ALV field display issue
Hello All,
I am working with a program that is using the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and have an issue with the field display when the layout is changed. For example, I have a date field that will appear blank when the program is run initially. However, when the user changes the layout for the grid, the same field will be populated with 00/00/0000. Is there a way to prevent this display issue from occuring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Decimal Value display in ALV Field display
Hi Expert,
I need to dispaly one ALV Field "Routine Work Hour" value up to 2 decimal place in ALV output i.e if value is 2.5 then it should display as 2.50.The field which refers to this is ISMNW and the database table is AFRU.Now if this value is maintained in MINUTE unit, then code converts into HOUR unit and correctly outputs to ALV output up to 2 decimal after i changed the field decimal lenght.But for the value which is mainatined in HOUR unit, it correctlty populated into the final internal table upto 2 decimal and this table data while passing into FM " REUSE_GRID_DISPLAY" it only outputs upto 2 deciamal value for the value which is maintained as MINUTE unit in database table AFRU in ALV output, but for other value(Which are maintained in HOUR unit in table AFRU) it still shows 1 decimal length.But the internal table correctly populates these values up to 2 decimal for all unit of work(MINUTE/HOUR) while passing though this above FM.
Please advise where i need to look into.

Hi,
I am using ALV disaplay FM for displaying data in the form of ALV format. in the O/P one field is not getting data it showing empty column. This field is referrening by new data type it was not there in any database table.

ALV grid display issue from radio buttons
Hello,
I have a radio button group in a selection screen. On select of the first radio button, I display an ALV grid below the radio button group.
On selecting the next one, I want the grid to disappear which isn't happening currently.

How to display field of 250 character length using ALV Grid display
Hello Experts,
Currently I'm using 4.6 version.
I got to insert a new field of length 250 characters into an existing ALV grid display.
I passed a value of length 250 chars into the field and assigned it to the itab passing to the fn module
'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.
But in the ALV display I am able to view only 132 chars only. I increased the line-size of the report also accordingly. But I'm unable to view all the 250 chars.
Kindly help me out in fixing this issue.you just can't do that
I suggest that you put the first characters in cell and allow user to double-click on cell in order to view the full value in a popup window -
Field Length issue in ALV Report
Hi,
I am using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display few fields. Among them I have a field with length 200 characters text.
During ALV report display I am able to see only 128 characters, But when I download it and see the field, the it is showing complete text.
Can anybody help me out?

Issue with length of delivery field displayed in LM06 on RF device
Hello everyone,
I have a challenging issue which I have posted on another forum as well, and was hoping that somebody on SDN may be familiar with this. This issue is being reported by one of our warehouses. SAP RF transaction LM06 is used extensively in this warehouse, and we use a 10 digit delivery number. The delivery field itself in SAP is 20 characters, and we have always displayed 10 on RF. The warehouse is telling me that about a week ago, the number of characters displayed on the RF device for the delivery field in LM06 changed from 10 to 9, and that a leading zero was being inserted when the barcoded delivery number was scanned. There have been no changes to the barcode on the picklist, and I am told there have been no changes to the printer that prints the pick list. A change was deployed a week ago that contained some unrelated configuration and a small code change in a user exit for transfer order creation. Neither of these is in any way related to LM06. Our basis team tells me that there have been no changes to the SAP console server, but I have no way to verify that myself as I am a WM functional consultant. Can anybody tell me if they have seen a problem like this before, or if the field display for a transaction like this is configurable in the SAP console server? The RF hardware being used is the Symbol PDT-8146. Unfortunately, I am 10,000 miles from the warehouse, which puts me at a bit of a disadvantage in trying to diagnose this.Thank you both for the good feedback. I have also gotten some useful feedback from my posting on ittoolbox, and have forwarded all of the responses to a colleague who is located at the site where the warehouse is located. I will provide feedback once my colleague has had a chance to investigate further based upon the suggestions that I have received.

Dump when summing up CURR field in ALV GRID display

I am getting dump when I try to sum the CURR field in my ALV Grid Display. The field is of CURR 23. I am using classes and methods to display alv grid.
I tried passing <fs_fieldcat>-do_sum = 'X'. When I did this, it is dumping without even displaying the alv grid.

in the Fieldcatalog there is an Attribute which will do total & Average .
Enable it so that from one internal table data it self it will do good.
