Lost my way in the garden and applied for the Amazon store card today. Was approved for ICL of $1400. Don't know if that is above or below avg ICL for this card? I also signed up for the Prime membership as I freq buy items on Amazon and really need the 2 day free shipping as I live in Alaska. Well anyway back to gardening!! I really need to have more will power than this.

Aloha folks!I was going to tend to the garden for awhile but while i was in there i got bitten by the bug. I do alot of shopping on amazon.In fact, other than groceries, majority of the things i buy are from amazon.I was very hesitant to apply for their store card as i was rejected for that same card 7 months ago, and rejected for their amazon visa by chase a few days ago. But the bug kep biting me and i filled out the app and pressed the button and closed my eyes. Opened my eyes, and i was approved for their store card for $900! Happy happy joy joy! An hour later......I was in walmart and was asked if i was interested in applying for their cards. I read here that chances of approval and higher cl was better if you applied in store. I got kinda spooked because i got declined a while back so i passed on the oportunity. When i got home, it was eating away at me. Did i miss a good oportinity? Will the extra inquiries hurt my score?and i decided to give it a shot.I filled out the online app, hit the button and did my customary eye close ritual.When i opened my eyes...approved for $1100! Maybe i shoul have applied in store after all. Maybe higher cl. Yeah i know..Not the biggest credit limits, but for a guy just starting out again, im super happy and grateful! Im glad i found this forum. Ive learned so much. Now its back to the garden.Someone please shut the gate and dont let me out.

You should try the chat feature on the accounts during business hours. They will soft pull CLI requests and can get them bumped up. Just tell them that you got the card recently for specific purchases and need a little more credit to make the purchase. Its super fun.How often can this be done? Every 90 days?

Denied for amazon store card

I think it's a denial. I app'd for walmart yesterday and got a SL of $700. Tried for amazon last night and got "Thank you for applying, you'll receive a decision by mail in 7-10 days."
Is this a denial? Does it matter that I app'd for walmart and amazon on the same day?

I love TU because every couple of months an INQ falls off. I have to admit that I have not paid enough attention to see if they pull FICO TU 8 or FICO TU 4. Don't understand it but my FICO 8 TU is 655 but FICO TU4 is 675. Look at the letter and see which score shows up. That way when you apply for some more Synchrony cards then you will know. However, I'm from Texas too and they pulled EX when I applied for Lowe's and also EX for Toys R Us.

Trying to Decide between Amazon Prime Store Card vs Discover It

Hey guys, I plan on making a large purchase on Amazon soon (and of course the holidays will be here before we know it.) - so either of these two cards would be beneficial for me with their 5% offers. The Discover It's Double Cash promotion is tempting, but I'm not sure I would be approved. I have 3-4 inquiries on each bureau from earlier this year. My scores are below in my sig. I have old baddies, but most fall off next year. I think I'd have a better chance at the Amazon Prime Store card by Synchrony. I've been getting mailers from Walmart (by Synchrony) pretty often - and they pull Transunion, which is my highest score at the moment... but of course the Discover is a "better" card, esp with the double cash promotion. My only other question is if I should wait until my new limit with Capital One hits the bureaus before I apply for either. I combined two of my cards, so I now have an 8k limit - the highest I have on my own. But then again, the new app (and the other card being closed) might knock my scores down when they hit - so it might be a double edged sword. I'll have a new Venture One reporting also - only a 3k limit. I'd love any advice! I was also tossing around the idea of apping for a Venture simply to see if I could get a higher limit/my first Visa Sig card - but I'm not sure it'd be worth it. I'm happy with my existing limits, but would love the Visa Sig benefits that I could actually make use of. I plan to garden for two full years after this, so then again maybe it might be worth the try since the inquiries would fade by then. Decisions, decisions.

Since U stated either card would be beneficial, I dont really see much of a dilemma/downside (as long as U dont go in anticipating a certain limit). Neither one is necessarily better than the other - it really depends on which is going to be more advantageous. Discover is the more flexible of the two but again this depends upon spending habits. Also waiting for other cards to report b4 app'ing isnt going to give U anymore of an advantage in that regard and since your scores are fine you're good to app sooner than later. And if U can find a way to make Wally work for U I'd pull the trigger on that too since its a card that can def grow with U quickly (totally up to U however). Best of luck whichever way u decide to proceed. As for this...

Adobe is currently doing a number of usability tests for various products.We're looking for participants for a brief (~1 hour) online work observation and interview. Compensation will be a $100 Amazon gift card.
The study I'm working on involves users who are in the beginning/novice stages of learning InDesign. I'll ask participants to perform several tasks related to page numbering. The study will be conducted over the telephone and Adobe Connect (software for screen sharing).
For the study, participants must meet the following criteria:
- some experience with InDesign CS4
- have any version of Creative Suite 4 or InDesign CS4 installed on a computer that can be connected to the Internet
- ability and willingness to install and use Acrobat Connect on the same computer as the above software
- a 90-minute block of free time between 10:00 and 16:00 Pacific Time (GMT-8) on a weekday August 5-14.

How do I download an app that is over 50mb via itunes on my computer with a app store card that has already been redeemed

I was trying to download plants vs zombies on my iphone but it wouldnt let me saying that the app was over 50mb and that you needed to install it using itunes on your computer. So I tried to do the same thing on my computer by using my app store card to cover the purchase but as the code had already been redeemed it wouldnt let me. Can I get the app using my already reddemed app store card or is that not possible? I will be very grateful for any suggestions or help!

If you have already purchased it on your iphone, and it simply wasn't able to download, then open itunes on your computer and click Store>Check for Available Downloads

I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.
