Amarok 2 Playlists Don't Save

Hi
When I make a playlist with the current release of Amarok it all works jsut fine. If, however, after saving the playlist, I quit Amarok and then re-open it none of the changes I have made to the playlist have been saved. This is really annoying.
Can anyone help?

Did you try to reinstall it, or more times ? Did it work earlier ? Don't the playlist contain the changes really ?

After I keep the AI file open, making some modifications which I don't want to save, so I close the file and click "Don't Save".
Even though I clicked that, the file's modification time is changing.
(The modifications I made are not there, so it's not really saving but why the date is changing then?)

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

Personal google search settings don't save; remember me options on web sites like Facebook aren't remembered; Youtube and Flixy videos don't play despite removing/reinstalling/upgrading Firefox several times; upgraded the latest flash plugin today, but no difference, symptoms are black play box with youtube and white box with Flixy. Disbale AV and antimalware makes no difference either.

It only says I can access from Cloud... but what if I want to sync a playlist on my phone?

My playlists don't play in the right order. How can I make it stop shuffling the order of the songs?

I have an ipod nano. I don't know what generation. It's about 1.5 in square with a touch screen. I've had it for several years and never had a problem with it till now. The playlists don't play in order anymore. How do I get control of that back?

Why the "Synchronize with Item" property don't save?

I created that table :-
create table syn (col1 number , col2 number);
and in forms 6i ..... I determinate col1 as the value for "Synchronize with Item" .

and when I test it in runtime , it work correctly and after I saved the data and get out of forms and went to database to ensure the data existing ... I surprised that the data in col2 not existing at all .... wholly empty

why the item (COL2) don't save the data that inserted into it automatically by "Synchronize with Item" property ????

i should use copy property not Synchronize ?That's meant for copying values from master to detail, so it would probably not work as you want within the same record. I think you should set the value of the secondary item in pre-insert and pre-update triggers, depending on what you're actually trying to accomplish?

New playlists don't populate to "music" tab to sync

Since Itunes 9, half my playlists don't appear in my "music" tab for me to sync to my ipod. Can't seem to make it happen. Any suggestions?

Oh, I forgot to mention. On the new computer, in iTunes, I can right-click on my iPhone and select "backup" and it works fine. I don't know if that helps in any way. My main concern is not losing my saved data from all the apps I use.

I just downloaded a few CDs to my iTunes and I tried to sync it up, but it said that my playlists don't exist anymore. Yet, they were still all there when I tried to sync it. Any help would be graciously appreciated!

Your iPod preference must have got set to sync specific playlists rather than all and there are no playlists selected. At any rate, if you had been syncing playlists, go to that screen and reselect the playlists then resync.

Yes, I will....the next time it happens. In the past it has happened to AOL a number of times (which is usually my home page), as well as some Yuku message boards I visit...The History Channel A&E, Spike TV, all at various times.
Unfortunately, this morning when it happened to one of the Yuku message board, I went directly to the tool bar, cleared my cache and cookies, without capturing a screenshot. Now , everything I've bookmarked is working properly but I will tell you it's a problem that I only experience on Firefox and not any other browsers, even when I've imported bookmarks from Firefox. It's been a fairly consistent problem for the past 6 months or so where I manually uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox (my preferred browser) and again, manually started bookmarking my sites all over again. It seems that when it happens most of the icons, graphics and photographs are missing, leaving me with only disorganized text.
The next time that it occurs, I will take a screen shot and forward it to you.

The same problem I've seen in other forums, but the solution is always for PC and not Mac. My bookmarks don't save (or when I try to save a new one in the toolbar, everything that comes after it disappears) and history just doesn't work.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Is there a shortcut to 'don't save' in microsoft word?

This applies to text edit and microsoft word. Whenever the window pops up about saving I just want to know if there is a shortcut command to say don't save. I know this is lazy because I don't want to use my trackpad but I just want to see if there's a shortcut.

Yes there is a shortcut.
On pre-Lion Macs Command-D worked for everything.
From Lion and newer Command-Delete works with Apple programs such as TextEdit and Command-D works with other programs such as MS Word.
On some keyboards the Delete key may be labelled Backspace.

That is no long an option and it also seems impossible to create a short cut in software like Keyboard Maestro because the dialog location depends on the window size. Turn it off and stick it in a cup of rice for 1-2 days, making sure it is completely submerged in the rice. This will draw out the moisture.
Works like a charm.
