Alternate Email Software

Does anyone have recommendations for email software? I use both Mail (Mac default software) and Entourage (version 12.2.4). Both programs have their pluses and minuses. In my opinion there are more minuses for both programs than pluses, which is why i'm looking for an alternative.
I have not yet tried the Mozilla client on the Mac. Anyone use this or have an opinion about it? I did tried using it on a non-mac PC about a year ago. I didn't get too in-depth with it, but I am remembering that it, too, had it's limits and I didn't care for it. I don't know if it works differently on the Mac.
Anyway, I'm looking for all kinds of feedback and suggestions on what all of you have to say. Thanks

Thanks for reading, Kappy and Dave. My apologies for not being clearer about what I was looking for in terms of the software's capabilities.
As I stated in my initial post, I use the most recent version of Microsoft Entourage, and utilize this for my primary accounts. A problem I regularly experience is the software crashing/quitting. I've learned from reading other forums (and the Utopia site - Microsoft's Mac software webpage) that it's a common issue with Entourage users. Other limits include the inability to mask a hyperlink, e.g., I cannot input a link to an email and then edit the text to read something like "click here," or "Apple Website" etc. The only way to edit a link like this and send it through n email is to compose the message in MS Word, then send it via Entourage. It's a minor workaround but forces me to leave the email client and compose a new message in Word. This is a hinderance if I wish to include a link in a response to an existing message or a response.
Entourage also has issues with html and forwarding. If I receive a complex html email and wish to forward the message, the html collapses and turns in to code. I've found that the only way to keep the html intact is to redirect a message; redirecting, most times, is futile because the recipient will not know the message was sent my me.
Apple's Mail software is pretty good for the most part, but it too has small limitations. I'm not entirely satisfied with the spellcheck capabilities. I've tinkered with different settings but it never seems to do the job as well as Entourage. Another limitation, while minor, is the software's inability to auto capitalize the first word or alpha character following end-sentence punctuation. These may sound minor and petty, but they are the primary reasons that Mail is not my primary client.
I spend much of my work day composing email messages. With doing business through email, time management is paramount. The absence of an auto capitalization feature and a properly working spell check are the main reasons I do not use Mail for business; I am forced to proofread messages with eagle-eyed scrutiny before I can click send to ensure that I am sending an clear, error-free communication. That's not to say that I do not proofread messages I send through Entourage. When sending business messages I re-read everything, but I don't have to pay particular attention to capitalization following a period, and I am more comfortable with Entourage's spell checker, which operates akin to Word.
I don't know what each of you are using and what you experience, but in terms of saving myself a little bit of time toward trying many clients, installing several programs that will clutter my OS, and also save money on buying an email client that I might not like, I am asking for information from people using clients other than Mail and Entourage - more or less - and what they can share about their software:
-Which clients they've used, and which do they prefer
-What capabilities/features of the software do you like
-What, if any, are the limitations of your email client software that you would like fixed/improved
-Recommendations, et al.
