Amazon AWS FMS - missing license key?

I have set up an Amazon AMI FMS instance which is working fine - but is behaving like a development edition.
When launching instances of my app from the Administration Console, I can only launch 5 or 6. After this, I see the instance name in the list, but in LiveLog there are no trace statements, and no log file is produced for that instance. It looks to me very much like I just ran out of NetConnections, as each instance needs to create proxy NetConnections to another app on the same server.
I ported this app straight from one of my own (Win98) FMS3.0 installations. I'm running the Administration Console remotely from the Win server.
I'm pretty used to the conf structure and files, and have checked several times. Maybe there's a new setting in 4.0, or maybe I'm just missing a license key...

I managed to resolve it. My app was built on FMS3.0, and when I ran it on FMS4.0 only 3 instances would start up. So I rebuilt the Application.xml from the template in the FMS4.0 conf, setting the process scope to app, and distributing over instances. All working fine now.
Still a great product.

Missing license keys in adminui. Has anyone experienced this before?

We have recently installed LiveCycle server into our Test environment. However, for some reason when we go Home > About, no licenses show up. We do not experience this in our other env (DEV, APOC) where liveCycle was installed. Here is a screenshot.
When we run our workflow processes in this env, they work fine. New processes are able to reference the barcoded forms.Decode call that we just installed. Similarly, our external EAI server is able to call the LiveCycle web services with no problem.
Has anyone else experience this issue? Should I be concerned?

What do you see in the licensing section of the landing page once you log into the adminui?
Can you send me your server log file and I'll take a look for any related issues?

Missing Crystal reports License Key for (CrystalReports11_5_NET_2005.msi)

Is there any way to retrieve a missing Crystal reports license key from a server install?
we are currently in the process of relocating a server app that has (CrystalReports11_5_NET_2005.msi) installed and the License key for the product is missing... Any help would be good as the project to relocate "Interplan" the application that uses Crystal reports has halted due to the missing License key...

As up to my best knowledge it is not possible to get the product key from server install.
You could get from the development box where the product is installed.
If you have issue with Crystal reports .Net SDK's.
Post your question in Crystal Reports .NET SDK forum.
That forum is monitored by qualified technicians and you will get a faster response there. Also, all .NET SDK queries remain in one place and thus can be easily searched in one place.

Can we use same license key for more than one FMS server? If we use one key for other server then what will be the effect on the FMS.
Also one more think can we use one license key of one version to other version? For example can we use license key of FMS 3.0 for FMS 3.5.
How to upgrade from FMS 2.0.5 to FMS 3.0 and may we know the cost of upgradation?

As far as cost is concerned - i think you can check that on Adobe site. I am not sure whether site will show upgrade from 2.0.5 to 3.0 as its little older version upgrade.

I downloaded student version of LR from amazon and the order has a license key but no product key. The verification process asks for product key?

I downloaded the student version of Lightroom 5 from Amazon and cannot complete the verification process. The order has a "license key" and they ask for "product code". The license key on my order will not work as the product code??? What should I do?

When I purchased the student version, everything worked the way it should. The code that was in the package was the code I needed to obtain my serial number. I have not purchased the student version directly from Adobe or anywhere else as a download. You will probably have to contact Amazon or Adobe customer service to have them help you get this straightened out.

License Key Missing

I bought a laptop with a CS5 Master copy already installed. All worked fine until recently about a month ago when the individual tools started asking me for a license key. But I never got a key to begin with. What can I do to recover the license that was on the laptop or generate another fresh one? I am running an old CS5 Master Collection. Thanks.

If you purchased the computer new and it included a CS5 Master Collection and it did not come with materials/information needed for reinstalling it then you need to contact the vendor that sold you the machine. If it happens to be a Dell, they usually provide access to pre-installed software thru their web site.
If you purchased the machine as a second-hand machine then chances are you did not purchase CS5 along with it unless the seller formally transferred the license to you, in which case you would have to have been given the materials/infomation needed for reinstalling. Again, resolution would need to be dealt with thru the seller.

I would like to write some programs but I get the error I need a developer id. Therefore I read all the topics about getting a license and the developer key and got the email containing the following:

Problem with obtaining license key#

I purchased the Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium package with a student discount on Amazon. I was told that I had to download the trial package until I receive an email with my license key. How long does that take?
There is a number that looks like a license key inside the package, however, it does not have enough numbers and was rejected. Who do I need to contact about this?

FMS 2 License Stack issue

Due to increased traffic on our FMS we need to stack another
license. We have 2 licenses on 2 servers. We would like to take the
license from server 2 which is not in use and stack with the
license already on server 1.
When I try and add the serial via the console it invalidates
both licenses and switches to developer edition. I have checked the
admin log and this shows the following error - "Volume licenses can
not be mixed with any other kind. Switching to developer edition."
If I remove either serial key the remaining key becomes valid again
and so switches back to 150 connections mode.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Graham. After finally getting through to there
technical support I was able to speak to someone who looked into
the license keys and found that the first one we purchased was a
volume licence. They then issued us with a new License key which
enabled us to stack with no problems.
Now running some tests on FMS3 will deffinatly look to use
this soon.

Need license key

Recently during BIOS upgrade my Windows 8.1 installation for Aspire E5-411G-P717 notebook was damaged and recovery would not be allowed because the windows install partition was blocked. So, I resorted to the only known way to recover by using GPARTED to delete the partitions and doing a fresh Win8.1 reinstall. Windows 8.1 now asks me to update the license key but the computer never came with a sticker with a license key. So, I'd like Acer's help with this. I contacted Acer outlet at Amazon (the seller) for help but they don't keep any such information.
So, I'm stuck - I paid for the win8.1 x64 license when I purchased my computer but now I don't have the license key to register the windows with Microsoft and use it fully because some Win8.1 features are only available after it's registered.
How can Acer help? I'm sure I'm not the first customer with this issue given that Acer has had BIOS upgrade issues (I've been following the forums on Acer) and Acer does not provide Win8.1 license info on a sticker like it used to be.

No machine released with Windows 8 from vendor will come with a Windows 8 License sticker underneath, regardless of the brand. This is one of Microsoft's security measures to reduce piracy. This is a new Microsoft initiative. The Product key is electronically stored in the firmware of your mainboard. So if you need to reset or reinstall Windows 8, you don't need to hunt for the product key. It's automatically applied and activated. That's certainly a plus, especially when the numbers on those product key stickers wear out or are just too small to easily read. You need to get the recovery media and restore the same OEM version of windows shipped wiht your computer to activate windows without product key. Error when adding Amazon AWS account to CAL

Recently I've registered for CAL and would like to try SAP HANA Developer edition. I followed tutorial about how to deploy SAP HANA using CAL and Amazon AWS account. One of the steps was to add AWS account (using public and secret keys) to CAL account. When I'm trying to do it, I'm receiving following error "An error from Amazon Web Services occurred: AMAZON : null". My AWS account is valid, but this is a corporate account and I'm not the root user. Does anybody know how to solve this?

could you please make sure, if you prepared your AWS account, as described in the FAQ page:
(the IAM roles setup is mandatory for using CAL) and your credit card should be provided in AWS account.

My shortcut keys on CS6 are gone. I get a message to reinstall CS6. I would rather not go through the hell of getting the license key for Adobe. Any options?

I get the message that my shortcut keys have gone missing.... And the message says to reinstall Photoshop CS6. I would rather burn my arms off than go through the hell of reinstall with Adobe's horrible licensing process. Please help me avoid this! I tried system restore on my Windows PC to no avail. Any solutions or downloads I might try?

Not sure what you mean when you say "Adobe's horrible licensing process". If you have a valid license key code you type it in and you are done. The program, licensing system, checks that key against the online system and if it is valid and not installed on more than 2 computers at the same time you don't have to do anything else.
If the version of CS6 you are using is an Upgrade version then you will need to type in a valid license key from a qualified previous version. Again once that is done and it is checked against the online license system you are done.
As to your problem with the shortcut keys going away I "Think" that is a problem with your computer more than with Photoshop. Some how the file that holds the default and user edited keyboard shortcuts has become corrupted or you have somehow deleted it. If it became corrupted that is a Sure Sign you have a hardware problem. More than likely some type of hard drive problem, the drive might be on it's last legs, it is failing and will need to be replaced.
One thing I suggest you do from this point forward is make regular backups of your complete system. Like doing it every week if not more. That way when, NOT IF, you have similar problem you can restore your system from the most current backup. And if it is a hardware failure, like the drive going bad, you can restore your system to that state once the hardware problem is fixed.
If you do have a hardware problem, like the hard drive is dying, reinstalling PS won't stop it from happening again.
