AMD Radeon HD 7400M driver problem - causing lag

hi, I got the Windows 10 upgrade on my HP Pavilion DV6 6053ea and I noticed it taking much longer than usual to boot up and also to restore from sleep. I get a black screen for over a minute before things appear on screen. I disabled the AMD Radeon HD 7400M in device manager and boot up was far faster. I went to HP: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-dv6-6000-entertainment-notebook-pc-series/5048664/model/5081030#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930O2 and installed the AMD driver but it only crashed my laptop and I keep getting a C++ error. Where can I get the best driver that will enable my laptop to run at full speed ?

The link that you provided shows that there are no Windows 10 drivers available for your product at this time. I recommend using the Go back to an earlier build option, in your System Settings:HP Notebook PCs - Upgrading to Windows 10
Once you are back to your original Operating System, check to see if you are experiencing the same issue. If not, then you may consider holding off on the Windows 10 update for a few weeks, until drivers can be updated. Please let me know if this information was helpful by clicking the thumbs up below.

AMD Radeon R9 M275 Driver on my Y40-70 is Messed Up

After upgrading to Windows 10, I kept receiving a an "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR" blue screen message less than 60 seconds after logging in. Replacing the driver for my AMD Radeon R9 M275 graphics card with the one provided on Lenovo's website fixed that issue, but the graphics cars is still having problems. Now it has started crashing Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 upon starting that program. Upgrading the driver through Windows Update causes the same "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR" blue screen message, so that is not an option.

Yeah, the explanation was a bit tricky, so hopefully pictures will help. I'll do it in steps again.
The exact card I was using:

1) I connected the 6+2 connector below to the graphics card's 6 pin power slot. The fans were spinning at a normal speed but the card wasn't recognised and PC booted with integrated graphics.

2) To supply the power to the 8 pin power port of the graphic's card, I used the molex power cable from my power supply and connected a molex to PCI express 6 pin adapter, then connected a 6 to 8 pin adapter which went in the power port.

4) Finally the entire cable connected to the PSU and the 8 pin port of the graphic's card:

Which of course resulted in the system not being powered at all! So if the PSU is powerful enough, how am I supposed to get power to the 8 pin port on the card? Can I do this without adapters? As I guess this is where I'm going wrong.

AMD Radeon HD 6770 driver

I have a Pavilion dv6-6B40EZ (Product No. : QG789A#UUZ) with an AMD Radeon HD 6770 and a Intel Core i7-2670Qm and i'm working with windows seven 64 bits.
Today, i try to update my graphics drivers and i download the folowing exe from the Amd site. However, when i launche the program, it fails and i receive this :

The download from AMD won't work because the switchable graphics feature is dependent on your using the HP custom modified driver and software package. Somewhere in the fine print at the AMD download center you will see that in a disclaimer.
The following is the latest softpaq version available that is compatible with your notebook.

Do not install the Intel and AMD driver softpaqs seperately. Doing that will cause the switchable graphics feature to no longer function.

AMD RADEON GRAPICHS HD 8750M PROBLEM

Hey, last week i just bought a new laptop , Lenovo G510. I installed windows 7 (32 bit) and everything works fine , excepts my graphic cip (AMD RADEON GRAPHICS 8750M). In DXDIAG menu it says my graphic cip is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600. And when i try to entry in Graphics Proprietis it says I need to install framework net 4.0 but i cant , it givs me a error. Can u guys give me a website or something where i can download my graphic cip ? Games are working horrible , i mean some games that i had install need at least a pentium 2.5 ghz processor and i have I5 and this graphic cip and they are working horrible , if someone could help me I would appreciate it. Need updated AMD Radeon HD 6630M driver for Windows7

I am trying to update my new Macmini running Windows 7 64bit, with updated AMD Radeon HD 6630M drivers and Catalyst.
Everything is working well, but I can't install AMD Catalyst Mobility, as the version from AMD says that my computer doesn't contain the proper graphics.
Note: the reason I need the Catalyst is to adjust the image on my 55" LCD screen, as it is not streched to cover the entire screen.
Any help??

I used this driver package too, but I had after the installation of the AMD Drivers a Black Screen, and I could'nt read anything.
Then I solve this problem!
And here are my steps:
1. Download the driver package http://leshcatlabs.net/index.php/2012/11/catalyst-12-10-whql-unifl-for-amdintel-graphics/
2. I have installed it and I made a desktop-icon for the amd Installer.
3. Then I go to the Device Manager and then I clicked with the right-click on the ATi Radeon HD5650 and then I choose
"Update Driver Software...". After this then comes a windows with two messages. I have chosen the Second One "Browse my computer for driver software". Then put in the location of the driver from the installed downloaded package. The Standard location is: C:\Drivers\Catalyst_12.10_WHQL_UnifL\Packages\Drivers\Display\W86A_INF
4. Then click on "Next" and then comes a message that a driver wants to get installed, install it.
5. After this then comes the "Black Screen". Now take your finger and press the Display Change Button: |O|
Press the button 3 times and press Enter after this if you don't see your desktop do this step again.
6. Then If you have a picture do step 5 again and now you must look very well because now the desktop is very dark and you can't make the brightness better.
7. After this close all windows but before you could maybe see that the driver for the ATi Graphic Card is successfully installed.
8. Now click on the desktop-icon which called "Run Catalyst 12.10 WHQL UnifL Installer"
9. Run this Installer and then install it and don't make an update. Now choose a "user defined" installation and check if
all important things are would be installed (so far if you can read it).
10. Click on Next and Installation begins. While or after the installation you get now your desktop with a correct
brightness.

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver Problem

Okay so I play a game called "The Sims 4", and if any of you are familiar with it then you know what I am talking about when I say I am testing mods out. I was doing this for a couple hours and came across some bad mods, so I delete them. Well I put a few more mods in my game and went in, everything seemed fine, then got out. When I went to go back in an error message came up saying "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." I then proceeded into my game which did not work. So I came onto this site to update my driver and downloaded the "AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver". There was two options both the same name and same description one was a few megabite larger. After then I restarted my computer tried my game out and it still did not work. I then took out the mods I put into my game right before this all went haywire, and my game worked....BUT VERYYYY LAGGY! I was so frustrated with this that I shut down my computer hoping a miricle would happen next time I turned it on....only to turn it on this morning and that SAME error message came up! SO NOW WHAT? How to I unistall the graphics driver I downloaded (becuase I think its making my game laggy and it did not solve the initial problem.

Firstly:: I really have run this Utility(amdcleanuputility) to remove all components of the prvious installation of AMD Radeon and Mobile Inte Graphics.
I was propmted that tool will do as it is shown below in the screen shot.
I agreed. Then, it completed. Is 'AMD cleanup utility' recommended by you?
Then, the graphics adapters in the device manager became as follows:
Secondly: I think that it is now the point to reinstall AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver_Software Packaging Numbr(SP55092)_Driver Version 8.882.2.3000.
Thirdly: Moreover, I would be saying that I lost the audio on my System once the (amdcleanuputility) has completed, although its icon is still intact(screen shot below)
Must I need to reinstall IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver_Sp55094_Version6.10.6345.0????
Finally:: in your link about downloading the drivers for my product name. I found Driver-Graphics (5) . However, all what I need is the finall one which is an already-downloaded file with me. Could you please let me know what about the other four graphics drivers????????

Msi Amd Radeon HD 7850 blackscreen problem

In games only (i play Hitman Absolution now) i run everything on ultra fps is just fine,just i get blackscreen with sound loop and i only need to hard shutdown,its randomly happens,my pc is new,1 month old,what should i do? i've updated graphic drivers to newest,i tested with disabling sound in control panel for 30 minutes,and nothing happens,maybe its sound i dont know,i found so many problems on internet like mine

I have a win 7 ultimate x64 version. After I instal hd6370 driver my browser firefox stop working (when I opening mozzila i can;t type ,just not responding at any action than minimize and close) . Also whit ather browser i have problemes :
- when i wach youtube image freezes
- ather times i can't scrooling the page
I mentioned that is not i flash problem, becouse after i uninstall hd6370 everything cames back to normal.
What I supposed to do? HELLPPPP!

MSI AMD RADEON HD 6970 Lightning Problem

Hi guys i was wondering if you can help me. I am fairly certain i have a problem with my graphics card when playing a particular game (Football Manager 2012) via Steam.
On occasion the game will freeze entirely, along with my keyboard/mouse etc, and sometimes it will rectify itself and carry on as normal or it will stay frozen resulting in me having to do a hard reset.
I have updates my drivers, all windows updates etc but still have this problem. I have double checked with the game developers who are adamant its not them and I'm at a loss to be honest.
Please can someone help me? I Can play CIV5 and watch movies etc fine its just this game. Specs are below:

This driver installs the drivers for both the AMD and Intel GPU's.
Never install the standalone Intel HD graphics driver or allow Windows Update to install a newer Intel graphics driver, or the switchable graphics in your notebook will no longer function.

when I check, both my intel hd3000 and AMD cards is working fine on the device manager.
but can not use the AMD on games.

As I stated before you have to manually install the W8.1 driver following the steps I provided.
You close out of any error windows after you run the W8.1 file.
I have given this method of installation to several forum members who all reported it worked perfectly.

Actualicé mi laptop sony vaio VPCSB45FL de windows 7 a Windows 10 y no funciona la tarjeta grafica AMD Radeon HD 6470M, descargue e instale nuevamente el driver desde la pagina de sony pero windows 10 al reiniciarse instala automaticamente el driver para la tarjeta amd radeon hd 7400M el cual no funciona adecuadamente no puedo acceder a los juegos que normalmente ejecuto en el pc como por ejemplo fifa 15 y tampoco funciona el selector para activar o desactivar la targeta grafica AMD; alguien conoce alguna solucion para este inconveniente?Muchas Gracias

Muchas gracias por tu respuesta, yo tambien ya intente con todos los drivers y ninguno funciona, lo unico sería esperar si sony se anima a desarrollar la actualizacion del driver para windows 10 pero parece que no van a brindar soporte para muchas computadoras lo cual me parece una falla muy grande ya que mi laptop tiene los requerimientos de sobra para poder correr windows 10 por este motivo no compraria otra vez una computadora sony, por ahora en el foro de AMD me recomendaron instalar leshcat drivers que de pronto podrian funcionarhttp://leshcatlabs.net/; esta es la guia http://leshcatlabs.net/manual_chm/segun eso habria que instalar los ultimos drivers de intel y amd para que funcione sin deshabilitar el switch.

AMD Radeon HD 7570

I am looking for an update to my AMD Radeon HD 7570 driver that I bought with my HP Pavilion HPE last year. From googling, it seems this is an OEM card and driver made by HP with no AMD support... that means the latest AMD updates do not work for this device, and HP will have to update the drivers.
So 2 questions:
1. Is my understanding above correct? Will I have to wait solely for HP to update that driver? Or is there some workaround to use AMD software to do it. Many games do not work correctly without the latest drivers, so if this is indeed the case, I do wish HP would make this known upfront, I definitely would not have opted for this machine with this understanding.
2. Is there an ETA for an update?

You are correct in your first question.
It is a proprietary card made by AMD for HP, and it uses a custom driver that will only work on that card, and it is the only driver that will work on that card.
Since this is a consumer to consumer forum, no one here can answer your second question, but my opinion is that HP will never release an updated driver for the graphics card.
If you want to ask someone at HP if they will ever update the graphics driver for the 7570, please feel free to submit your question to the HP executive team at the link below.
