have been getting script errors. js/ff_browser:28.
it only happens with firefox. please advise how this can be resolved.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I've never heard of that product before, but it seems to be, among other things, a 32-bit browser plugin. If that's the part you're having trouble with, quit your browser (e.g., Safari), select its icon in the Applications folder, open the info window, and check the box labeled "Open in 32-bit mode." Relaunch the browser and try again. If that doesn't help, contact the developer for support.

I get an error message when trying to view yahoo email. It says to wait awhile and try again. It continues to do this. How can this be resolved?

I've tried top open logic pro 9 today which I use daily and have been for the last 4 years. All software etc. is up to date. However it just quits and I get the 'logic pro quit unexpectedly' message. I've tried this several times in the last hour, including a restart and checking disk utility etc. Anyone else have the same problem? And if so, how did you resolve it please?

When trying to upload a photo into facebook or craigslist using FF25 I'm unable to access stored photos on my computer. How can this be resolved?

When clicking the "browse" button in attempt to upload photo I'm taken to the "file upload" page at which point I get a message that the program is not responding.

No one said anything about their being old, troublesome versions causing the problem. Sometimes, at no fault of Mozilla or Firefox, installations can become corrupt. This presents the need to erase the install and start over. It takes only a few minutes to accomplish and should only be required on rare occasion unless there is something seriously wrong with the computer. Your claim that "it's untested" is simply unwarranted, false and does nothing to assist with this issue. This does not appear to be a systemic issue with Firefox 25, so a local root cause is most likely.
If you don't like this possible solution, just wait for another contributor to offer advice. The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

Orientation no longer rotates - how can this be resolved?

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : ress and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
In terms of the iOS version, then it's shown in Settings > General > About > Version. It also shows on the Summary tab when connected to your computer's iTunes. The current version is 4.3.5 - if you are not on 4.3.5, and you want to update to it, then click on the Check For Updates button on the Summary tab when connected to your computer's iTunes

Images with transparency display edge artefacts - What am I doing wrong, how can this be resolved

I need to place photoshop images of text (with transparency) over a full screen slide show but I'm getting edge artefacts around the lettering which looks, well frankly, horrible. I don't recall previous versions of MUSE being quite as bad as this, am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to overcome these ugly artefacts?

I was dropping a pds file onto the stage. No other layers than image and transparent bg. I was scaling the image down in Muse which as I've discovered exaggerates the visibility of the image edge artefacts. After doing a bit of reading it appears this is a known problem with Adobe Muse, something to do with the algorithms Muse uses to scale images. I also think the colour of the layer contributed a little to the effect also.
Problem solved when I ditched the PSD route and instead imported the image SS as a PNG.

FF 4.0. The menus flash like a key is being held down making them inaccessible. The problem persists with all plugin's turned off. Firefox box in top left corner not showing. The old FF logo show there instead.

Turning off hardware acceleration worked in all cases.
With hardware acceleration enabled the menu flashing did not occur on the primary display, only the secondary display of a two-monitor system.

So here is the deal. I have purchased a new iPad 3-32 GB and i was trying to sync it with my windows-7 computer. The device option doesn't appear in the I-tunes. What could be the possible problem and how can this be resolved.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
