AMD Radeon R9 M275 Driver on my Y40-70 is Messed Up

After upgrading to Windows 10, I kept receiving a an "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR" blue screen message less than 60 seconds after logging in. Replacing the driver for my AMD Radeon R9 M275 graphics card with the one provided on Lenovo's website fixed that issue, but the graphics cars is still having problems. Now it has started crashing Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 upon starting that program. Upgrading the driver through Windows Update causes the same "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR" blue screen message, so that is not an option.

Yeah, the explanation was a bit tricky, so hopefully pictures will help. I'll do it in steps again.
The exact card I was using:

1) I connected the 6+2 connector below to the graphics card's 6 pin power slot. The fans were spinning at a normal speed but the card wasn't recognised and PC booted with integrated graphics.

2) To supply the power to the 8 pin power port of the graphic's card, I used the molex power cable from my power supply and connected a molex to PCI express 6 pin adapter, then connected a 6 to 8 pin adapter which went in the power port.

4) Finally the entire cable connected to the PSU and the 8 pin port of the graphic's card:

Which of course resulted in the system not being powered at all! So if the PSU is powerful enough, how am I supposed to get power to the 8 pin port on the card? Can I do this without adapters? As I guess this is where I'm going wrong.

Need updated AMD Radeon HD 6630M driver for Windows7

I am trying to update my new Macmini running Windows 7 64bit, with updated AMD Radeon HD 6630M drivers and Catalyst.
Everything is working well, but I can't install AMD Catalyst Mobility, as the version from AMD says that my computer doesn't contain the proper graphics.
Note: the reason I need the Catalyst is to adjust the image on my 55" LCD screen, as it is not streched to cover the entire screen.
Any help??

I used this driver package too, but I had after the installation of the AMD Drivers a Black Screen, and I could'nt read anything.
Then I solve this problem!
And here are my steps:
1. Download the driver package http://leshcatlabs.net/index.php/2012/11/catalyst-12-10-whql-unifl-for-amdintel-graphics/
2. I have installed it and I made a desktop-icon for the amd Installer.
3. Then I go to the Device Manager and then I clicked with the right-click on the ATi Radeon HD5650 and then I choose
"Update Driver Software...". After this then comes a windows with two messages. I have chosen the Second One "Browse my computer for driver software". Then put in the location of the driver from the installed downloaded package. The Standard location is: C:\Drivers\Catalyst_12.10_WHQL_UnifL\Packages\Drivers\Display\W86A_INF
4. Then click on "Next" and then comes a message that a driver wants to get installed, install it.
5. After this then comes the "Black Screen". Now take your finger and press the Display Change Button: |O|
Press the button 3 times and press Enter after this if you don't see your desktop do this step again.
6. Then If you have a picture do step 5 again and now you must look very well because now the desktop is very dark and you can't make the brightness better.
7. After this close all windows but before you could maybe see that the driver for the ATi Graphic Card is successfully installed.
8. Now click on the desktop-icon which called "Run Catalyst 12.10 WHQL UnifL Installer"
9. Run this Installer and then install it and don't make an update. Now choose a "user defined" installation and check if
all important things are would be installed (so far if you can read it).
10. Click on Next and Installation begins. While or after the installation you get now your desktop with a correct
brightness.

AMD Radeon HD 7400M driver problem - causing lag

hi, I got the Windows 10 upgrade on my HP Pavilion DV6 6053ea and I noticed it taking much longer than usual to boot up and also to restore from sleep. I get a black screen for over a minute before things appear on screen. I disabled the AMD Radeon HD 7400M in device manager and boot up was far faster. The link that you provided shows that there are no Windows 10 drivers available for your product at this time. I recommend using the Go back to an earlier build option, in your System Settings:HP Notebook PCs - Upgrading to Windows 10
Once you are back to your original Operating System, check to see if you are experiencing the same issue. If not, then you may consider holding off on the Windows 10 update for a few weeks, until drivers can be updated. Please let me know if this information was helpful by clicking the thumbs up below.

AMD Radeon HD 6770 driver

I have a Pavilion dv6-6B40EZ (Product No. : QG789A#UUZ) with an AMD Radeon HD 6770 and a Intel Core i7-2670Qm and i'm working with windows seven 64 bits.
Today, i try to update my graphics drivers and i download the folowing exe from the Amd site. However, when i launche the program, it fails and i receive this :

The download from AMD won't work because the switchable graphics feature is dependent on your using the HP custom modified driver and software package. Somewhere in the fine print at the AMD download center you will see that in a disclaimer.
The following is the latest softpaq version available that is compatible with your notebook.

Do not install the Intel and AMD driver softpaqs seperately. Doing that will cause the switchable graphics feature to no longer function.

As I stated before you have to manually install the W8.1 driver following the steps I provided.
You close out of any error windows after you run the W8.1 file.
I have given this method of installation to several forum members who all reported it worked perfectly.

AMD Radeon HD 7570

I am looking for an update to my AMD Radeon HD 7570 driver that I bought with my HP Pavilion HPE last year. From googling, it seems this is an OEM card and driver made by HP with no AMD support... that means the latest AMD updates do not work for this device, and HP will have to update the drivers.
So 2 questions:
1. Is my understanding above correct? Will I have to wait solely for HP to update that driver? Or is there some workaround to use AMD software to do it. Many games do not work correctly without the latest drivers, so if this is indeed the case, I do wish HP would make this known upfront, I definitely would not have opted for this machine with this understanding.
2. Is there an ETA for an update?

You are correct in your first question.
It is a proprietary card made by AMD for HP, and it uses a custom driver that will only work on that card, and it is the only driver that will work on that card.
Since this is a consumer to consumer forum, no one here can answer your second question, but my opinion is that HP will never release an updated driver for the graphics card.
If you want to ask someone at HP if they will ever update the graphics driver for the 7570, please feel free to submit your question to the HP executive team at the link below.

I am running Photoshop CC 2014 on Windows 8.1 with an AMD quad core processor and AMD E1-2100 APU with AMD Radeon HD 8210 Graphics Card. I have installed the latest driver version 13.152.0.0. When I activate puppet warp, the mesh appears over the image and I can place the first pin. However, when I go to add the second pin, Photoshop crashes. I have tried with on a new, blank file, with just a few lines on it, but, as soon as I place the first pin, the image disappears, and then, as soon as I click anywhere else in the image, Photoshop crashes. I have followed all the online advice about settings under the Preferences/Performance interface, but nothing fixes the problem. Can anyone please help?

AMD Radeon HD 6490M Windows 8 - 64-bit Driver

Hi guys,
I have HP Pavilion DV6-6B51EA and curently I'm using licenced Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I tried upgrading to Windows 8 Release Preview but I can't install driver for my graphics card which is AMD Radeon HD 6490M.
The problem is I can't download and install drivers from AMD website, HP laptops can only use the drivers from their website, well, at least for the graphics cards.
So, I can't use Win 7 driver on Win 8. I would like to know is there any chance I can find a driver that will work, or can you tell me when will HP release new drivers for my latopt for Windows 8?

I tried to do that with the same download package on my Pavilion DV6 CTO Quad edition and it fails to install the driver because of a conflict with the C++ Redistributable 2010 package build into the installer. Does anyone know if HP is going to update the switchable graphic drivers for Windows 8? They better!

Now, the graphic was error, each after booting, the windows logo appears then to black screen (can't get the desktop).
In device manager - display adapters, only AMD problem (Microsoft Basic Display Adapter), then I uninstall the driver to be able to install AMD drivers.
I tried with "14-4-mobility-win7-Win8-win8.1-64-dd-ccc-WHQL", it is said that the last AMD drivers, but when at the end of install, it said failed to complete.

Of note there is a new AMD Catalyst Omega driver released earlier in the week that brings 5K resolution to AMD graphics cards. Here is the link (support.ad.com/en-us/download) to the AMD site. But none of these work with my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), Windows 8 bootcamp.

BSOD after installing Boot Camp, AMD Radeon 6630M driver issue

I have reinstalled Windows using Boot Camp twice now and get a blue screen right after installing the Boot Camp drivers and restarting.
I am installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on my Mac mini 2011 edition. I created an install disk in Lion and used the option to copy the Boot Camp drivers into the disk.
I have narrowed the problem down to Apple's driver for the AMD Radeon 6630M graphics which my Mac mini has. The driver will install without errors but then the blue screen appears on next startup. If I use safe mode to uninstall the AMD driver, the blue screen goes away, but the display resolution is very low.
I checked for driver updates from AMD, but there are none for the 6630M.
Anyone else having this issue?

I have installed Windows using Boot Camp and I also get the blue screen of death right after installing the Boot Camp drivers and restarting.
I am installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on a i7 Mac mini 2011 edition. I created the USB install thumb within Lion's Boot Camp, and got downloaded the latest Bootcamp drivers (bootcamp 4.0). I connect the mac mini to a 24" iiyama screen with a HDMI cable. I don't have a DVI cable anymore unless i would have checked that point too.
I have also narrowed the problem down to Apple's driver for the AMD Radeon 6630M graphics which my Mac mini also has. The driver will install without errors but then the blue screen appears on next startup. If I use safe mode to uninstall the AMD driver or renaming the atikmdag.sys file (the main cause of the crash), the blue screen goes away, but the display can't get the effects such as Aero interface.
AMD provides official drivers that don't recognize its own 6630m graphic card with Apple, then doesn't install any up-to-date driver... Only Apple's AtiGraphics setup program will install the drivers...but it makes Windows 7 crash at each boot.

I grasp that you are having a difficulty installing an AMD driver as you have switchable graphics.
You provided your model but when I checked the specification page it came with Free Dos. What Operating System are your running?
Here are two documents to assist you with this difficulty.

I am unsure of where you obtained the driver update, but you should only use the recommended ones from HP .

Satellite C855-1JD Amd Radeon Driver

Good morning,
When I turned on my computer this morning I received this message:
"The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the driver version of you enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager"
My display adapter is an AMD Radeon HD 7610M

Try to uninstall the ATI graphic card driver which is preinstalled on your unit.
Then visit the Toshiba EU driver page and download the latest available ATI/AMD GPU driver.
After the installation has finished, reboot the notebook and check the functionality.
