Amazon Universal Wish List Button isn't working in Firefox 3.6.15

I upgraded to Firefox 3.6.15. It kept crashing. My husband noticed there were compatibility problems with the amazon universal wish list button in the browser. He uninstalled it. I downgraded Firefox. 1 week later, Firefox upgraded itself back to the new version. Now I can't get the amazon wish list button back. I've downloaded it 7 times! And the button won't show in the browser. I can get the Amazon toolbar, but not the little button up in the browser. I'm very mad.

Look at some of the reviews below; the UI is different on every one. Is there a difference in the Win 7/Vista and XP UI? Who knows at this point. The UI in the first one looks like your UI in that it has the typical Windows Title Bar with the Min/Max/Close buttons on the Title Bar while the others do not have a Title Bar. Maybe there is something unique to XP that forces the UI to have a Title Bar. If you place the tabs on top, does the Firefox button appear on the left end of the same bar with the tabs?
For the "switch-to-tab" feature, the second review, third paragraph says:

Amazon universal wish list addon is installed but does not display.

My Amazon universal wish list button has disappeared, probably when I last upgraded Firefox. I have just reinstalled it but the button does not appear in Firefox. I installed it twice and it appears in my list of addons and in the list of extensions in the Troubleshooting Information. How can I get the button to appear?

Try to rename the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder to cert8.db.old or delete the cert8.db file to remove intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file. 
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previous intermediate certificates. 
Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send such a certificate.
If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

How can I install the Amazon Universal Wish List ?

I want to install the Amazon wish list button . This makes it possible to add items from any site to ones Amazon wish list. However , in order to do this one must " drag " the button on the wish list site to the bookmark icon. My knowledge being limited I do not know how to " drag" anything on an iPad !

ITunes wish list button problem

Using my iPad mini to browse the iTunes Store: some albums and individual songs have Wish List button showing up on the Up-Arrow-Box button. But more do not, and I cannot find any other way to put items on the Wish List. Any suggestions? Or should I use a note pad and write down what I may want to buy?

Rice is hit or miss but if you can (assuming you live in a home with a furnace) sit it up with the speakers facing down on an air flow register for about 10 minutes. The heat from the furnace will not harm the sensitive components and will dry the phone out nicely including the display layers. DO NOT USE a hair blower! The iPhone is capable of drying out much more easily than phones with removable backs as the iPhone while sumbermeged in liquid (for a short time) will take on limited moisture hence can be dried and keep on keeping on. My dauhter dropped her iPhone 5 in a toilet and it was fine after spending 24 hours in rice and 10 minutes on the air register while the furnace was producing heat.
One last thing. DO NOT POWER ON the phone until the drying out efforts have been completed and certainly DO NOT plug it in.

(1) Open the Mail app.
(2) Press the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider shows.
(3) Immediately release the Sleep/Wake button and press the Home button. Hold until the red slider disappears and then release the Home button.
(4) Now try out the Home button again.

Half of my lock button isn't working.

I bought my iPhone 5 on December 26th and it has been in an otterbox since I bought it, and I have never dropped it. If you tap the back of my phone right about the apple logo you can hear a slight rattling noise and the right half of my lock button isn't working. But if I press to the left of the middle of it, it does work. I have Applecare, the one problem is the nearest Apple store is 2 hours away. What should I do?

You need to get the on/off button repaired.
You can try connecting the iPhone to a power source which should power the iPhone on.

Forward and back buttons don't work in Firefox but do everywhere else.

Make sure that you set those buttons to the default action in your mouse driver software (Control Panel > Mouse or specific Intellimouse driver software).
