ALV Report not getting displayed in Background

Hi All,
I am using Object Oriented approach of ALV to display the Report, in foreground it works fine but in background I don't get the Report.
I am using the below piece of code but doesn't seems to be working well.

I was about to say this...
If that is the case u don hav to design a custom control in ur screen, instead use ur screen as a
dummy container which will work well in fore/back ground

For ur second question:
goto SP01->give spool no->exec->select the spool no(check)-> press shift+F4...

Oops alv report not getting displayed

Hi experts,
I have REQUIREMENT WHERE I NEED TO DISPLAY THREE REPORTS USING ALAV OOPS.
I have maintained a FM to call alv rport.
,I have two validations to make at to different location in report. The report needs to be displayed only after I perform two different validations.
Issue is
I call this ALV reprt Fm once at : AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT
and second time at : START OF SELECTION...
Now I can see the ALV report ( oops with three reports in one container) very well when i call it from : AT SECETION SCREEN OUTPUT( Here I perform one of teh two validations which I have mentioned above...The validation performed here is of Selction screen valiudation).
ButNow when I perform another validation at START OF SELECTIOn...here I cannot see the ALV report...TEH screen appearing is blank...
I am calling teh SAME OOPS ALV Function Module from both the locations...( START of SEL and AT selc O/p)..
I have debugged teh code and checked teh feidcatalogue genration as well s output table .and also structure
parameteers .. all of tehm are getting populated in both the cases ,,, but dont know why thye output doesnot appear in th last call..
please help ., I am stuck up...

Hi Kshitija T,
START-OF-SELECTION is processed in PAI of selection screen - as soon as all processing is done, the program flow will return, initialize your program an all of it's objects and display the selection screen again.
I solved this by disabling the default report status EXECUTE button and used AT-SELECTION-SCREEN events.

'@' not getting displayed in the ALV report

Hello,
I am facing a strange issue in the ALV report display. A string starting with '@' is not getting displayed and says "default icon " on the report. and this is varying from system to system for the same user.
can anyone please help me in resolving the issue.

@ is a default value as per ALV internal process. This is used in icons .
I think this is causing the confusion.
Check in the fieldcat if there is any adjsutment to be made to handle this.

Footer Not Getting Displayed IN OO ALV

HI Experts,
I am using OO ALV and wish to display a footer for it.
but the footer is not getting displayed.

Footer for each page means you should use the EVENT END_OF_PAGE this will trigger , but not in display, but when you print the report it will work.
Footer at the end_of report then you have to use END_OF_LIST event.
BCALV_TEST_LIST_EVENTS
check the above program to test the events.

Data is not getting displayed in the report from an Infoset.

Hi All,
I am having a report based on an infoset. This report is displaying the data in the Dev. envmt. When it is transported to the QA, it is not displaying the data in the BEx as well as RSRT, in the QA envmt. The patch levels of both the Dev. and QA are the same. The Queries are same in the Dev and QA also.
While trying to display the data from the infoset (rt.click- display data), i am able to view the data, in the QA.
Could anyone please suggest why the data is not getting displayed in the query designer.

Hi Ashish,
I ran the "ZPS/!ZPS" in RSRT where ZPS is the infoset name. In Dev, it displayed the values. In QA, it displayed the below messages:
ECharacteristic 0TCAKYFNM does not exist. Check authorizations
WThere are calculated elements. These results are bracketed [ ]
and below that, it displayed the values for Number of records. But, it has not displayed the values for the other figures.
Does this has any impact in QA.

Hier Node with character (e.g. 11100A) is not getting displayed in report

Hi All,
I have loaded the Finanacial Statement Version Hier in BI. It is perfectly loaded in the InfoObject 0GLACCEXT.
Some Hier Nodes contain charcters in the Node name like 1100A and 1100B and rest are all number like 1100, 1200, 11000 etc.
While I run the Report the Hier Nodes with nos (like 1100, 11000) are perfectly getting displyed in the report. But the Hier Nodes having the characters (like 1100A and 1100B) are not getting displayed into the Report and all the GLs under it are going into Unassigned node in the Reports.
Plz help me.

Your hierarchy is made up of characteristics with the values 1100, 11100A etc.
In your hierarchy is RSH1, does each node have the specific characteristic value Node 1
-1100
-11100A etc
Or is it a range i.e.
Node 1
1000 : 11100A

For project the budget is not getting displayed in Report S_ALR_87013558 though the budget is planned by TCode: CJ30 and released also by TCode: CJ32
Is there any setting in customising in information systems to display in the report.

I had a look into CJ30 but the overall Budget is available. Is there any change required in the report.

Profit center text not getting displayed in report

Hi all
Iam using 0profit_ctr in my query.But in report the text associated with it is not getting displayed.When i see the masterdata the text is displayed properly.
Please let me know how to rectify this.

Right click on the master object, and click "Activate Master Data"

Values not getting displayed from first page of the report.

Values in the report is getting displayed from second page.
First page in the report only displaying the report title and column names.
Secone page onwards, data and column names are generated.

Portal Forms are not getting displayed in the new oracle environment.

Hi All,
The Forms in our Portal applications are not getting displayed after we have done the upgradation of Database in Unix from 8i to 9i. The reports are working fine.The forms that were added as portlets are not getting displayed and other forms that are called thorough links returns error when it is run. The Newly created forms are also not running but returns error. The Portal Version is 3.0.9.8.3. Pls help.

Based on the requirement , check whether the customer contact has been done carried out for the invoice , then possibility it must have gone out of the worklist , chekc whether the Invoice posted in the AR has been transferred to FSCM collection .

Default Value is not getting displayed in SUN ONE Ldap

Hello,
I have created an attribute in slapd.user_at.conf and it is associated in slapd.user_oc.conf.
The attribute default value is given through SUN ONE Console. But, In our application the default value is not getting displayed.
We need the default value to run our applicatin. Can anyone help me for this issue

Hi anandkumar,
I belive this issue can be resolved by changing the Query proprties for the perticular field.
Kindly check the Field proerties in query designer and ensure that Text is enabled ather than Key.
__Field property check up:__Go to query designer->click onn the field-> Right hand side in properties click on display tab-> select Text in drop down menu of Display as tab.
FURTHER CHECK UP: check the master data avaiulability for the perticular info object, if masterdata is not available, do the text data for txt data availability in report level.

Cureently m working on R12 upgrade project.
And we have a report which is working fine 12 but the graphs are not getting displayed as like 11i.
Could you plz any one help how to fix the issue.
Note: There is no error is coming up. But in the graph part , graph is not getting displayed.

Whenever a record is Edited the rows are not getting displayed in the repor

When a new record is added or edited, It is physically getting added or edited according to the process, but those records are not getting displayed in the report..
Please Any body faced this situation...

I am also trying to display images insid the datagrid but i get a weird broken image(all silver gray).
My item renderer is:
