AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series

My Laptapo working on Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, and I can'u undestand why. I already tryed so many things, whatched tousands of posts here and still can't find the solution.
I don't really know which series of laptop I have
HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC
because in this hp web support I find only this : http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-search/search-results.html?ajaxpage=1#/page=1&/qt=HP%20Pavilion%20g7%20N...

Install the following AMD HD Graphics driver softpaq
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-113258-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
Do not install the Intel graphics driver seperately. Doing that will cause the switchable graphics feature to stop operating.
Don't update the BIOS if there is not a dire need.

  • AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series Driver for windows 7 x64

    Hi everybody,
    I have an
    HP Pavilion g6-2297se Notebook PC
and Iim going to  reinstalled on it Windows 7  Ultimate (64bit). Thanks to this forum I have found all the drivers that I need except the drivers for AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series.
and  I'd like to know the best order for install  driverse  on the system
    Can someone help me?

    Hi:
You can use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the g6t-2000 on yours.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE FILES FROM THIS MODEL
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5278...
Recommended order of installation for the first 4:
    1. Intel chipset installation utility and reboot.
    2. AMD graphics driver and reboot.  Note:  This installs the drivers for both the AMD and Intel GPU's.
    3. IDT Audio driver and reboot.
    4. Realtek ethernet driver and reboot.
Then you can install whatever else you need in any order you want.

  • GPU not enabled for AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series. Latest drivers have been installed. Should it work?

  • Problem with amd radeon hd 7600M in windows 7

I recently purchased a dell inspiron 15 3521 with intel hd 4000 nd  amd radeon hd 7600M. The problem is when i play any high graphics game, a continous strem of hoizontal lines appear on the screen from top to bottom. Also i am not able to get
the catalyst control center options in the pull down menu. In addition to that, the real radeon driver installed is 7600M series. But when i check online, it says 7670M series /
Does anyone have any solutions regarding above ?

    Hi,
Just as it is mentioned in the post, playing a high graphics game calls for high performance graphics card, I suggest to go to the official site of this game for detail information.
Besides, I suggest to download and install the newest driver from AMD official site and check the result:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 crashes with not finding a capable play module on a windows desktop with a AMD Radeon R9 200 series board.

    16 Gig memory
AMD Radeon R9 290 Graphics Board with the latest drivers and Bios.
On starting Premiere I get the (as I noticed quite frequent appearing) error message that Premiere cannot find a capable play module and the suggestion to update my video drivers.
I tried everything I found in this forum or on the web:
    Installed the latest drivers
Run the program as an administrator
    Updated the Graphics board Bios
    Updated Premiere CS6
Started Gpusniffer in CMD-mode to find out what board it found and added that to the cuda_supported_cards.txt in the Premiere directory.
All to no avail. The app will simply not start.

As I invested a lot in the CS6 Master Collection I am not considering an update tot the CC version, also because the same problem occurs in that version too.
I would be much obliged if someone has an answer that truly will work.  This problem costed me the best part of two days’ work and fouled up my workflow considerably.

    ==========
I tried to go into display settings and disable the Intel card. (this caused low resolution which is unexceptable)
    ==========
This makes me think it's using that graphics "card" ( probably built into mobo ? ...called 'onboard graphics ? )
This stuff gets tricky and sometimes the only way to make windows 'recognize' the pci graphics card is to actually take it out and boot, and then put it back in...
Then you get mssg " windows detected new hardware" and you install the drivers...
usually bios gives you choice of using onboard graphics or not ( but this too is wanky sometimes...sorry to say ...)
I recently ( this past year ) had a similar sort of situation but have a desktop, where its easy for me to take off side panel and pull the pci-e graphics card and boot, and get that horrible low res default screen...turn off, install card, reboot etc...
but anyway, it sounds to me like you're notebook is using that mobile graphics driver stuff and not the radeon. Somehow you've got to make it switch to that graphics card is maybe your solution.
sorry I dont have notebook but maybe someone else here does and can help more...
    good luck.
ps..its always a weird fact of life...when things aren't working 'right' something has to get done fast....
    edit:
I dont know how much you know about windows stuff, but after you disable that intel thing and get your low res screen.. you DID try to update the driver for that card using 'my computer / device manager  '   right ??

  • Can i upgrade my mac pro 6.1 late 2013 with amd radeon r9 gamer series ram

There are no 240 pin slots (or slots of any description) on the Apple cards. The RAMs are on the reverse side of the board, and have thermal contact with the central cooling core. I doubt anyone would support modifying the Apple cards to install different RAM.

  • Can i use the thunderbolt display with a windows laptop running a AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series

Running windows 7 on a Dell laptop with docking station connecting to thunderbolt display using a mini display port DVI adapter. Windows machine will not detect the display. Any ideas?

No - a Thunderbolt display won't work with a mini-Displayport source, even though the cable will fit.

  • Can't start X with Toshiba Satellite L850-1L1, Ati Radeon 7600M Series

I did a fresh install on my new laptop Toshiba Satellite L850-1L1 following the beginners' guide.
I am able to boot only with nomodeset in the kernel options.
Then I can't startx. It hangs after "loading extension GLX".
Instead of nomodeset, I tried as suggested in other posts vga=733 or vga=ask oracpi_backlight=vendor or video=SVIDEO-1:d
The most I can get is a blind login. This time startx displays something (not understandable) and the system does not hang (I can switch to another console).
As suggested in the guide I post some information:
    $ wgetpaste ~/.xinitrc
    File does not exist
    $ wgetpaste /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Have you had any luck with the proprietary driver (Catalyst)?
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMD_Catalyst
I tried, but the guide is out of date:
This article or section is out of date.
Reason: catalyst-utils is not anymore in the official repositories. Possibly one has to install catalyst-total from aur to get the same, but I'm not sure
And installing from AUR and having to rebuild at every kernel update is a nightmare.
Maybe the only chance is trying to install directly from AMD.
I'm using Arch since 5 years on a laptop with Nvidia graphic card, that died last week. I didn't know that ATI was so problematic with Linux.
Hope to find a fix, otherwise I have to switch to another Linux distribution, and I really don't want to

    Ok, I removed the packages
    xf86-video-intel xf86-video-vesa xf86-video-fbdev
So its the xf86-video-ati, which is used.

    1. In bios, do you found fixed and dynamic? if you don't found, install bios mod. Use dynamic
    2. Uninstall all programs and drivers previously, before of "Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphic Adapter WDDM1.3 - AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series" Release July 2014. You can use http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU, for example.
    3. Do you install windows 8.1 on windows 8.0? do you use windows 8.1 fresh installation? Can you testing install a new copy of windows 8.0 fresh? install drivers and later install updates... or fresh install windows 8.1?
    4. You testing install Windows 7 with http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55092.exe and update to windows 8?
    5. You testing install http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55092.exe in windows 8 initially?
NOTE: Excuse me my bad english, I try to help you. You should install drivers in order: Intel Chipset Device Software, Intel Rapid Storage Technology, Intel Management Engine Interface (6-series / 7-series / 8-series / 9-series) and then AMD software: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-drivers-software-forum/556469-drivers-hp-dv6-4xxx-dv6-6xxx-dv7-5x...
NOTE 2: My computer support Windows 8.1 native, but your computer not... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5077... will be no new official drivers for these devices
NOTE 3. Test leshcat or guru3d drivers, and review forum respectively

  • Dell XPS 8300 & AMD Radeon R9 270x

Hey there Dell Community! This Christmas I received a Radeon R9 270x to replace my AMD Radeon 5700 HD Series.
Unfortunately, after multiple tries I cannot get my new Graphics Card to work. Upon installing the graphics card, the fans spin, the lights turn on, and the everything else works. However, the monitor does not display anything, the keyboard does not turn on, and neither does the mouse.
I have gone through 3 different PSU's now, and none of them have worked. Also, I have tried updating the BIOS, but it seems that the last time DELL updated the BIOS was in November of 2011 even though the computer was released in 2011. I am beginning to get very frustrated as I thought the card was faulty, so I returned it to get a new one. Upon doing so, and installing the new card it still did not work.
I do not quite understand why my computer will not work, and why there have been no recent BIOS updates.
Is there anything I can do to get this graphics card to work? I am very disappointed that I cannot use my computer after a family member spent a large sum of money to get me a christmas gift.
The specifications of my computer are..
    Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
    Dell OY2MRG Motherboard
    8 GB RAM
    Windows 7 Home Premium
The graphics card I received is a Diamond Radeon R9 270x
If someone can help me with some troubleshooting, or give any suggestions in what I can do, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.

I see... I'm going to buy a new mobo and PSU today and chuck them into the box. Hopefully that will fix the problem. If not, might have to get a new case too.. Lol

  • AMD RADEON 7600M SERIES Graphics card driver

Hi there, I'm using an HP LAPTOP G6 2303tx. I got a virus on my computer that requires to format the system for fixing the problem. I installed with WINDOWS 8.1 (64 bit). The problem was fixed but a new one comes out. I have downloaded all the drivers but only for AMD RADEON 7600M SERIES that I can't find. Instead I found AMD RADEON 7670M SERIES. I installed it but didn't work.
So I request to please help me to fix the problem. Thank you in advance for your reaction.

    Welcome to Apple Communities
Apple releases updates, and you have to wait because Apple creates the graphics drivers. You need to check updates to know that you have the most recent version

Install the newest Windows 8 (64-bit) driver for your notebook only from the HP web support download section.
uninstall the drivers for both adapters and the Catalyst Control Center by running the softpaq and choosing uninstall all. Once you have done that run the installer again and (select install all)  install the Catalyst Control Center and the drivers.
The switchable graphics capability makes your notebook require the drivers from HP to achieve the switchable graphics capability.
