ALV Grid-- "DOUBLECLICK EVENT" doesnt work with "DATA_CHANGED_FINISHED" ??
Hello at all,
i have an ALV-Grid with 2 different Events.
.....First Event: "Doubleclick"
Second Event: "data_changed_finished"
If i click to a column than it should be trigger the Doubleclick Event.
And if i write some text in the column and "Press" Enter than it should be trigger the Event data_changed_finished.
But the Problem is:
If i click double to any column it will allways trigger the Event datachanged_finished_
But if i replace the Event data_changed_finished with Event data_change, than it will be work.
What can I do to resolve the Problem??
Please give me some ideas, what i can do!!!

I book doesnt work with power cord only
Hello. I was just using my ibook g4 and shut it down. When i tried to turn it back on it worked for about 5 minutes then it shut off. I tried taking out the battery and holding down the power button for 5 seconds among other things. I gave up and borrowed a friends battery, he has the same model as me and that battery doesnt work either. I tried just using the power cord only and that doesnt work either. Do i need to take it in to a professional? I've tried just about everything.

If so this is from the manual:
"The computer runs with battery, but not with the power adapter plugged into

Just to correct GerdW - the vis of a polymorphic vi do not have to have the same output.
Have a look at the vis I attached. I just pass a dbl to a polymorphic vi and get a dbl in one vi and a string in the other.
The real problem is that the vi has to be set to the necessary type. If there are different inputs you just can wire them to the polymorphic vi, but this does not work with the outputs, so you have to set the type.

hi, i have a seagate external hard drive 1.5 TB, i generally use it for my windows laptop. now i bought a mac and it doesnt work with my mac. Am i doing some thing wrong..?
Are you planning on using the drive with Windows? If no, then use Disk Utility in Applications/Utilities to reformat the drive. Formatting erases contents on a drive. Copy the data to another source before formatting.
Format the external drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - Partition Map Scheme: GUID
Select Drive (top name) then click on Erase tab.
Under Format select Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
This should format as GUID when erasing but sometimes you need to click on an Advanced tab and select GUID.
If you do plan on using the drive with Windows machine, format on Windows machine as exFAT. -

Are you using Lion? If so did you download 5.6 airport utility?
Plug the TC into a computer by ethernet.. hold in reset for 10sec.. and then redo the setup.
Give TC and wireless short names and no spaces and no special characters.. lock the wireless to manual a/n-b/g and fix the channels.
Then if it doesn't work most likely faulty. Otherwise it is just setup is wrong. -

these are steps to create a button in ALV and trigger an event from it..
1.Use the parameter i_callback_pf_status_set in the function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY
i_callback_program = gd_repid
i_callback_pf_status_set = 'SET_PF_STATUS'
form set_pf_status using rt_extab type slis_t_extab.
set pf-status 'NEWALVSTATUS'.
endform.
You have to copy the standard ALV pf stauts to 'NEWALVSTATUS' and add your button.
2.You have to do the following to process the new button click.
i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'
form user_command using i_ucomm like sy-ucomm
is_selfield type slis_selfield.
case i_ucomm.
3. to copy the standard pf status to a new one.go to the ALV screen and take the menu System -> Status. Then look for the standard pf status. Copy this to Z range and then add your new button.

with that said, i bought the pack that has both DDL and DTS Interacti've. but while playing music my reciever only gets front left and right channels. No sound comes from the center or rear channels. This is with CMSS 3D on. With analog all 5 speakers work. Before installing this pack, my reciever got PCM input from the optical line. Thus only the front channels working. now with this pack the speaker recognises that the signal is Dolby or DTS yet, only the front channels work. in short there is no difference with this pack.
could someone please explain to me how to get the whole 5. working with Dolby or DTS

the problem was with the reciever. just a change in setting was all it took
but now i have anoter problem
how do i bypass dolby and dts signals from movies to my reciever
before i simply had to set spdif out as default sound device and set ac3filter to spdif passthru
now the driver panel tells me that SPDIFOut will be exclusvely be used by DTS Interactiv. it doesnt pass the signal through from Media player classic or powerdvd.
am i expected to turn off DTS Interacti've or DDL when watching a movie and needing to pass on the signal? -
Issue with ALV Grid and events

I am creating an ALV Grid with fields Matnr,Charg,Labst,Meins. The first three fields are editable and the last (MEINS) is read only.
Now I am trying to fill the MEINS field programmaticly after entering the MATNR and confirm with enter/return.
I think that I have to "overload" the enter event of the alv grid to fill the MEINS everytime when a MATNR was entered. But I don't know how I could implementing this. Could you give me a hint how I could solve this problem?
(The behavior should look like in transaction MIGO)

When you press enter an event is triggerd and function code is filled in sy-ucoom or you can say in ok_code. At that time PAI event occurs. In PAI of that screen you need to check ok_code and load new data in table which you passed to ALV and also refresh the ALV.
data: ok_code like sy-ucomm.

and refresh ALV
then again call
funtion to display ALV

Multiple ALV Grid Controls per report - problem with default displ.variant
Hi,
I have a report with few screens called sequentialy. Each one of the screens has implemented own instance of ALV Grid Control within custom container, means:
- screen 100 has container Cont100 and grid control "grid100",
- screen 110 has container Cont110 and grid control "grid110"
- screen 120 has container Cont120 and grid control "grid120"
and so on...
Each one of the grid controls is initialized with own field catalog table, with own layout and variant structure definitions. My problem occurs when the user changes the display variant for some of the grid controls and save the layout variant using "default setting" checkbox. In this case next time the program is started all other grid controls behaves like they don't have their own variant definitions, but uses the default setting of the mentioned screen. This leads (usualy) to unsuable grid controls by default, because usualy different controls have no equal field-definition tables. I have the same behaviour even when there are more than 1 ALV grids on a single screen (for example - 2).
For now I don't provide variant variables at selection screen, but it seems there is no way to provide such variables for each one of the grid-controls.
Is anyone aware how to control this? Means no matter if there is default setting in use for some of the grid-controls, how to manipulate other grid-controls not to use this default setting?

I have a grid view where I can insert a new line and enter values in 2 of its columns. I wish to update other columns based on the values that the user enters in the 2 columns.
I have tried both of the following but neither gives me exactly what I want :-
i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified. " and
i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_enter.
I want the user to be able to TAB (or mouse) between the 2 columns. After entering a value and TABing away from the column then the other columns in the row should be updated. When the user is finished experimenting with values, he hits ENTER then the 2 columns should cease to be editable (I know how to enable/disable edit on cells).
If I use mc_evt_modified then TABing between the 2 columns updates the other columns nicely. However I cannot distinguish between TAB and ENTER and so cannot switch of EDIT when the user hits ENTER.
If I use mc_evt_enter then the other columns are not updated when I TAB away. This is of course correct, but not what I want. When the user hits ENTER then everything is updated and I could switch of Edit at this point.
It looks like I need a different event to DATA_CHANGED and DATA_CHANGED_FINISH. This event should be invoked when the user hits ENTER even if nothing has changed in the Grid. I have tested DOUBLE_CLICK but it does not work.
So what I really want is for the user to see the results of his changes imeadiately (using the TAB) and then to finish the insert by hitting ENTER. Remember that since the user TABed away to see the updated columns, a subsequent ENTER will not result in a DATA_CHANGED event since the Grid is unchanged.
Perhaps I am designing a bad GUI. When does one normaly switch off EDIT on cells in a newly inserted line.
Petercan't you add a button instead of enter to switch off EDIT ?

Splitter container with alv grid has to be replaced with a dynpro
I have a container which I have splitt in 4 areas, on the right half I have two splitter container with alv grids.
On the left side I have my navigation tree in 2 splitter container.
I don't know if this really works, but is it possible that I call a dynpro in the splitter container (after using my navigation tree) where still my alv grids exist?so it is not able that I can show a dynpro with several text fields?
or can I introduce the textfields in another version to the container?
In se80 I think you have the same, there they call another transactions, is it possible that I call a transaction to the right side of a splitter container? -
Click-to-dial doesnt work with Basic integration
Hi,
I have built a CTI adapter to work with Oracle Basic integration. I can do all the functions through UWQ using this adapter. But the click-to-dial doesnt work. Here is the scenario->
1. Customer Call comes in.
2. Agent gets a screen pop and the relevant service request form is popped.
3. Agent answers the call, talks and then hangs up.
4. Agent clicks on the click-to-dial icon next to the customer number field on the service request form.
5. Nothing happens.
Basically, Oracle is not sending the dial string to my adapter at all. I am expecting Oracle will pass the dial string to the CTI adapter to let it place the outbound call as it does in Direct integration. In Direct integration, the CTI adapter does get the dial string from Oracle when agent clicks on "initiate call". Any idea why this is not the case with Basic? Is it not supported with basic?

MSI GF4 Ti-4200 doesnt work with WindowsXP
I can't get the MSI display tools to work - it crashes,
the vbios.dll doesnt load, it also crashes.
the tv in doesnt work ,it crashes
the tv out doesnt work ,it crashes.
all the supplied software also crashes "application has encountered an error and cannot continue. sorry for any inconvenience"
the intervideo software (windvr, wincoder, winproducer) and MSI PVI software all crashes as well.
what's the deal with this stuff? ?(

Has ANYONE been able to make the InterVideo WinProducer 2 software, that comes with the retail version of the MSI G4Ti4200-VTD64 card, work successfully under the Windows XP Home or Pro operating system?
If the answer is YES, then I will begin investigating why my system can't.
If the answer is NO, then I only ask for other people's recommendations of what software WILL work in place of that. I NEED those functions to work. That's why I paid extra for the VIVO.
All we've heard so far in this thread are NO votes. I would like to see just how widespread this is. If I can find ONE person who claims it works fine on his/her computer under Windows XP, then my NEXT question would be if they had to do anything different to make it run, or was it just a straight install? Did they add the program patch available from the MSI website? See where I'm going with this?

BTW, I would think when investigating a program's FLAT refusal to run, that the MOST important things aren't listed in these signature files. It has to do with what ELSE is running at the same time. Which services are running and which are NOT? What memory resident programs are loaded at boot-up? Any service packs installed? How about any security patches from Microsoft? Which anti-virus software (if any)? Which DirectX version? Personal firewall? Etc., etc.
Granted, the hardware DOES have a factor, but I feel all of these are MORE important factors than the speed or brand of a persons hardware. I look at the signitures more as bragging rights than anything else.
Now, this is just my opinion and may not reflect the feelings of the more sane people around me.
