Am I activated or not?

Yesterday the FIOS installer told me I had to 'activate' my account online. He said that since I don't want a verizon email address but want to continue to use gmail, that when the installer got to the email part I should just close the window and I'm done.
But the activation program is still on my desktop and says it's 46% finished.
Am I activated now? Or should I keep going? I don't really want another email address to deal with, nor do I want any other software stuff, I don't think...

Complete the process. It will only suggest items to you but you can customize as you go without being forced to download anything. If you create an email adress with us it does not mean you are forced to use it now.

Need to Check whether the program is Active or not

Is there any statement where i can check whether the report program is Active or not.
Using below statement i am copying the entire Code in internal table it_source.Before copying in the source code in the internal table it_source.I need to check that program is Active or not if it is not active and i need to give a pop message and forceliy i need to Active it.

i just checked the table REPOSRC for a program which was not activated, i got two entries for the program one as active and one as inactive ,as soon as i activated the program there was a single entry.
so is it that we should check if we have any inactive entry in the table for the program?.

How do I turn off background ni file activity when not using Labview? I use labview rarely, and I also use my computer for demanding multimedia applications, including multitrack digital audio recording. I need to reduce as much background activity as possible, and taking a look with task manager I see files such as nimxs.exe, nipalsm.exe, nipalsm.exe, nisvcloc.exe, and nicitdl5.exe running even when I haven't used Labview (8 I believe). These files run even after I right click the NI icon on the lower right and turn off the application. I would like the computer to boot up without these files, and for the necessary files to be activated only when I start the program.
Can this be done or do I have to remove labview from the system to improve performance?

Hello, those processes are part of running NI services that start when Windows boots. These processes serve varied purposes and stopping them can have undefined and unknown consiquences for your NI products. These products run at "normal" priority meaning that they should be preempted by any process running at a higher priority which I would expect your other application to be doing given their time sensitivity. That being said, in Windows XP (I can't speak for other OSes), you can lower their priorities even greater through task manager (right click the process»set priority) to further remove them from contention for resources. If you want to prevent them from running you can set the service startup type to "manual" in Control Panel»Administrative Tools»Services. Right click the process go to Properties and Under the General tab choose Startup Type»Manual. This will start up the processes only when something directly starts it up. LabVIEW will start these processes up as it attempts to use them. When you shut down LabVIEW you will need to manually shut down these processes through task manager. Again, doing this can cause problems with your NI products on your system and it is not advised.

How can we know if an entity is active or not in a given period in HFM??

In in the ownship management, we can see the child entity is inactive, but we don't know when it was inactivced, is there any table we can find to see if an entity is active or not??

Hi,
The best way that comes to mind is to make a grid where you have the entity and value dimensions on the rows and years and periods on the columns.
For entities you select the parent and the child you want to look at, value dimension members <Entity Currency> and [Proportion]. For years you select those which you want to look at and all the periods.
On the grid the [Proportion] should turn from green to red on one of the year/periods and that's the moment your entity became inactive to that parent.

How to handle the exception in GP(Exception : Activity could not be read)

Hi all
we are getting the GP exceptions as 1) "Activity could not be read" 2) "Action has been stopped"
3) error while processing the item can not be displayed
Please let me know how to handle these exceptions in GP .
currently i got some documents in SDN on GP exceptions but those are related to manual exceptions for example if you enterd wrong data in the inputfield then we can handle those exceptions then it will allow to enter the new value but the exceptions which i mentioned above are new it seems
can you please let me know how to handle or solve those 3 exceptions

Error in workflow: Cannot complete action: Activity could not be read

Hi All,
We have a process with 2 blocks in sequence. (1) Sequential Block and (2) Parallel Block.
(1) Sequential Block
A1>A2>A3-->A4
(2) Parallel Block
a11 || a22 || a33 || a44
I need to go from A2 to parallel block execution.
I have set result state of A2 as terminal so that sequential block ends and parallel block gets executed.
But it ends with error. "Cannot complete action: Activity could not be read."
Has anybody faced similar kind of problem?
Any pointer to this will be much appreciated.

This error comes only if the Next action is not getting the User id to whom it should assign
Check the parameter passing to next action.Also some time mapping will not be done properly.

The easiest way, I guess, is by going to transaction SMOD, sticking in your enhancement name and pressing the test button.
When placing breakpoints, don't use Breakpoints > Breakpoint at > Statement... and enter
PERFORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
because you won't get any hits since the function module names are stored dynamically.
Rather use Breakpoints > Breakpoint at > Function Module... and enter
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
for a better chance of hitting the breakpoint.

You may also want to reset your network settings:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: this will delete any network related settings (saved Wi-Fi passwords, etc), it will not erase any content from your device.

1 How to check weather a material created is active or not.
2 MIGO standard document has a check button, can we have similar check button in other documents like Purchase requisition.
3 In case of material valuation is Standard (Price control), the costing is done on the basis of the Standard Price or actual cost of the raw material.

There is a Blue "i" button for the Material, pls click that it will show you the current status..

Is there any way we can find suppliers which are active but not being used for a long time (for a specific duration) . i.e being involved in no open POs or no invoices processed or no payments made.

Error in NWDS Creating activity is not allowed

Hi all,
I received this error and can't use the NWDI fully...
the error message is:
FAILED: Creating activity is not allowed because workspace is not modifiable
all properties in .dtc, .metadata, NWDS folder, and project folders are not set to read only..
where i need to change to work that??

While creating the project from DTR, did you create the project from Inactive DC's?
You should not create a project from Active Dc's.

Pick activity is not working properly while creating two or more file adapt

Hi,
pick activity is not working properly while creating two or more file adapter for bpel process.
bpel process compiled and deployed succesfully but while observing the wsdl file of deployed process you can find only one file adapter. so it polls only from that location.
can anybody help on over this? or it's limitation of jdev to use only one file adapter at time while using Pick.

Error in GP: The next activity is not yet available: try again later...

I am receiving the following error in Guided Procedures: The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh" button.
Here is my scenario:
I have a Guided Procedure where all of the activities are executed by the process initiator.
In the first step of the Guided Procedure, I run an Action called 'Read Document'.
The Action is set up as follows:
Callable Object for Execution: Read Document
Callable Object for Display: Read Document
Since this action doesn't do anything except display a document, I have defined the same callable object for both execution and display.
After the user clicks the Complete button, the Guided Procedure moves to the next step as expected. However, if the user returns to the activity that they just completed (because maybe they want to read the document again), I receive the following error message: The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh" button.
What is causing this message and how can I get rid of it?

Try something really simple.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try this. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Or try this as well. Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure it is set to On.
@Freckles888 ..... I really doubt that "millions of others" are having this problem. I think that news would be all over the airwaves and Apple would be taking more heat about it that we can imagine.

FaceTime Activation Could not sign in

Hi,
i bought ipod touch 4g for facetime.
and i can't activate it!
it stops on ipod>settings>Facetime='FaceTime Activation, Could not sign in. Please Check your network connection and try again.'
i have used all the solutions for facetime but all in vain.
1) Time and date settings Check (even change them and again corrected)
2) All Ports are open verified with simple port tester (on windows 7 off course i changed the ip address)Ports are open.
3) My Apple id is email (not ME one) contain combination of alpha numeric,small and capital.
4) Restore 2/3 times ios 4.2.1
5) Tried DNS Setting to Google's 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4
6) Created New ID in facetime and password entered carefully!
7) Tried 3 apple IDs (i don't like this But i wanted to run facetime)
i also have Iphone 4 facetime works great on it! i love this feature!
i tried to install Tango on Ipod! it installed but stops responding connecting (on Ipod touch 4), so tango also not working. i am just informing about tango. I want facetime to wrok.
Please Help me! I think this is from Apple server side problem!
