Hi

Hi Garry,
Yes you can do so by going to Help -> Sign Out option in Elements 13 on your old PC.
Then click on the sign out button on the Sign Out screen that comes up.
Now uninstall Elements13 on the old machine.
Now you can install Elements13  on your new machine using your serial number.

Abhishek Seth.

  • Transfer Elements 8 to new PC

    Hi,
Last December I bought a download of Elements 8 and installed it on my PC, registered it etc.
I have now bought a new PC and want to transfer Elements to the new machine, I do not have the original download files - any ideas how to do it?
    Thanks,
    Andy.

Click the red Adobe logo at the top left of this page.
Then click My Adobe >> My Orders
Log in to your account using your Adobe ID
Expand your purchase history using the small black triangles to the left of the purchase date and if a download is still available for your product it will be shown to the right.

How do I move Adobe Elements to a new computer - I will not be using the old one going forward

If you're on PSE12 It's Help> Sign Out. Then uninstall.

  • Transfer elements 8 to new iMac

While attempting to transfer my Elements 8 program from a 2006 iMac to my new 2013 Mac, it looks like the new one will not run elements 8. Can this be true? Do I have to buy a new version of Elements, or is there a way to transfer my program?

I don't see a reason why it will not work. But this brings up the question of what you mean by "transfer". If you mean "copy the files from one computer and paste them on the other," then this will not work. This copy action will not get all the files required. Instead, you should be reinstalling using the original installation media (disks or download).

Do I really have to buy a completely new version of Elements, or is there some way to transfer from Mac 10.6.8 to 10.9.5?

  • How do i transfer elements to a new computer?

My current Windows 7 machine is failing so much that I am purchasing a new computer.
I understand how to transfer the data, but how do I transfer the application?
The new computer will have 2 HD with applications on HD1 and the data on HD2.
How do I reconcile the Catalog that previously referred to files on the "C" that now will be on the "D" drive.

It's best to use the backup and restore function built into Organizer rather than transferring data.
This link has further information for all versions of PSE from v6, and above.

  • Not able to transfer all music to new computer....

My old computer keeps crashing when I try to back up all my music (store & imported) to my iPod at about the halfway mark, so half my music is stuck on my old computer. I am wondering if there is another way to pull ALL of my music into iTunes on my new computer without having to do it through my iPod or an external drive?

Ok, i have a similar question. I just got a new pc; my music etc was stored on an external HD, but now I can put it all on my pc. After a fresh install of itunes, I tried dragging and dropping the itunes music folder from my hard drive into itunes; after it was all done transferring, it still only transfered a third from my itunes folder from the hard drive to the itunes folder on the pc. any suggestions?

  • If I buy/download photoshop elements onto my work laptop, then change my laptop, will i be able to transfer my licence onto the new machine.

If I buy/download photoshop elements onto my work laptop, then change my laptop, will i be able to transfer my licence onto the new machine.

Yes. You are allowed to install PSE on two computers at once, but if you don't need it on the first computer anymore, go to editor>help>sign out to deactivate it and free up one of your activations for future use.
As for moving your photos and catalogs to another computer, see:
Use Backup, Restore to move catalog | Organizer | Elements 6 or later

What is your "Elements 2" - Photoshop Elements 2 or Premiere Elements 2? For now I will assume Premiere Elements 2 which had to be on some version of Windows.
What do you have from Premiere Elements 2 - project files (.prel) or exports to file formats such as .avi or .mpg or .mov?
Project files from Premiere Elements (any version) Windows cannot be used in Premiere Elements (any version) Mac.
Video files exported from Premiere Elements 2 with its QuickTime choice (.mov files) would be likely to open in Premiere Elements 13 Mac. The other Premiere Elements
2 choices of MPEG and Windows Media would be expected to need conversion to .mov or .mp4 before import into Premiere Elements 13.
In Premiere Elements 13 Mac, consider importing the files from wherever you save files in Mac to a project with the project's Expert workspace Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets. I would strongly encourage you to set the project preset manually (File Menu/New/Project) to match the properties of these source files before import rather than let the project do it manually for you based on the properties of the first video dragged to the Timeline.
Please supply more details so that we can fine tune the reply. Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thank you.

  • I am trying to use home sharing with my computer and someone's ipad, will i still be able to transfer stuff in the library like it normally does on two computers

I want to share the library from my friend itunes to my computer but I am not using a computer to share I am using an iPad 2. Am I still going to be able to transfer the library from the iPad to my computer

    Hi ashleymartinsmith!
I have an article for you that may help you understand Home Sharing a little better:
    Understanding Home Sharing
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819
Home Sharing in iTunes is designed to let you easily share your iTunes media libraries between up to five computers in your household. You can also use Home Sharing to play your iTunes content on your iOS devices and Apple TV (2nd generation) if they are connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
The important thing to note here is that all connected devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network for Home Sharing to be functional. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

I recently purchased a new PC. I had backed-up my old computer on Carbonite, so I was able to transfer my iTunes library to the new computer when I downloaded my info from Carbonite, but the playlists are gone. Is there a way to restore my playlists?
Most of my playlists are on my iPod. If I use my iPod to transfer, will the songs double in my library? Also, how do I do this?
Thank you for any & all info you can provide!
    Julie

If you had backed up and restored your library properly you should have ended up with the playlists too. Did you import the media folder from the backup drive into a new library rather than restoring the entire iTunes folder?
