In the config browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash is set to false, However when restarting FF all sessions can be restored by pressing the button session restore on the home page.

Ever since last week up to 2 weeks ago my browser will just freeze for no reason at all and even freezes my computer to where I have to shut it down! Help!

Ever since last week up to 2 weeks ago my Firefox Browser (26.0 Version) will just stop working and say (Not Responding) like ever 5-10 minutes, even reset the browser and even put it in Safe Mode still the same thing happened and it will freeze my computer to where I have to shut it down. Also I have run my Microsoft Security Essentials anti-virus, malwarebytes, and superantispyware software (not at the same time obviously) still nothing and run C Cleaner, and then if I am watching a movie, listening to music or playing a game in the browser or Spotify it will say plug-in not working and asks me to shut it down, same thing will long scripts and I don't understand this I am at my wits end what do I do? Because this is becoming ridiculous real quick! Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me answer this question!

Why, after clicking that I don't wish to be tracked, am i still receiving tracking cookies and 3rd party cookies from websites? How is 5.0 an improvement if websites don't respect this?

ALL websites that i've visited have still placed tracking cookies, which i then need to individually delete after leaving their site.
They're not respecting that i don't want to be tracked, so what good is checking that box in my options?
Bring back NOT accepting cookies from 3rd parties. I don't need admanager, tacoda, etc cookies on my computer.
Also websites are displaying a js picture that i can't block. I block all pictures that contain people or animals for religious reasons.

Selecting the "do-not-track" setting will only make Firefox send a specific HTTP header (DNT=1) to a web server. 
It is up to the server to do something with that request.

How can I delete a corrupted old sessionstore file (it's affecting my restore session feature)?

On 2/29/12, Windows reported that sessionstore-38.js was corruput and unreadable and requested I run CHKDSK. I run it but this file was not deleted. Also, it has resulted in my Firefox session restores to be "frozen" (same windows and tabs) to back on 2/29 when this bad file situation started on 2/29/12. I've even tried using new sessions but Firefox constantly reverts back to the old set of windows and tabs from 2/29 whenever the session drops. Help me please!!!

Numbers in sessionstore file names can indicate that Firefox had a problem replacing your old session file with a new one.
The quickest way to open your profile folder is
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Open Containing Folder" button
Once the folder is open, you might need to close Firefox before proceeding.

It's likely that the moisture fried some of the internal components of the device. You'll need to take or send your iPod in for service/repair. Apple will do an out of warranty exchange versus actually repairing the device as a third party service would do.

FF 5.0 uses all my CPU's. Can't even run simple news video clips in sync. I just don't like it's look, setup or speed. You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Easy fix... it's a refresh issue. Sign out and back in with changed name.

Google Mail recently implemented additional security measures "for your protection" of course. The manifestation of that may be the requirement to create a unique, "application-specific" password for each one of the various Google services you may use. That requirement probably includes Google Mail. So if the above Apple Support document doesn't resolve the problem, research Google's application-specific password requirements, and how to configure Mail to use it.

Browser.sessionstore.interval set to 15 secs yet never saves session status

Windows XP (although this occurs on Win7 as well), Firefox 36.0.1. With browser.sessionstore.interval set to 15000, and watching the contents of the sessionstore-backups folder in the profile, nothing there was updated in the last 16 hours of FF operation -- since the latest browser restart. I have now restarted it once again (and unsurprisingly the restored session was that from the middle of last night) after bumping up the interval to two minutes, but regardless of its value surely -something- should be written/updated to the recovery.js file periodically?
I will watch the relevant status once more this evening, but the complete lack of changes in that folder seems odd?
Would it be wise to create a new profile on a just-in-case basis (in which case, is there a Q&A somewhere which lists which old values can be copied over to the new file?), or is this a symptom that is known to be fixed in v37.0.1?

I noticed that turning iFrames OFF in about:config > browser.frames.enabled;false seems to not be working as expected. Iframes are still shown and JavaScript in them is executed. Doesnt work even after resterting Firefox.
Testing:
I used this pages to test iFrames:

After I turned browser.frames.enabled OFF and restarted I noticed that iFrames are still shown on all 3 pages and JavaScript in them would be executed.
By blocking IFRAMES with NoScript blocking turned ON (you have to turn forbidding IFRAMES on manually in options http://i.imgur.com/7jctoTW.png) I managed to block IFRAMES on google and w3school pages.
!!!Text in iframe "Test page in iframe" on quirksmode test page was still shown even after I have frames turned OFF in about:config and I block all scripts and frames and iframes with NoScript.
If I open same page (http://www.quirksmode.org/iframetest.html) with Opera with iFrames blocked in Preferences, iFrame is not shown at all, browser doesnt even render empty square; but JavaScript in it is executed, if you dont disable JavaScript in Preferences > Advanced.
I didnt test Chrome at all.
Possible things that can cause bug:
•I am using NoScript 2.6.7, I turned it off and on but it is possible that it is overriding Firefox settings in about:config. when you serach about:config for "frames" there are many settings mentioning frames from NoScript and AdBlockPlus.
•AdBlock Plus 2.3.2? Same reason as NoScript.
•Fot the first time I noticed Shield in the address bar with "Firefox has blocked content that isnt secure" bubble. http://i.imgur.com/K4FL65n.png. P.S. Just small remark. If that is true: "Finally, Firefox 23 removes the option to disable JavaScript from the Options pane — and if you had JavaScript turned off, it has been turned back on." There should be some warning when Firefox is updated that JS was turned ON. I think that for me FF updated silently without any messages. OR maybe I blatantly closed some windows, i dont remember well.

The documentation I find on browser.frames.enabled is very vague, but I can't see that it does anything currently. Is this a feature you used successfully in an earlier version?
The Mixed [Active] Content Blocker was turned on by default in Firefox 23. That would explain the shield icon. Not sure whether implementing that might have changed how iframes are handled.
