AM and VO classes in oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server

I have created an OA search page using p7523554_R12_GENERIC for Release 12.0.6
I have created my project in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.webui
I created:
my VO in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.server
my AM in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.serveri
my PG in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.webui
my CO in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.webui
I ftp-ed my VO xml, AM xml, PG xml, CO class to $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/webui.
I ftp-ed my AM and VO class to $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server
Error:
When my OA page loads I get the error indicating my AM class file is not located in $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/webui
Workaround:
Thus, I ftp-ed my AM and VO class to $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/webui
And this time page loads perfectly fine.
My understanding is Oracle advises OA VO and AM class files to be ftp-ed(in bin mode) into $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server
Please advise why AM and VO classes in $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server appears to fail but AM and VO classes in $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/webui succeed.
And please advise if I have to include a step to get AM and VO classes working in $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server path.

I ftp-ed my VO xml, AM xml, PG xml, CO class to $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/webui.
I ftp-ed my AM and VO class to $OA_JAVA/oracle/apps/xxcus/objname/server
You are wrong above. marked in bold. AM & VO should not be FTP to webui folder.
my VO in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.server
my AM in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.serveri
my PG in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.webui
my CO in oracle.apps.xxcus.objname.webui
All files are created in correct directory. However it is recommended not to create directory in oracle/apps/....
Always create this like XXAP/oracle/apps/fnd/framework/toolbox/tutorial/server or webui
Now when you what to deploy all the files do remember where to move them.
Controller, Region, Page --> Webui folder
Application Module, View Object -- > Server folder
Entity Object --> Scheme/Server folder.
Remove the existing xxcus folder from server.
I tell you a simple tech. Just FTP xxcus Folder which is in MyClasses to Server $OA_JAVA/*XXX*/oracle/apps/
Run import command to import page to the Database.
XXX-->it could be anything like XXOracle or XXAP

What is your Client Operayting system, what is your browser?
This error happens for one client or for all? Did you try to login from one other machine(for instance XP) and dif. browser version?

Yup, its there. So all I can say is that either FWK team forgot to provide the javadoc for the same or it is meant for internal development only.

Join between SO and AR tables in Oracle Apps 11.0.3

Hello,
I am new to Order Management. Can anyone please suggest join between SO Tables and Receivables tables in Oracle Apps version 11.0.3.
I am working on an Invoicing error during Autoinvoice Import Program and I am doing workaround on this issue. This error comes for specific SO only. The error causes all invoices for a org not be imported into AR. To find out a solution for the same we run Autoinvoice into batches by Sales Order using a process of elimination to determine the offending So transaction. From these offending SO then we determine the customer for these SO's. And then find out if there are any other accounts that have relationships with the offending customer and then turn off that relationship. Then rerun Autoinvoice for that SO. Most of the time SO will be imported successfully. Can anyone please suggest what must be the issue in Autoinvoice Program as I am new this.

Deploying a war file in Oracle Apps's application server

Hi all, i have a war file which i want to deploy inside oracle apps's application server, i just want to know the location to put my war file in so that the application server will auto deploy it.And also provide port and url(Application server) where i can access that web app.

There are a lot of dependencies involved. app severes before 10g are not generic j2ee server. what kind of files are you putting in ur war file?

2. Navigate to Profiles > System.
3. Query for the Responsibility used and for Profile: MO: Operating Unit.
4. Kindly check the value attached to the security profile: MO: Operating Unit.
5. If security profile is not set, attach a value to it.
6. Delete the Browser and Apache Cache. Restart the Apache.
7. Re-test the issue again.

Issue with FRD and Forms Trace in Oracle Apps Release 12.0.6 forms

Morning..could someone please assist us with this issue..
We are trying to generate FRD and Forms Trace for a seeded Oracle Apps Forms in Release version 12.0.6
1. We have setup the below mentioned profile option at the user level : ICX: Forms Launcher
value : http://<host_name>:<port number>/OA_HTML/frmservlet?record=forms tracegroup=medium
tried with this value as well : http://<host_name>:<port number>/OA_HTML/frmservlet?record=forms tracegroup=0-97
and then log out and then tried the transaction steps again in Oracle Apps frontend
2. Then checked at the directory location named : $FORMS_TRACE_DIR and there we see a file generated like this :forms_19136694.trc
But in this file we could only see the generic seeded error messages...why are we not seeing all the message calls showing all the details regards form level trigger , data blocks , values etc for the form
We need to have the FRD & Forms trace generated urgently for an issue...
Could someone please help us as to how a complete FRD & Forms Trace be generated in Oracle Forms in Oracle Apps version R 12.0.6 & what exact steps need to be checked.

Have you tried to delete/rename the file, reproduce the issue and see if a new file is generated?
You would need to logout and login again, or bounce the application services (if possible) after doing the necessary configuration steps and before reproducing the issue.
We need to have the FRD & Forms trace generated urgently for an issue...

Hope everybody is doing good. I am in search of a good tutorial on Oracle apps finance and hrms module. Handsonerp.com is a very good site but unfortunately I need to pay money for learning from that site. Does anybody know a good site for beginners ? I have been asked to gain the functional knowledge,flow of forms and the tables used in the backend. I am browsing for this for a long time but not getting a good site. Any suggestion would be helpful.

Oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Could not create Java class: (xxaai.oracle.apps.fnd.upload.webui.XxaaiBUDemandMassLoadPGCO)

I have recently created a custom OAF app in JDev for R12.2.2. In JDev this is working fine, so I have deployed this to the environment. I created the function to access the page, but I am receiving this error. I validated that the class and xml files match the name used in JDev and are in the correct location under $JAVA_TOP in the RUN environment. As a test I created the same page in Jdev for 11.5.10 and the page deployed and worked fine.
What could be the difference in R12.2.2? The only things that we have deployed so far are converted 11.5.10 apps that needed changes to the VO definitions for R12.2.2

Just bringing this up to the top of the list to see if anyone else has had this same issue.

I have to fetch master item name,its description,ordered item name,its description for a sales order .
Do any one know the table names and link or Query.

I assume ordered_item_description is same as item description (in 11i)
Yes - there could be a relationship between customer item and your inventory item.
You can set it up by going to Inventory > Items > Customer Items > Customer Item Cross References

My requirement is that l need to get the number of date difference between requisition apporval date(requisition) and po approval date (purchase) excluding holidays how to do it ?

One PO could be generated from multiple requisitions. In that case, which requisition would you like to consider?
One requisition could be converted into multiple POs. In that case, which PO would you like to consider?
Assuming, there is a one-to-one relationship between your POs and requisitions:
Link a PO to the corresponding requisition by joining po_distributions_all.req_distribution_id with po_req_distributions_all.requisition_id
Once you have found the 2 records, get the approved_date from po_headers_all and po_requisition_headers_all
Then go to bom_calendar_dates for those dates and find the difference between seq_num. That is what you are looking for.
