Amber update for Lumia 620 in India

Hi I am a proud Lumia 620 user from Chennai, India. I have been constantly checking your website (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/wp8-availability-in-asia-pac...) for the availability of Amber update for my phone. This site shows that the update is avaiable for my model but when i check in Phone Update in my phone it is not showing any update available for my phone. Please let me know when the update be available for my phone.

Guys,
If your device is having FW version 1030.6407.1308.0001 , then it won't show update notification (I don't know why).
On the other hand, If you got an FW version 1030.6407.1308.0002, your phone will show the amber update notification if you check it through phone updates (in settings menu).
There is a way to get around this:
Get to Nokia Care and update to FW version 1030.6407.1308.0002 or amber FW 3046.0000.1329.2001

Amber update for Lumia 720

When we get amber updates for Lumia 720, in India? Do we need to install fm or it comes along with the software itself? Any updates for transferring music files via Bluetooth?

you do not need to install anything for FM radio, it will be in Music+Video hub once you get the update

Amber update for lumia 820

My 820 is showing as updated to the amber software but i am still not able to download certain apps. The appstore message says i need to update to amber?????
Any ideas? I'm on an 820 on O2 in the uk....

Amber update for lumia 520

I received microsoft update yesterday, without Nokia Amber update. Do they come in one package or separately? If so, when should I expect the Amber update?

Usually they come together, but sometimes one is delayed for various technical reasons. You should get the remaining update soon. You can try checking with your local Nokia Support in case they have more specific information.

Amber update for Lumia 720T. Won't be available?

I didn't find 720T (the China Mobile version) on the Amber update Availability list. Does that mean it won't be updated? any reason for that? technical?or because of the cooperation with China Mobile?

Lumia Black Update for Lumia 620

It has been February waiting for update
In India, i guess only 620 is only phone that has not got this update. :'(
By what time can we expect the update :\
Nokia support site also is struck on same since jan 31. No change

you can see that the Lumia Black update is indeed available for the Lumia 520. However, its roll-out is done in stages so you may not receive the update yourself for another week or so. please keep checking back every day on the phone itself to see if the update is there.

Go to settings-->extras+info .. What do you see at the top ? Does it show you 'Lumia Amber' as seen in the attachment or not ? If yes, you already have the latest update.
BTW, the Application you have mentioned only updates the 'System applications' and not the Phone software ...which can be updated only thru settings-->phone update-->check for updates. If it shows any availability of update then follow the instructions displayed..

Problem in updating my Lumia 620 to black

Hi,
Black update is available in my country for Lumia 620. But my phone is not getting black update. Whenever I check for update it says your phone is up to date.

@rdg4444 your phone is a Malaysia variant and after checking Availability in Asia Pacific, I can see that the 620 black update is not in distribution yet for Malaysia variant. The "Coming Soon" in availability page means that it's approved and will be in distribution in a few days.

Update queries (Lumia 620 Black Update)

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone on here knew how long it should take between the update geting to the carrier and them pasiing on the update to the consumers?
I ask because mysef and others are STILL without the Update 3/Black update for the 620 ( in the UK), and are increasingly becoming annoyed (putting it lightly - don't want to get banned from the forum already) at this fact, especially since we know it is the carriers fault (I won't name and shame the carrier since it's in the link!)

The link above shows the interactions that have been made between those of us waiting for the update, and those at my carrier. In short, on the 2nd April, the foum dudes passed it on to those who deal with the updates. 8 days later (10th April, 3 weeks ago), the next reply was that they were in the latter stages of testing, and should be out "within the next few weeks". There have been NO updates since, hint the fact we are getting increasingly annoyed.
Surely, the fact they claim they were in the latter stages of testing 3 weeks ago mean we should have the update by now, especially since all other 620's in the UK had the update in March.

To make sure you don’t miss out on the latest updates, on the start screen, swipe left, tap Settings > phone update, and make sure the "Tell me when updates are available for my phone" check box is ticked.
