Am changing computers and cannot find my password or user name to transfer thunderbird

I want to transfer thunderbird to my new computer but cannot find my password or user name .Is it also possible to store ,or take with me e mails I have saved please ...My address book will that come over with thunderbird ? thank you for any help .John

Presumably that will leave you with both the old and new computers working.
Not sure which password you refer to is this for your email/webmail account, or a computer login password or something else?
You should not need any password just to open Thunderbird.
Be aware Thunderbird may only store minimal details of your emails but yes you will be able to transfer details and contacts. See

hi- i have a Power Mac G4 with Mac OS 9.0.4. I forgot my password. I tried to boot the iMac with PowerMac G4 Software Restore CD.
In System Folder (on the hard drive), I could locate Preferences folder but i could not find the file named "Multi-User Prefs"
Please suggest what I can do to reset my password.

You need to boot from the System "Install" CD(hold down c key after you restart).
Go to the hard drive click on System Folder then click preferences then trash Multiple Users Preference!

Assuming you mean the personal name associated with the account, as opposed to the login (which you can change if it's not an @icloud.com. @me.com or @mac.com address) you can change this at http://appleid.appla.com . Click on 'Manage your account' and then on 'Edit' next to 'Your name' and the name currently associated with the ID.

(This icon) in the upper right corner.
If you don't know the exact file name, you may have to redownload it so you can see it.
I would also try doing a reboot after you change your desktop background to what you want.

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

FB01 - Need to update fields and cannot find solution

I have a need to update VERTN, KUNNR, WERKS, and PPRCT when posting an invoice with FB01. The only field I can find a way to change is PPRCT (through substitution). I have looked at all the user exits, BADI's, BAPI's, and BTE's and cannot find a solution. Nothing I can find has these fields available to change.
I thought BTE 1020 was my solutution, but it seems you can't change any data with it - which I can't figure out the point of it then. Right after the call to the BTE, it sets the BSEG internal table back to the way it was before the call.
Anyone have any suggestions?

You are corrent that the fields you want to substitute are not available in <b>BSEG_SUBST</b>.
To get these fields you will have to maintain <b>table GB01 and GB01C</b>. This is where you define which field you can substitute. The fields you want are define as non substitutable in table GB01 ( BEXCLUDE = 'X' ).
I know that you can substitute custom fields by adding entry in these table but i do not know if it is advisable to change the entry in table to make the field substitutable. I checked OSS not but could not find any for the fields you have specified.
You might want to check for OSS note by yourself and if you could not find any, write to SAP and ask if you can change the entry in GB01 and GB01C.

When iTunes say that try to find the file you want iTunes to play in your iTunes > Media folder. If iTunes offers to find others, let it. If it does not find them all you will have to find them yourself or re-add the files from your drive to iTunes (use Automatically Add to iTunes folder).

AlexCarey, I've been having issues purchasing recently and place a number of calls to the support team. On Oct. 5th, and on my own decision, I went into my itunes profile and re-entered my credit card expiration date and security code. (Notice, it is not displayed for safety measures.) If the books were purchased at the iBookStore, you will be able to redownload, like the apps. Some other sellers, like O'Reilly, also allow multiple downloads.
If you have (or can install) iTunes on a computer (Mac preferable, not mandatory) and run it then plug the device in, does it show up? If the computer can detect it, you can and should do a complete backup onto local storage immediately. That can then be used to reconstruct the content of the device on a new or repaired replacement. If you enable encryption, even the passwords will get saved.

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone. Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?
