Alv check boxes

Wanna have a check box in my alv.
have a boolean field 'CHECKBOX' in my context.
but how to display the check box in my table now?

Embeded the view in window and embeded the ALV component view in viewUIcontainerelement.and tested,but i am getting the runtime error Data no longer available when SALV_WD_TABLE GET_MODEL called  kindly help me inthe same.

              I like to know how to create a checkbox in the input screen of an ALV.

    What do you mean by ALV check box selection screen?
    ALV and selection screen check box( you are mixing two cases in your Question).
    You need use the Function moduel in the user command to get the updated data.
    in fieldcatalog you have to use INPUT = 'X' and EDIT = 'X' for the columns which ever you want edit.

    if you need just a check box for each line, try to get rid of this line from your layout.
    g_layout-box_fieldname = 'ZZCHECK'.
    SAP uses this field to store info about selected lines. Hence you click on the second check box, you select different line and the first line is erased. You can select more line by holding SHIFT + CTRL

  • Check box in ALV Report

    Hi All,
    I have developed ALV hierarchical report with check boxes for header and item records.
    If i select header checkbox, the corresponding item records checkboxes should be selected automatically, here after selecting header checkbox i have to press some push button(like Refresh) then only item check boxes getting selected,
    but here my req. is without clicking any button item checkboxes should be checked automatically if corresponding header check box is selected.
    If anybody have an idea pls get back to me.

  • How to handle check box click in ALV grid

    Hi Experts,
    I use ALV grid using FM.
    I have list of delivery note items with one custom field as check-box. When I check the checkbox, all other lines related to the same delivery note should be automaticaly checked.
    Is there any event or function code, where I can handle single click to checkbox?

  • How to capture check box click in ALV

    Hi,
    I have requirement in which after displaying the ALV out put, immediately when the check box is checked i need to capture it and proceed with further coding with that input.
    Check box click is not getting captured in "USER COMMAND or LINE SELECTION"

    If you are using cl_gui_alv_grid you need to register "change" event to catch the checkbox change.
    you do so with this method of cl_gui_alv_grid class :

    Hi All,
         I am using an option edit in the feild catalogue which allows me to change the values in a few columns in the ALV list.
    What I want is to be able to show a check box in a few columns which user can check and use the value X in the program for the later processing....
    Can somebody tell me how to show a check box in the ALV screen in the changeable format??
