    I am using ALV Blocked List consissting of 3 blocks.
    For my requirement, in the 1st block, I need to make a colum clickable, for which I have used the User_Command Event.
    But this is not working. The second list is not gettin displayed.

    Hi Ganesh,
    Thanks for your reply. I have already used hotspot on the fieldcat of the clickable field.  But it seems that except for the hand cursor appearing only on that field, the other columns are also clickable.
    Moreover, only the fiirst block should be clickable but all the blocks are applying the user_command.
    This might be due to the REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_INIT Function Module, which applies to all the blocks.

  • Problem in ALV Block List

    Hi All,
    I am trying to displaying BOM explosion for materials in ALV Block list.
    I am taking the materials to be exploded from a local file. Taking the contents of the file in an internal table and then passing the parameters like material number bom application , alternative BOM to the function 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2'
    Then I am calling the functions for ALV Block display for each material.
      But when I am displaying the data in the block display , only the BOM explosion for the last material is getting displayed.
    I am pasting the code also for ur reference.

    Hi All,
    iam Using ALV BLOCK list to print the output along with check boxes, iam able to print the output along with the check boxes but when i select any of the check box and click button on application tool bar it is going to dump  and saying,
    FIELD SYMBOL HAS NOT YET BEEN ASSIGNED.
    i populated layout with following fields.
      w_layout-box_fieldname = 'BOX'.
      w_layout-box_tabname = 'T_FINAL2'.

  • Printing issue in ALV Block List

    Hello,
    I had created an ALV Block List containing 2 blocks and it has a header also. When I print, each block is printed on separate papers. Moreover before printing a block, a block is printed saying Number of records passed which will also be printed on separate paper. Thus to print a single page I will get 4 page print out in Dotmatrix printer.
    Can anyone say how to avoid printing the Number of Records and also to print both blocks in a single page.

My problem is that when i come back from II to I list, and select any new record, the selected values in internal table passed in I list are not reflected in that table.
    I think this problem is because we are displaying different tables in these 2 lists. When we go to II list, the ALV block list is gettting reinitialized and on coming back, the above problem occurs.

  • ALV Block List Subtotal

    I have an ALV Block List and in the block list there are multiple currencies and amounts. When i use the subtotal button the expected output is to display calculated total amounts for each of the currencies.
    Whats actually happening is that the total is returning an X.
    Please note that i have used the field catalog field of cfieldname for the amount.
    I also noticed that this only happens when using ALV Block List but when the same thing is done in ALV List totals are being calculated by currency as expected.

    I am having the same problem. Does anyone have the answer?

    I want to display ALV blocked list side by side. ie., one list on left side and the other list on right side. Is there any possibility to display this without using split container?
    because it should be displayed without any vertical or horizondal scroll bar, since need to display some other blocks all.
    The report should be as below,
    Block 1
    Block 2   Block 3
    block 4
    block 5
    block 6
    Except Block 2 and Block 3 all blocks are dynamic, so hight and width cannot be determined before hand.

  • Displaying Average of Columns in ALV Blocked List Display

    Hi,
    I am using ALV Blocked List Display. For the 1st block, I need to display the average of certain columns.
    I am using the following code in the field catalog of the RATE column to display the average , but it is not displayed.
    wa_disptab_field-col_pos = 8.
      wa_disptab_field-fieldname = 'RATE''.
      wa_disptab_field-ref_tabname = 'IT_DISPTAB'.
      wa_disptab_field-seltext_m = 'RS PER KL'.
      wa_disptab_field-do_sum  =  'C'.

      append wa_disptab_field to it_disptab_field.
      clear wa_disptab_field.
    For the same column, the sum is displayed with the same code if I change this part:
    wa_disptab_field-do_sum  =  'C'.   To   wa_disptab_field-do_sum  =  'X'.

    And  To find the Average of your requirement, pass the field names as per the requirement.

  • Multiple Hotspots handling in ALV Block List

    Hello All,
    This is my fisrt thread in the SDN though I am wokring in SAP area from past 5 years.
    Some business background of te block list report.
    Mine reprot is completing the flow of SD .
    first block displays the SO items.
    second block displays the Billing Information
    Third Block displays the Shippinng Information.
    Now comes to the problem.
    I have come accross a strange situation in the ALV Block list hotspot handling.
    In the first report the i want to have the hotspot for two columns.
    1. SO Document (VBAK-VBELN) and Materials status(MARA-MSTAE).
    In the User_command problem is
    slis_selfield is not retruning the field name (slis_selfield-fieldname) please can any body tell about this.
    see why I need this information is
    based on the field I want to decide the flow.
    if it is Materialstatus(Mstae) I would like to take him to Mara related information.
    If it is Sales Order Document(vbeln) I would like to take him to SO related information.
    I hope I am clear my requirement.  if not please let me know.
    I am expecting some possible answers for it.

    PS: It is returning the tablename but it doesnt solve the problem bcz both columns(or fields) belongs to the same row. so I really cant distinguish from where i have got the hotspot click.

    Can you debug why the fieldname is not returned? This is strange.

  • Problem while using Alv Block List

    HI All,
    PLZ help me .
    By using this code I select data from TXT file and insert data in CS13 transaction then I want to show each material which present in TXT file as ALV BLOCK DISPLAY.
    Suppose txt file contain 4 material so report will show 4 list block .means data of every material showing in different blocks in the report.
    Code which I am using showing showing data only for last material which present in the table it_matmaster in every block.
    Please guide me what is the problem.

  • ALV BLOCK LIST Dump

    Hello All,
    I'm using the FM REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY.
    I'm getting the Output from the Block List FMs as intended.
    But when I'm performing any action on user-command the program is going for a dump saying :
    Field symbol has not yet been assigned.
    You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
    (data segment 97).
    This error may occur for any of the following reasons:
    - You address a typed field symbol before it is set using ASSIGN
    - You address a field symbol that points to a line in an internal table
      that has been deleted
    - You address a field symbol that had previously been reset using
      UNASSIGN, or that pointed to a local field that no longer exists
    - You address a global function interface parameter, even
      though the relevant function module is not active,
      that is it is not in the list of active calls. You can get the list
      of active calls from the this short dump.
    You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
    in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" C
    "SAPLSALV" or "LSALVF02"
    "USER_COMMAND"
    I checked the FM REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY by passing the INTERFACE_CHECK PARAM as 'X'.
    I get an output saying :
    Invalid value SAPLSALV of the parameter I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM
    Diagnosis
    The I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM parameter contains the ABAP List Viewer program names.
    Possible sources oe error:
    Assigning I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM = SY-REPID in the ABAP List Viewer call interface.
    Procedure
    Assign SY-REPID to an auxiliary variable before calling the ABAP List Viewer and pass it in the call interface parameter I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM.
    But I'm passing the call_back program param to only one FM

    The problem is when the fm REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND is called: here the ALV function assign the data and the header line of every table is transfered (max 19 tables can be displayed at the same list):
