I have run the Apple diag disk and a friend of mine who works in an Apple shop took a look and he says there's no problem either.
I downloaded gfxcardstatus as suggested in this thread, and I can see that when using the intel HD card, the temp is ~110c, when using the 330M it's ~50c, but here's the weird thing - when I try to switch to intel when certain apps are running, I get a warning saying that I cannot do this. If you click on the [Why?] button, you are taken to an explanation on the author's site, which says that the discreet card is never really turned off when certain apps are running - ie. 2 cards.... so I believe that the ~110c is a COMBINED reading for both cards which are running together but should not be. It's quite plausible that the intel HD would be running at ~60c, so there's your 110c.

The best option would appear to be to keep it on the discreet card.

PS. For me, the trigger apps are Little Snitch and iStat Menus.

Temperature HP ENVY 17

3 Giorni fa ho acquistato un HP ENVY 17, nuovo di zecca, inscatolato e mai esposto.
Mi sono però accorto che ogni tanto la temperatura del pc è un po' alta. Ho già avuto problemi di questo tipo in passato con un HP Pavillon dv7 (la scheda madre si è letteralmente bruciata) e quindi mi sono allarmato. Controllando le temperature, la media quando il pc è in attivo è di 45-47, per arrivare a 55-60 in attività, con picchi anche fino a 73 (sotto sforzo).
Sono temperature normali, magari effetto anche del caldo ?

How can I correct for 2 different color temperatures in one image?

Hi,
In indoor architectural photography one may encounter mixed color temperatures in one image. If one could use gels and lamps to replace incoming natural daylight and force a uniform color temperature (for instance tungsten) then the problem would go away. Yet, sometimes this is not possible or practical and I was exploring what could be accomplished within Photoshop. Here is my proposal ( or beginning of it):
shoot RAW
generate 2 versions of the image, each corrected for one of the color temperatures present (say WB dropper in "should be neutral" area where daylight dominates and another WB dropper in "should be neutral" area where tungsten dominates)
open them in Photoshop and move one of them as a layer on top of the other version
Try to blend the two layers
in one example, I used Hue blending mode and the photo fixed itself!! However this is not generalizable to other images
I also tried BlendIf for harder images but with no success
I presume selection is then a must which brings up the question:HOW CAN I SELECT DEPENDING ON COLOR TEMPERATURE? I mean, the layer where WB = daylight looks orange-casted in the areas where the main light source is tungsten, while the layer where WB = tungsten looks blue-casted in the areas lit mainly by sunlight. I must believe there should exist a best approach to select say the blue-casted areas or the orange-casted areas, and that approach should be simple if it somehow takes into consideration the predominant cast. I have tried Select Color Range but not very successfully. I just feel there must be a simpler way, taking advantage of the present casts.

If you want to use multiple keepalives for a service, you must use a script. The alternative would be to create 2 content rules, and 2 sets of services, one for port 80 (or whatever) and one for port 443 (or whatever), and use http for one and ssl for the other.

MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR temperature issues

I have concerns with regard to the potential case/temperature rises as summer rapidly approaches. As the above MB has only two fan connectors I am looking at alternative ways to increase the potential connectors
With this in mind I am looking at using Y-splitters on the power cables and then a fan multi-connector cable, but does anybody know if the use of such splitters hugely impares the performance or supply of power.

each of those fans will have a current rating and draw from the +12 volts. If you figure the 12 volts needs to have at least 16 amps to run the system and should have around 18 amps to be safe then subtract the fan current from the 22 amps your supply says it puts out and fan away.

K9N Platinum - Wrong CPU Temperature in BIOS

Hi, I have a K9N Platinum (7250-020) with the latest 1.3 BIOS and an AMD X2 3800+. The CPU Temperature in the BIOS has a negative sign in front of it, and it seems to always report -48*C. I tried the latest nVidia nTune and it was reporting the CPU temperature to be 208*C, which is absolutely impossible...
Does anyone have the same problem? I searched around and it seems I'm not the only one, but I still cannot understand if it affects only some K9N Platinums or all...

I've checked with both and software is a little out from what a multimeter state's. Only check with a multimeter if your happy to do so. http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=137886 offer good advise if using a multimeter .....
The only issue I see is the AUX connector for 3.3v with ATX2.0 spec (Modular cables etc)
