Altering Premier Pro XML code to Allow for FCPX Import

Question

WIth the recent update to Final Cut Pro X, its recent rich compatibility with XML has led me to believe that I might be able to solve the current predicament I'm in with a Premier Pro CS4 project file. My school uses an internet based storage system known as NetStorage at allows me to save any sort of file necessary to what I'm doing in school. In my Video Production class, we use Adobe Premier Pro CS4 to edit our video. I saved my currently unfinished project to NetStorage with the idea of accessing it at home to finish up using Final Cut Pro X. Downloading the file at home gives me all of the coding associated with theh .prproj file in a .txt format. I know that Premier Pro CS4 uses an XML file format, while Final Cut Pro can ingest an XML Interchange file format. Since CS4 cannot export a project as an XML (I believe this feature was added in CS5), what I need to do is edit the coding of the .prpro file (which by the way is a .txt file as said before) so that I can ingest it as an XML Interchange file in FCPX. Can anyone either forward me to helpful information or even provide it here as to what I specifically need to change in this coding to open it in Final Cut Pro X? I hope I have provided enough information on the issue, but if anything further is needed, just ask. Thanks in advance!

The short answer is that it would be a huge amount of work and many things in your Premiere project wouldn't translate across.
The fact that they are XML-based does not mean they can be easily converted. A more detailed explanation is available here:
