ALV Repot - RFC -Urgent
Hi Expets,
My requirment is i have to check the duplicate records like if there are two materials with the same material description yet different material number.
But this should check other system (also SAP),
My question is can i use
CALL FUNCTION 'functionname' DESTINATION name will work?
please share the above or any other alternative is there.

can you explain a bit more what you want to do?
My understanding is, that you want to call a function module in another SAP system using CALL FUNCTION 'functionname' DESTINATION. From this function module you receive a table that you later want to display in an ALV grid, is this correct?
I don't see a problem why it shouldn't work like this.

Hello Experts
I am updating a table in SCM server with the data from R/3 tables. I am using RFC with destination.
I created an FM[RFC] in R/3
I created a program in SCM, in that i am calling that RFC.
I created a dummy RFC in SCM with the same paramters.
When i am executing the FM in R/3 i could able to fetch the data as output including some return value.
But when i am executing the program which is calling the RFC i am not getting the data.
But i am able to get the return value in R/3 FM[RFC]*
So i am sure that logical destination name is working
[ call 'FM' destination 'dest name' ].
My problem is i am not getting the data to the SCM server eventhogh i could able to get data in R/3 and I could able to connect to remote server.
*Guys Kindly let me know the solution for this it's a bit urgent

In the RFC function place the code as infinate loop. like
Data : x type c.

when you execute this the process will stop in this loop. Go to SM50 and select the process in debug mode. And in the debug mode you can change the value of x. then you can continue from that step in debug mode and you can trace.

Logic for Refreshing the ALV Report (Very Urgent)
Hi Experts,
My <b>ALV report</b> needs a <b>refresh button</b> on the output.
The <b>Refresh button</b> should be available to allow user to keep this report on screen and <b>refresh regularly</b> rather than <b>going back</b> and <b>running it again.</b>
I am using <b>Function modules</b> and not <b>OOPS Concept</b> here.............As i am<b> unaware</b> of OOPS Please provide me solution in <b>FM's Only</b>.

This mean to say that if you have a 'refresh' push button in your gui status, every time you press the button, the list should get refreshed.
In ALV, to refresh the table you have to call the method "refresh_table_display".
It has the syntax very similar to creating the table.
It has two parameters. In the first one, you can mention if you want to refresh only the data (the icons are not refreshed)
or
if you want to refresh only the icons around the grid (the data is not refreshed - this option is mostly not used in day to day applications).
the synatx is :-
call method grid (name of grid )->refresh_table_display

Header and Footer in ALV.. URGENT
Hi All,
I want to print Header and Footer in ALV list/grid. Like in header, i want page no.( 1 of 10), UserName, Report Name etc.. and in Footer, I need selection screen criteria. For this I am using a function module (FM_SECECTOIN_CRITERIA_PRINT).

Header is not coming in alv list display- urgent
hi all,
i am sending my code below....
my requirement is in selection screen i have 4 radio buttons . if i click 1 radio button it will duiisplay data and and its header. report is working fine. my requirement id when i click r_mssng radio button(missing radio button) it is showing data correctsly. here i want to show header as 'Missing details report'.

Hide delete option is not working in ALV List Display- urgent
Hi All,
In my program i am displaying the output by using alv list display. after displaying the data i am displaying my own pf status here. in this i have few pushbuttons like
selest all, deselect all, hide . first two options are working fine. when i click hide button selected records are going to be hide.but this is not happening in my program. any body cam send me the code plz.

What do you mean by Hiding the records.
Deleting completely from the screen.
You can just delete the records from the internal table and pass to field catalog before displaying again.
or serach in the slis structrue for hiding the contents of the output.

How to edit particular field in alv list display-urgent

my requirement is i am displaying output using alv list display. now my rewuirement :
i am displaying out in edit mode only. when user clicks one particular field
for example record is like
runrate a01 maheed -> if user clicks on a01 this field should be editable. i have a following code

GOA replication problem- data missing during RFC-Urgent
Hi,
I have an issue with updating GOA from SRM to ECC. Standard GOA do not have any fields to update TAX code and ERS indicator to the back end.
This two fields are added to the structure BBPS_CTR_ITEM through customization.
The GOA is transferred to the backend through the FM META_CTR_TRANSFER which in turn calls the FM B46B_CTR_TRANSFER.
Inside the FM B46B_CTR_TRANSFER the RFC call is made to FM BBPV_CONTRACT_TRANSFER which actually transfers the GOA to the backend. The GOA line item details are passed to this FM through lt_be_items[].
The issue is, i can able to see the TAX code and ERS indicator in the itab lt_be_items in SRM side, but when it goes to the ECC through RFC these two fields become blank,
I checked the structure of the same itab in ECC side the field names and the domains are same.

Hi,
I am using a RSPC_CHAIN_REMOTE_EXECUTE FM to trigger a PC in BI. it is triggering the PC, but after it is triggering, the screen for selecting the Job Priority comes up and the transacation is not ending.
The point to note is the PC is dummy PC with a Start Variant and a Message after it with n o data transaction involved.
Please let me know if i am missing something here. Please repply asap as it is urgent.

Copy Paste below code and execute the same. The output contains mutiple lines in header but I dont know how to do it in ALV. May be of some help to you.

Get the ALV header using the model(cl_salv_wd_config_table) object.
using this header object use the method to set the image SET_IMAGE_SOURCE.
