AME crashes with code error 8 when using CUDA CPU mercury accelerated

I have a Eurocom/Clevo D900C quad extreme system with 8 gig ram and aNVidia 9800M GTX.
I have an CUDA mercury CPU accelerated system in premiere pro cs5 BUT it works only work in edit mode. Things are good in the timeline, no need to render etc. It crashes when I try and export to the AME. I get a “movie error code 8” then it shuts the whole PP CS5 system down.
Any suggestions - is it driver (266.58), program PP CS5/AME CS5, card (9800M GTX) or BIOS related?
lost in kanata (Canada)

Correct. I had to adapt the GTX 9800M to find it in Premiere Pro CS5. I bought my current machine before Premiere Pro CS5 came out with the CUDA mercury accelerated engine.The new supported cards don't fit with my laptop - ( I go on-site to edit videos for business meetings with government so I need a powerful laptop - hence the D900C).
To move to the D900F is a couple of grand I don't have at the moment but like the opportunity to encode videos faster - an 18 mintues clip can take some take 5 hours. I appreciate that Adobe can't spend time and money adapting older cards to work with future sofware but I can dream.
I guess I can be thankful I get some benefits from the mecury engine during the editing phase but will still have to live with the slower encoding. My post was just a hope that someone knew of a workaround that would save me time and in the end some money. Times are tough business-wise and I need to get all I can from equipment before moving up.
Is it your opionion that what I have is the best it is going to be - it is better than the Quadro 1600M. What card would you suggest that might work but not break the bank - my supplier couldn't find one and his knowledge of PP CS5 not great?
Thanks in advance for any direction you might offer.

  • Problems with JBO errors displaying when using custom insert VO methods

    Hi!
    I have a problem I hope I can explain :).
    I have a VO that has custom execute and insert methods implemented in application module.
      public void executeWithParamsMyViewG(String asID)
        // find the view
        MyViewImpl loMyViewImpl =
          getMyViewG();
        loMyViewImpl.setNamedWhereClauseParam("IDParm", asID);
        // execute the querry
        loMyViewImpl.executeQuery();
      public void insertRow(String asID)
        MyViewImpl loMyViewImpl =
          getMyViewG();
        // create new row
        Row loRow = loMyViewImpl.createRow();
        // set fields in new row
        loRow.setAttribute("ID", asID);
        loRow.setAttribute("MyAttribute", "A");
        loRow.setAttribute("MyAttribute2",
                           afContext.getProcessScope().get("MyParm"));
        // insert new row
        loMyViewImpl.insertRow(loRow);
      }I have custom error handler with
        public void reportException(DCBindingContainer bc, Exception ex) {
           //Force JboException's reported to the binding layer to avoid
           //printing out the JBO-XXXXX product prefix and code.
          disableAppendCodes(ex);
          super.reportException(bc, ex);
        private void disableAppendCodes(Exception ex) {
          if (ex instanceof JboException) {
            JboException jboEx = (JboException) ex;
           jboEx.setAppendCodes(false);
            Object[] detailExceptions = jboEx.getDetails();
            if ((detailExceptions != null) && (detailExceptions.length > 0)) {
              for (int z = 0, numEx = detailExceptions.length; z < numEx; z++) {
                disableAppendCodes((Exception) detailExceptions[z]);
        }I also have custom phase listener and page lifecycle but without any 'important' methods overridden.
    Than I have a jspx with af:processChoiceBar for navigation, Create button binded to insertRow method, commit and rollback buttons and form with input fields. One of them is required, but with validation on server side, not on client side (showRequired instead of required).
    My problem is this:
    If I add an empty row, leave all the fields blank and try to commit I get required field message, which is OK. But if I use af:processChoiceBar (previous page, next page, select any of the pages), the message is not displayed. The message is displayed after when I try to return to this page. If I debug the exception in reportException method has the code 27024 for DeferredRowValidationException, not the required attribute error which is displayed.
    Can anyone help me with this please, I've wasted a lot of time on this now.
    Regards!
    BB

    Hi,
    Does anyone know why this would not be working. It's really irritating!

  • Newest update to Firefox Crashes with BEX error code

    Updated Firefox to newest version. Upon restarting Firefox it crashes with BEX error code. Deactivated all anti-spyware, removed all traces of Firefox and did a new re-install, and tried to open in Safe Mode but it still crashes upon start with same error code. (Firefox only runs on initial install but upon restart always crashes) Attempted to find an older version of firefox but can not find older version. I do not see any help related to the severity of my crashes. How do you fix the BEX crash?

    When you started in Safe Mode*, did you get the Safe Mode dialog or Firefox never got that far? Did you ever get to your home page?
    BEX = Buffer Overflow Exception or Data Execution Prevention (DEP) exception. DEP is a security feature that seeks to prevent exploits that inject program code into Windows memory. Firefox doesn't trigger this error on its own, but add-ons or external programs that tweak Firefox might.
    Are you using any special configurations to run Firefox, such as virtual machines or sandboxing?
    If not, it sound suspicious. You may want to run some supplemental scans. These two tools are highly regarded:
    Malwarebytes Anti-malware : http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
    SUPERAntiSpyware : http://www.superantispyware.com/
    * I assumed Firefox Safe Mode. Or was it Windows Safe Mode with Networking?

  • Itunes 10.5 crashes with no error when trying to play any music, video, or import/scan from the library folder on the compter with Windows 7 Pro.

    Fresh install with all older itunes un-installed as well as other Apple software.
    Now cannot get any songs, videos, or even scan library folder for songs to work on the computer.
    itunes just simply crashes with no error comments.
    This is itunes 10.5 on a Windows 7 Pro system.

    Same here, though on XP. Have tried cleaning registry, reinstalling, deleting preferences. Created a new user with no library and I have the problem there, too, so it's not the library.
    Is there no one to call about this??

  • Excel crash with MSVBVM60 error

    Hi
    I have a problem with my input schedules, everytime I send data excel crash with an error in msvbvm60.dll.
    I have checked that the version of msvbvm60 is the newest one and it is.
    I havn't made any system changes in the past dayes and we have the error on at least 2 different PC's and on 2 different AppSets. It was working fine this morning.
    The error occures when the dialogbox showing the send data result appear. The data are saved in the database.
    Any suggestion on why and how to fix this problem is greatly appreaciated.

  • PCI-6023-E intermittently crashes with 10421 error

    Using Win ME and the drivers from Ver 6.8.1
    Board will work OK and then crash intermittently
    with 10421 error in my software. MAX also
    reports the same error. Only solution I've
    found is to reboot then everything is OK
    (for a while).

    David,
    This error is software related more than it is a hardware related problem. I am attaching several links that address this error (10401). Also, your E series card is supported by NI-DAQ 7.1 for Windows Me. It would be a great idea to upgrade your driver to the most recent driver compatible with your board (NI-DAQ7.1). The driver could be downloaded from our website at the following link NI-DAQ 7.1. If you choose to upgrade, please uninstall your current driver, remove the hardware, install the new driver, and then install the hardware.
    Links:
    Error -10401 using E series Calibrate VI
    AI continuous Scan Gives Error -10401
    Error -10401 when using the count events or time VI
    If your VI is not big, you could attach it to your post and I will be glad to look at it. Thank you for taking the time to post your question.

  • Tux-6.5 (no patches) BBL crashes with SIGBUS error

    Hi,
    We have been using tuxedo 6.5 on HP-UX 11i for a long time. All of a sudden, in
    the last couple of days we wre finding that the BBL process crashes with SIGBUS

    tried to follow the BBL process to see what was happening and the output at the
    time of the crash is:

    I have no idea what is causing the crash. We know for sure that no kernel level
    changes have been applied in the last 31 days at least. I would appreciate it
    very much if someone could point me in the right direction to understand why we
    are getting the BBL crashing.

    If you were to contact BEA Customer Support with a problem like this, the first
    thing they would tell you is to get the latest rolling patch. It is possible
    that this is a problem that was resolved in a patch and people do not want to
    spend time looking into a problem that was solved by somebody else.
    That said, when a system that was running for a long time starts having trouble,
    there has to be something that is different. A few ideas: a disk might be full
    or your system is low on memory. Does the problem exist after a reboot?, Did
    you change the size of your application? Can you restore a save of the state
    of your application before you started having the problem? How about the whole
    system? Are there any new applications running that will change the usage of
    memory or message queues?
    I did a quick look at the patchlev file for Tux 6.5 and there were a number of
    problems with the BBL fixed over the years. Several have involved crashes. Some
    of the problems are quite subtle and you have to be lucky (or unlucky) to hit
    them. It is possible you were running "for a long time" and were just lucky to
    be avoiding the problem.
    What this comes down to is that crashes of the BBL are particularly disturbing
    and I recommend getting the latest rolling patch. If the problem persists, I
    suggest filing a case with Customer Support.

    Hi,
    We have been using tuxedo 6.5 on HP-UX 11i for a long time. All of a

    are getting the BBL crashing.

  • Error message when using search

    why do i keep getting an error message when using the "search" tabe in iTunes. This happend whe i upgraded t the latest version of itunes.

    Well, I believe JHeadstart does not really have this functionality.
    One way is use a Query Operator 'startsWith', but then you always query like LIKE '<entered search value>%'
    This is probably not what you want...
    But you could hack it into advancedSearch in YourApplicationModuleImpl
    try {
    if (viewCriterium.getQueryValue() != null) { //This is where exception JHS-00116 is raised...
    value = viewCriterium.getQueryValue().toString();
    } else {
    value = null;
    catch (NumberFormatException ex) {
    //insert check for wildcard
    value = viewCriterium.getValue().toString();
    if (value.indexOf('%')>=0) {
    sLog.debug("Ja, een wildcard!!!");
    operator = "LIKE";
    } else {//original exceptionhandling code here...
    ...and a bit later, add test for "LIKE":
    if (viewCriterium.isDate() || viewCriterium.isString() || "LIKE".equals(operator)) {
    value = "'" + value + "'";
    very nasty code, and does not raise an exception for searches like '%xxx'
    Good luck,

  • Error message when using FM 'BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE'.

    I'm continually getting an error message when using FM 'BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE'. The message being 'Table BAPIADTEL entry to be changed not found in target system'.
    I have looked up this message but all links seem to refer to FM 'BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE', which I'm not using, and has different parameter settings.
    I'm simply trying to update the telephone number and I'm updating strcuture BAPIADTEL and BAPIADTELX but still the message appears. I know that there is a really simple reason for this, but I have been double-checking everything and experimenting with lots of different areas, but with no effect.
    Has anyone encountered this problem using the specific FM ''BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE' ?.
    Jason

    Hi Jason,
    In case your database tables had already value for field telephone number, then only the flag should be "U".
    If the telephone number field was empty, and we will try to change it by using the flag as U, it wont work. In this case, we should be using "I".
    I even wrote that before in this post, but somehow I guess the post was locked, and a lot of comments from you and me were not visible apart from the first two. So, I couldnt get any update from you.
    Anyway, its good that its working for you. Thank you for the update.

  • Licence error message when using automation software

    Error message when using Rational Functional Tester 7.0.1.1
    to record a Flex application. The message seemed to come from the
    Flex application.
    I can record a fiew step in the application, then I have the
    message : "Licence are not present. Eith the trial version only
    limited record are allowed". But, my license of my Rational
    Functional Tester application is activated.
    I am using a Flex builder 3 trial version and the trial is
    not over.
    Is there any problem to get the license in the File compiler
    with "D:\apps\IBM\SDP70\FunctionalTester\bin\rft.swc"? That RFT
    file is supposed to be included in the flex application once
    compile

    Does anyone know how to build with automation support in a
    linux environment?
    We simply run an ant script build and have the SDK installed.
    We purchased Flex Builder Professional, but cannot install on Linux
    (we don't want to use the alpha version).
    Thanks for any pointers :)

  • My Application gets Error 37 when using Serial Port VIs.

    My Application works fine developed with LV 6.1. Then I updated to LV 7.1 and now the Executable of my application gets error 37 when using the old serial port functions. The "serpdrv" file is located in the application directory and is from 02/2002. The application runs well in the development environment after I placed the "serpdrv" file in the LabView directory. I tried to put a line with "serialDevices=..." in the .ini-file of my application but this did not cause an improvement. I also tried to rebuild the EXE with this line in the "labview.ini" file but nothing changes.
    Does anybody have another idea ?
    Many thanks for help
    Thomas

    >Did you actually replace the old serial functions that come with 7.1 with the functions from 6.1?
    Yes. E.g. "open serial driver.vi" uses "open device" with "serpdrv" as device string.
    I had the same problem running my application as VI´s. After the copy of serpdrv into the LV 7.1 directory everything works fine.
    I don´t understand why the application running as a .exe doesn´t find the serpdrv when it is in the same directory....
    Nevertheless many thanks for your answer
