Am trying to update 16 apps, all have frozen, what do I do
Have been trying to update 16 apps on iPad 1, all saying updating, all faded out and frozen, nothing happening, have tried shutting down and restarting, deleted some apps to free up space, still nothing, do not want to delete the apps, what do I do?
Try resetting the iPad by holding the home and power keys down until the Apple logo appears.
If that corrects the freeze, do the updates ONE at a time.

Hi, I am having trouble updating my apps, I have tried one at time and all together but they just keep on whirring away and nothing happens! any ideas woud be appreciated.
Suggest you update all these apps on iTune (computer) and sync them to your iPad.

I have tried to update 6 apps but they are all frozen .
They either say loading or installing but are doing nothing. I would delete them and try to reinstall, but one is no zombies allowed and i don't want to lose the game I. Have built up, can any one help a novice???Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details. -
I am trying to update my apps on my 4s but says there is not enough space. It shows i have 19.3 GB of 25 GB. Also, in my itunes...it shows about a quarter of space on the bar is photos but I took all the photos out. Don't make sense.
It's telling you there's not enough space *on your 4S*. The 25GB you refer to is probably that on iCloud, that's different memory than that on your iPhone. You need to delete video, pictures, apps, or whatever ON THE IPHONE, to make enough room for downloading updates to your apps.

I have 8 apps that, when I tried to update, are now stuck on "installing" in the box that says update. every time I try to update another app, it gets frozen like this as well. I was able to quit all apps, but these, as they do not respond. Any ideas?
Reset your iPad by holding the home and on/off buttons together for 6 or 7 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then update your apps one at a time. Do not start the next app until the current one downloads and finishes installing.

You cannot, all content is tied to the Apple ID used to obtain them.
Content from one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
You need to recover your Apple ID for updates.

I have been trying to update via App Store and every time only with apple software it starts to download and it will says it's calculating time remaining then an error message pops up saying " An error has occurred the request timed out. (102)" I have tried everything , I've been told its my ISP but I have tried using differenet internet to attempt the updates. Like I said all other software updates fine its just apple software

I keep getting an error when trying to update an app- cannot connect to store. I logged out from my account and tried to log back in and got the same error. I am doing all this from my phone since I no longer own a personal computer (only work) since I use iCloud and I tunes match

The nice part is that I work remotely, so I only have to wake up 15 minutes or so before the meeting.... I am trying to update my apps using a new user ID. I have changed it and I can't get it to change in the App Store. It keeps asking me for a password for my old ID??
YOu can't update your apps with the new apple id. All apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchased it, you will need to enter your password from you old id to update.

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts. Ever since she updated to the iPhone 5c, for some reason when she tries to update her apps, it comes up with my AppleID and asks for my password. I cannot figure out why this happening and how to fix this. Please help!
I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

I had been trying to update an app on my IMac and when it came to do it, it said I must close down the app site, in this case WeatherEye. However, I could not close it down and update says it is waiting. I have tried everything I know to get rid of this but it remains even when powering off the machine. Any suggestions?

open /applications/utilities/terminal.app and type: killall "Applicationname without .app"
open /applications/activity monitor.app press on the app thats buggin ya and press quit/force quit

How do I enable my iPod? I am trying to update the apps but when I click "Update All", a pop up "Your Apple ID has been disabled." How do I change it so I can enable my iPod? My iPod is not locked (I know my password), but I just can't figure out how to enable it. Thanks.
