Am I the only one who finds iTunes 11 tedious in the extreme? iTunes used to be easy to use but not now. For instance is there a way to delete an entire album from iTunes without deleting each individual song? Small example of my frustration with iTunes as it stands.

As I suspected you cannot just delete an entire album. It is a laborious and time consuming procedure. I got used to most updates but this one is truly awful and not user friendly at all.

No not just you, its rubbish! Nothing is organised in a logical way. I have lost pretty much all of my album art that was ripped at the same time as the CD and now says it can't find album art for the majority of them.

I give up,i have been trying to activate a 3 month subscription for CS6 from Staples and every time i try the code it will not work. I have used the chat live and spent about 3 hours already going nowhere. I do not like talking on the phone to some help desk overseas and the only thing i think left to do is to return the junk.

I tried all that and even took a picture of the numbers and blew them up so a blind person could read them and had 3 others read them off. A simple way to fix the problem is get someone on Adobes staff to find a font that most people can read from whatever product the stick it to.

Hey John,
Not sure if it helps or not, but I know sometimes with codes like that its really hard to tell certain characters apart, O - like in Oscar versus 0 - number and number 1 versus lowercase L like in Lima.
Might test entering it both ways if you have any suspect characters?

Am I the only one who finds ios7 laggy on an Ipad 4? It's unbearable,among the main reasons I went over to apple was because of its smoothness and now I get awful performance from a relatively new ipad 4g and it almost feels like an android?

Will this improve? Will the performance will become at least on par with ios6?

It runs perfectly on my iPad 3. Very often, problems such as yours can be resolved by restoring the device as new using iTunes.

Am I the only one who wishes you could switch the click behavior

so that you can make single click on the physical button bring up the task manager, and double click go to the home screen.
I find after a while the apps I want are already 'running' and going to the home screen is a much less common event.
Perhaps an option in Settings would work

My droid has the sane type of problem. I think there are some apps out there that might help but from what i read 2.2 is suppose to fix that. I Love itunes, however the new version is way too complicated been using it for a month or so now figured i can get use to it but it just really *****. I think there should be an option to what itunes layout you would like to use. i think they should give that option and eveyone will be happy.

Go to the View menu and select "Show Sidebar" and "Show Status Bar". If you don't see the menus, press Control-B. That will restore most of the previous version's look, though not all. You can comment to Apple via their feedback page, if you wish:

Am I the only one who thinks that itunes eq presets do nothing? Bass on my cd walkman is many times more superior to the one i get from ipod or macbook. And those eq presets are useless. I want real bass. I get far better bass on cd walkman with the same headphones. It has been an issue from day one when i got my first ipod when they started making ipods. It stores a lot of music but the quality of bass is so useless. eq are useless. don't start on eq, they are rubbish in comparison to a cd walkman.

They are more noticable on a good set of headphones. However, I never EQ my music, I would rather listen to it how its supposed to sound then just +6 on the low end to get a rumble. I think that's Apple mentality aswell

To be a good citizen, you may wish to contact Warner Brothers and alert them to the error. That will allow them to verify it, and advise the iTunes Store (as well as other music download stores) of the corrections.
You also have the option of advising the iTunes Store directly via their feedback page, but be aware that Apple is unlikely to take a fan's input to overrule info that they received from the label. So contacting WB is probably more effective.

oh whoops i forgot to tell you, i didn't actually find apple's number, although i think they have one.........what i did was i went onto the express lane and when through a series of steps and typed in my phone number and it was SUPER fast. It scared me that as soon as i pressed enter, not more than 30 seconds later, my phone started ringing. But that's the one you have to pay for.....

With all the posts on these forums from people complaining that the Infinity roll-out in their area has been delayed again, I wonder if I'm the only one who repeatedly turns down BT's offers to upgrade to Infinity?
The trouble is that I re-contracted earlier this year to get a better deal on my broadband and phone. In addition to tweaking the package I was on, BT gave me a £6 per month discount on every bill.
At the time, I didn't consider that Infinity was likely to arrive on my exchange any time soon, because it's a small edge-of-town one, and not even upgraded to 21CN yet. Nevertheless, while BT Wholesale have dithered over upgrading the exchange to ADSL2/2+, Openreach have been busily laying fibre and upgrading cabinets. So my exchange now has Infinity, but only 8M ADSL.
I've now had three phone calls from BT salespeople, in addition to the letters and emails, all trying to sell me Infinity. And all expect me to pay the full price with no discount.
Quite frankly, I don't really need more than 8M at the moment, and I'd rather keep the discount. With any luck, the exchange will be upgraded at the end of this year (it's due to be done in December), so I may be getting close to 20M anyway by the time renewal comes around.

For years my average download speed was approx` 5Mb to 6Mb. Then unexpectedly a few weeks back whilst doing a random BT-Speed Test I was surprised (nicely surprised) to find that my connection speed was up to 19Mb and my new download speed was nearly 17Mb. I`d no emails from Bt. The exchange where I live is not in line for infinity for years (according to the engineer I spoke to who works there). But with the connection/download speed I have now, I`m not bothered, plus the new negotiated contract with BT (which runs for another six months yet) I`m a very happy chappy

I do not have a solution, just the same complaint. ***! ! I just used the iTunes store 2 weeks ago and now, after reviewing everything they asked for including ID/Pass/ Account Info etc. I can't even get into the store. I have tried asking at the Mac store and it has all been to no avail. I was perfectly happy with iTunes before all of this ********... seriously what is the issue with iTunes? Some folks have solved this issue by dragging the apps to an external disk, then disconnecting it, and then are able to download. Apparently it can arise if you upgraded from an OS the than Mavericks.
Failing that: Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.

I just bought iLife 08. AM I the only one who hates iMovie 08? WHat happened to the timeline? what happened to the titles? What happened to being able to adjust the audio frame by frame....guess it was just Apple's way to get us to buy Final Cut Express which I just did.....

Most owners of iLife 08 I know use iMovie 06.
iMovie 08 is a wonderful program assuming that you're using it for what it was designed to do, assemble simple videos to share on the Internet.
I use both iMovie 06 and iMovie 08 (iMovie 06 about 90%, iMovie 08 about 10%).
I do find that iMovie 08 is "feature reduced" and not as DVD friendly compared to iMovie 06. iMovie 06 is "timeline based", iMovie 08 is "clip based". The lack of a true timeline in IM08 is hard to get used to for some.
It is true that you can make a DVD using iMovie 08 but I find it to be harder. iMovie 08 has replaced "Share to iDVD" with "Share to media browser". Also iMovie 08 cannot set chapter markers, this has to be done with another program.
iMovie 08 is NOT an upgrade of iMovie 06. It is a completely new application. iMovie 08 is better for absolute beginners that don't want to burn a DVD. Most others will like iMovie 06 for its far greater editing power and ease of making DVDs. (Like creating Chapter Markers and Share to iDVD.)
Remember that Apple includes iMovie 06 as a free download to iLife 08 owners. (They want you to have it.)
