Check your billing address information. iTunes uses the USPS system to validate the CC billing address. You could either try;
1. Look at your paper or online bank statement
2. Go to usps.com and look at zipcode lookup. Enter your billing address, submit and look for any change. A simple "A" versus "a" could make the difference.

I stopped using iCloud after another family member received all my contacts. Now I want to restart using iCloud. How do I prevent this happening again? We share the same Apple id password and credit card but different usernames.
If two of you shared the same contacts you were logged in with the same Apple ID. In order to avoid this you need to use different Apple IDs, and be using separate Macs or separate user accounts on the same Mac.
One or other of you should create a new Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com for which you will need a non-Apple email address which hasn't been associated with another Apple ID. -

The songs are not still downloading in the Downloads tab in the iTunes store app, or do they show in the Purchased tab in the app for downloading ? Or does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes find it ?

I live in the UK. In the past I used stored credit to buy games, movies, music etc from Itunes. I wanted to buy a game that I couldn't afford with my stored credit so I used my card. Now I have removed my credit card details but I do not know where my stored money has gone. Does anyone know where it has gone?
First, make sure you're logged into the iTunes Store using the account ID and password you set up, or used, when you redeemed your card/gift. If you are, try signing out of the account and back in.
If you're sure you are using the correct account and that you're signing in to the iTunes Store, and signing out and back in doesn't help, go to the Purchase History and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have a balance left. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display. This display error, again, can usually be corrected by logging out of the iTunes Store and then back in.
If you confirm that you should have balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, send a message to the iTunes Store customer service department through the contact form you'll find by selecting the most applicable section of their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) and explain the problem to them.

After downloading the Sims app, i purchased items from it. I checked my credit card account and the purchase was made, but after checking the app, the items i payed for weren't there. A message saying "Error: contact iTunes support" popped up. I just want to know why my purchase wasn't returned with the items i payed for. If you are using mobile safari on the iphone to access icloud.com, then that won't work. Mobile safari can't log into icloud.com

I think you are leaving a LOT out of this message. That bill from 20 yrs ago probably was only for 1 line, included NO minutes(you probably paid at least $0.30/minute for calling maybe more plus long distance) OR data. With you current bill of almost $200, it looks as if you have multiple lines, you DO have minutes, long distance is included, and you have 3G or 4G data(neither of which were available 20 years ago). You can't really compare your bill of $20 to your current bill. They are not the same thing.
If you want to make a comparison, 1 individual line(which includes 450 minutes AND long distance) will run you $39.99/month. This same line with 450 minutes(from 20 years ago) would have run you $20(line charge) + $135 for calling minutes + any long distance you may have had.
You can't compare smartphones such as BB, Android, iPhone, etc... because THEY WERE NOT AVAILABLE. The oldest technology, BB, wasn't available until 13 years ago! -
When I try to open my downloaded photos from a DVD through finder the computer says that I don't have permission to view the files.
This is something that has just happened recently.Copy the images to your Pictures folder or Desktop and then try again.
