Alternative UoM in HU monitor screen

Hi Expert,
I have a problem regarding the Alternative UoM in Handling Unit monitor screen (HUMO).
We use alternative UoM to manage the material in our plant. and all the material is in Handling Unit management. for example, 1bag = 13kg.  when we sale it in bag unit of measure.
we can display  stock with different UoM with transaction LS26. but we can not display the material in UoM "bag" in HUMO transaction.
SO the sale people need to calculate it manually and convert them to bag since we use HU manage it.
Do anyone have the same situation?
Thanks
Rocky

It is not possible to view alternate UOM in HUMO,another option to see th HU stock in location MMBE by giving alternate UOM.
For end user to see the stock alternative UOM then you need to write aABAP query to put some logic to show alternative UOM qty or develop a new report.

  • Alternative to professional broadcast monitors?

So I'm starting up a business - and don't have a lot of money at this stage for equipment. I'd like to get a monitor that is good for color correction - but broadcast monitors are just out of my price range right now.
Since I'm not doing broadcast work, but assuming I will still be editing high quality work that will go to dvd, are there any good alternatives to professional broadcast monitors that can be used for color-correction.
i've noticed most lcd tv monitors on the market suck for editing....what else is there?
And....can anyone tell me why broadcast monitors are so expensive ....what is it about their technology that is truly superior ???
    thanks ....

sure they do, it's the bvm series.
i'm going to take a completely contrarian point of view to everyone's (except steve's) argument and argue in favor of a cheap sony 13 inch wega flat screen tv from best buy.
consumer equipment will reveal flaws faster than the so-called "professional" monitors. i use the term "professional" lightly as any older panasonic crt was a hunk of junk and so are the sony pvm '"n" series of monitors. am i advocating that we all use rca or curtis mathis or zenith tvs? good heavens, no, however, too much is made about the quality of the display around here and not enough stink is made about the quality of measuring tools like scopes being used.
i simply cannot fathom how someone making money will spend many thousands of dollars on a display and then rely on the pathetic software scopes. the only software scope that i would rely upon if i were making money doing this would be the new avid plug-in that videotek (or is it tektronix? i looked just yesterday and can't remember) is now making. i can only hope they build it for fcp as well. but this is just my opinion.
how many of the folks using fcp are currently getting anything on the air? how many are going to a film out or even festival distribution displayed with a projector? now, how many of those folks are reading here and then get pounced upon for not using a "broadcast quality" monitor? how your product is being viewed is how you should look at when color grading but in most instances this is completely impractical and expensive.
my experience with broadcast quality is anything goes. i've shaded my shows to consumer tvs and transmission has never said anything to me. i've shaded my shows to ancient crt's that bounced down the road for the last decade and have never been retubed and need it. i've shaded my shows to the latest and greatest lcd monitors and have left at the end of the day with a splitting headache. the point is, there is no "broadcast monitor" standard (there are however, broadcast transmission standards that in the end, we all have to follow if going on the air) and yes a blue check is nice but there are workarounds and i have to use them. yes, a nice bvm is a joy to work with however i did a show just recently looking at 5 bvm monitors and not one of them looked like the next and i didn't have time to go in and properly calibrate crt bias so i picked the one i liked best and used it.
today i'll do a four camera espn basketball game that goes straight to webcast, ESPN 360. logic dictates that i should shade that show on a computer monitor but i won't be able to, instead i'll use the less than professional crt on this particular "mobile broadcast" truck.
again, these are just my opinions. fire at will.

  • APO SNP Planning Book Show Product View alternative UoM

    Hi,
I have a base UoM of BTL and an alternative UoM of CAS.
I can change/save in my users settings the in transactions /SAPAPO/RRP3 (Product View) and /SAPAPO/SDP94 (Planning Book) to show the alternative UoM CAS as default.
The problem I have is when I enter the Planning Book, load a product, right click on the product (in Selected Objects), select Show Product View and then look at the stock tab, this always shows as the base UoM BTL.  Can this be saved to show the alternative UoM CAS?

    Hi Linda,
Try changing you user settings for a product in RRP3 Screen.
Page Menu --> Settings -->General Tab -->General Panel -->enter AUOM value (CAS in your case).
Note - The conversion only takes place for the products, for which the alternative unit of measure entered is also entered as the alternative unit of measure in the product master, or for the products, for which the base unit of measure has the same dimension as the alternative unit of measure.
Caution: Test it , how its affecting for other products which doesnt have CAS as AUOM.
All products which have BUOM as BTL will be changed to CAS when AUOM is maintained for them in product master.
    Thanks

  • Report for material and alternative UOM

    Hi Guru's
is there ant transaction/standard report where i can see the list of materials and alternative UOM
    Thankyou

    Hi,
No such standard report available in SAP to see for many materials. in MM03 under Additional Data, you can see but material wise.
Better use table MARM to see the same and create an ABAP Query of Report using this table.

I have very thin, colored lines that have shown up on my IMac monitor screen.  I don't know where they came from or how to get rid of them.  I'm concerned now because I started with one and now have three.  Does any know why this occurs or how to get rid of them?

I got an address from Applecare, although I can't place my hand on it right now. I didn't bother persuing the letter route myself as I didn't expect much. I know that the location was Cork, Ireland though as that where the UK Applecare is based as far as I'm aware. The best thing to do is to call Applecare (if it's free) and discuss the issue. State that you are not happy wit the fact that you will have to pay to have the problem resolved especiiay if it is an ongoing problem that has not been resolved. I ended up speaking to a senior manager of the Applecare team who then proceeded to tell me about mailing in my grievence to customer services division or something like that.
If I can find the address I may post it if I'm allowed.
In the case of age, Schools usually have a 5-year life-cycle as they tend to be used differently than consumer machines, i.e. being used constantly on a daily basis for at least 12 hours with no break. you would expect issues to appear after a few years, but I expect problems that arise through defects to be resolved and stay resolved. As I mentioned we had machines for around 2 years before the lines appeared and sent them to be repaired. I'm happy with that. What I am unhappy about is the fact that the problem has reappeared exactly in the same way and now I'm left with around 7 machines that I either pay loads to repair or, the more likely replace the machines with newer ones since the age is now big enough to warrant the replacement.
Sorry for the lengthy moan, but these are the reasons I purchased Apple ahrdware in the first place to avoid the "not our problem" stance some PC vendors  usually take, similar to the Dell monitors thread mentioned in here somewhere.

  • How do I print only the text on the monitor screen?

I would like to be able to print only that portion of a text that is on the monitor screen. How do I do that?
I have an Epson Workforce 325 printer, and an HP desktop computer PC

Please see the following to print only the text portion of the web page. I am assuming you wish to print just the text & not the ads or additional irrelevant items to avoid wasting ink.

When I have video clips on my timeline, they do not play in the monitor screen. I hear the sound track but can not see the image. To test if my new files are somehow the problem, I went back and used video files that I used successfully a year ago, and they no longer play in the monitor window. I hear the sound track, but do not see any video. Have I changed some setting that controls video playback in the monitor window?

    Thanks for the follow up.
Missing in this equation were the version of Premiere Elements that you were using and the computer operating system on which it was running. But...
The deed is done. But.....Until now and after you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what version of Premiere Elements you were using. We still do not know the computer operating system involved.
You just said Premiere Elements 10. Premiere Elements 10 is hit by a serious known display issue if the computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card. In this issue, the only remedy is to roll back the driver version to about May 2013. The description of the problem and how to do the roll back are described in one of the Announcements at the top of this forum. What video card/graphics card does your computer use?
On another front, Adobe will be releasing a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. No one but Adobe knows the feature set for the new version. That type of information is announced at the moment of release of the new version.
So the remedy to the problem that you presented in this thread could have been...
    1. Rolling back the NVIDIA GeForce driver version to about May 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, may not be possible)
    2. Move to another version of Premiere Elements (which you did)
I offer the above for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that Premiere Elements 12/12.1 works for you.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions and ask for clarifications, but remember that the answers are in the details.
    Best wishes,

  • My monitor screen scrolls up and down on its own by it's self? How do I stop it?

How do I fix a monitor screen scrolling up and down on its own?

    Sabrasam,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I want you to try a factory reset on the monitor if you haven’t attempted one already.
    1.       Press the Menu down in the bottom right corner of the monitor.
    2.       Once the on screen display appears toggle down to factory reset.
    3.       Select on that option
You might see your monitor go dark a couple times but that is normal. Test it out after the reset.

  • 2014 Mac mini doesn't scale the entire HP Envy 32 monitor screen

I recently purchased a HP Envy 32 monitor for use with my 2014 Mac mini with the Iris display. I get 2560x1440 resolution at 60 Hz on both the DP (1.2) as well as the HDMI ports (using the auto-detected HP Envy 32 color profile) but the display doesn't scale the entire screen of the monitor. Is anyone else using this configuration successfully? If so, what have you done to make full use of the 32" monitor real-estate? I simply cannot find any options in Display preferences (Yosemite) to change underscan options or for that matter within the monitor itself. Is there a particular display profile or driver I can use to fix this issue?

I'm using a 4K compatible DP cable connected to the Thunderbolt port and getting to the max resolution of the monitor. So I don't think the issue lies there. I was able to use SwitchResX trial mode to discover an underscan option that allowed me to scale to the entire monitor screen. Assuming SwitchResX is manipulating core OSX functions, I'd assume there is some display related configuration within OSX that I should be able to tweak in order to scale the monitor screen natively in OSX without requiring any 3rd party software. Any thoughts for how to go about tweaking the display natively?
    Thanks

  • Ports for Macbook Pro to monitor screen

I just bought a Macbook Pro 2 Ghz i7, 15" laptop and it doesn't seem to have connections(ports) to a separate monitor screen, what can I do?
    Thanks!
    Frank

Your MBP has a Thunderbolt port for external video connections. You can connect an Apple Thunderbolt Display to it with a Thunderbolt cable, or any other display using a mini-Displayport adapter to whatever sort of connection your monitor offers: VGA, DVI or HDMI.

  • Incoming text message doesn't fit monitor screen

All of a sudden my incoming emails are too wide to fit the monitor screen and I have to use the arrows at the bottom to read the right side. How can I correct this? Thanks
    eMac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Have you changed either the font size your e-mail program uses, or is the display resolution not at its maximum in Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Displays? If the latter is the case, increase the resolution, and maximize the window size so more of the text fits.
Conversely, if your friend just purchased a larger display, they might be creating e-mail at a higher resolution, thus ending their sentences at a much later point in their e-mail too, thus causing it to not wrap where it used to.

  • I have an Imac.  When I click to open google maps a permeable but dark screen covers my monitor screen and I get a note that tells me to shut down the computer and restart it.  This hasn't helped.  Everything else seems to work fine.

When I attempt to open google maps in Firefox on my Imac, a dark screens descends over my monitor screen and a note tells me there's been an error, no number is noted, and that I need to turn off and restart my computer.  This doesn't help, but everything else works, including google maps in other browsers.

    This is a kernel panic.
First verify that Firefox is fully updated including all extensions.
    If this fails to fix....
Restart in Safe Boot mode then open Firefox.
    *  shutdown
    *  start the Mac and *wait* for the startup chime to sound
    *  after the sound, press and hold down the shift key
    *  keep holding and *wait* until the grey  Apple logo appears
    *  now release the shift key and just wait (it could take a few minutes)
    *  eventually the login screen appears with the words SAFE BOOT
    *  login and open Firefox.
If you continue to have problems see this article for more options to fix.

  • Mapping an irregular shape to represent monitor screen

    Hi everyone,
I have captured movements inside an irregular shape and need to map it on the monitor's screen. The input space is a 2D shape with 4 boundaries and these boundaries are not straight lines but irregular and nonlinear. The 2nd space is simply a 2D screen i.e. cursor position on the monitor screen. Maybe, I can use some kind of stretching out or stretching down function or perhaps a combination of both to cover the entire screen. I want this irregular quadrilateral to represent the monitor screen. Another difficulty is that the input space can be different each time and is not unique but I will always have the 4 corners and boundary of the input space.
I appreciate your thoughts on this,
    Elnaz

Yeah it seems like what is probably happening is the magnetic fields created by the sensors are interfering with each other, creating the distortion you see. In short, there are some tools available in LabVIEW that can help you do this, but they are only available in separate toolkits (see here). In particular, the IMAQ (Image Acquisition) toolkit has some calibration functions that do what you are trying to do. This page and this page provide some information about using the calibration tools in IMAQ.
If you are trying to do this on your own though, you'll have to use some fairly complex logic. You would have to step through each coordinate data point to eventually develop a transfer function that shifts your coordinates into a rectangle. This forum has some information that may help you develop code for doing this. But the exact algorithm LabVIEW uses for this is proprietary.
Hopefully this will at least give you an idea where to start. Again, probably the easiest thing to do would use a toolkit.
