Am I being HACKED! Messages app is sending messages

I recently installed the messages app on my ipad so that I could text from it. Its been a day and I opened up my app and all the sudden there was a "Sent" messages to a four digit number. Inside the text it had the name DCB_Association, I called Verizon technical support and they had no clue. They told me someone must've hacked my verizon website password. I am in desperate need of help please someone help me lol I liked havin the app on my ipad but the message it sent looked like a MAC address and it has me a bit freaked out. Thanks in advance!

How is it that so many of our iCloud accounts are being hacked into? Mine was and scam messages were sent to a lot of people. I even received one from someone else's hacked iCloud account.
All it takes is for one computer to be infected by a virus (obviously a PC) that sends all its contacts to the hacker's server, and then all these contacts are used as recipients to scam emails. Hackers even post stolen contacts on the web for others to use.

my phone keep asking me to sign in to iTunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
How can I check if I am being hacked? I think I am!
I am very suspicious that I am being hacked....like the kind where they can watch your screen and see through your webcam. How would I go about checking to see if this is true? Is there a way?
My computer has been freezing up and three times now a message box has popped up with the icon of the yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside, but before I can read what it says or manually close it, it goes away......
Also, I had posted this question before, along with a similar post on here yesterday, and they were beginning to receive comments back, and now they're gone. I haven't deleted anything from here, so does apple remove my posts, or is someone else....?

Hacking of webcam control need not be a concern for Mac OS X users.
If you are using Windows, you are wise to be cautious and take every possible precaution against Windows' security weaknesses, whether running on a PC or on a Mac (and whether via OS X Boot Camp or one of the PC emulators that runs inside OS X.)
For OS X Macs, the only way I know to make the webcam "hackable" would be for you (or someone else who had access access to your Mac) to modify or somehow damage your Mac or its software. Unless an "administrator" of your particular Mac has installed, activated, and authorized Apple Remote Desktop or some other software for remotely operating your Mac, it is highly unlikely that anyone can be using your cam without your explicit permission and action. The reliable way to prevent this is to carefully control physical access to your Mac so it cannot be modified.
However, if you are convinced that your Mac has unwanted software that you cannot identify, securely erase your entire startup disk. Then reinstall a fresh copy (not from your backups) of OS X and all necessary apps and updates. Finally, copy your important user data files to the fresh system from your backup to your fresh system.

My daughter used her friends apple account to login on her ipad and then the mother of her friend thought it was being hacked and consequently tracked the ipad and my daughter lost all her photos. Can we get these back?
Your iOS device backup only includes data and settings stored on your device. It doesn’t include data already stored in iCloud, for example contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo albums, iCloud Photo Library beta, My Photo Stream, and documents you save in iCloud using iOS apps and Mac apps.

I just got a message from my friend who never sent me the message. I know some people had the same problem years ago with the same phone with the same(-ish) message and I was wondering if it was the same thing. Also, who is the phone being hacked if it is? There has been so many different answers I'm not sure who it is that is having this problem, my phone or my contact's? I have a 3gs and she has a 4s. Does this happen on the 4s's?
This is the text in question. I've also heard that since there was a smaller square the phone has been hacked? Again... I'm not sure whose its was or if the information is correct.The square usually indicates a certain character was used that your iPhone does not recognize. It is very likely that the message was sent to you from another device that is not your friend's. First I would check to see if the conversation says Text Message or iMessage. If it came as a text and your friend has no record of sending it to you, I would have your friend contact their carrier promptly. If it's an iMessage, then I would have your friend reset their Apple ID Password that they use in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.

Dear Apple support, how can i delete my itunes account as i think im being hacked!! over the past few months a lot of money seems to be taken from my account ranging from as little as £1 to £60... i cant take any more. Go into your iTunes account and eliminate the payment method to none. Then change the password. FInally notify iTunes support of your problem. You will find ways to contact iTunes support on this website. Email works very well with iTunes support.
You do not want to delete your account and there is no need to do that to prevent further hacking. The reason is that any purchases of music, Apps, movies or whatever made with your iTunes account will be associated to that account and you can redownload them if you change iPhones, get an iPad or to your computer. If you were able to delete the account, which you cannot do, you would have to repurchase everything. -
Mail app malfunctioning, sending through wrong email
I have several emails keychained to my Mail app. I have also been using an email account which I share with several others for work related matters. This particular email is not in my keychain on the app. However, whenever I use the app to send emails, it always automatically sends through this work email. I don't understand why. I make it a point to check which email account I am sending from, but even then it inadvertantly sends from that one particular email.

Address book icon is suddenly disappearing. It is now just 1/2 visible. Am I being hacked?

The icon on the bottom of the screen for my Address Book, the little gold symbol, just got tons of lines on it and now has only half the picture visible. Apple will never send you an email asking you to verify your Apple ID credentials.
If you ever receive an email such as this again. do not reply, do not call. Forward the email to the reportphisihing email address above then delete that email. -
ICloud enabled apps not sending data to iCloud
I have many iCloud enabled apps, however only some of them will show up in the documents and data section under iCloud (Infinity Blade 2, Galaxy on Fire 2, Pocket God, W.E.L.D.E.R., Doodle Jump, Pocket God Journey to Uranus, and The Creeps!). However, other iCloud enabled apps are not in this section (Cut the Rope, Cut the Rope Experiments, Slice it!, Where's my Water?, and Qvoid). Why are these apps not sending there data to iCloud? They say they support iCloud, and these apps have been proven to work with iCloud, but I cannot get them to work.
P.S. Documents and data is ON!!!None at all.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -
I CANNOT ACCESS TO THE ITUNES STORE, it doesn´t even let me see what albums are available. I don´t know whats going on it tells me to check my network connection but I am using this computer to post messages here on the apple support but it doesn´t get in to the itunes pages.

You're not alone but most probably your iTunes is not being hacked.
Just out of curiosity, what release of iTunes are you all using ? I'm seeing that most of people having this problem have the 7.1.1 installed (I do).

Seems i can not log in to my Apple ID account...been trying it for a lot of times.it says when I log in " I am pretending to be...etc and that my account might be at risk? Is my account being hacked for this matter? Need help.thanks!
I have now been able to log into my accounts for IMessage and to ITunes store; however, they are still unresponsive. My messages do not go through and the Store is still laggy as well. I will keep updating this discussion as I am constantly checking so I can use the Cloud and IMessage again.

Why does Calendar keep opening my Mail.app to send me email notifications? I've disabled any settings that look like they could be used to sending me an alert. I've also read that disabling the email alerts in gmail would also help (since I use 3 gmail calendars in addition to my icloud calendar). Any ideas on how I might fix this issue?

My account was hacked and all my credit used to call people all over the world. When that credit ran out they took €35 on the auto recharge that they activated ( I had it turned off)
I only found out I was being attacked when my PC sounded to say I had new messages and I saw they were from paypal for a skype recharge which I had not done.
I changed my passwords on paypal and skype right away and put in a charge dispute with paypal. I contacted Skype expecting to be told that it was under control and that I would be refunded, However instead I was told it was no problem there end and that it was my fault for letting the hackers guess or be given my password. They then fobbed me off and told me that paypal would refund the recharge but my credit I had before would not be refunded.
After looking on here I found that lots of others were also being hacked and fobbed of the same so I went back on the live chat and demanded my money back.
this morning I received this message and a refund of my lost credit.
