Amend good posted date
Hi Experts,
My problem is system allow transfer for the day before which the goods receipt has been made the day after
ex :X goods recieve on 29.10.2010 however user transfers this goods to the another location on 28.10.2010
how can I prevent this need your reply and help
Are you sure, system is posting the same goods which you will receiving on 29.10.2010? No stock exists for that before 29.10.2010. Bcoz it might eb case that system might take the exusting stock and issuing the same.
If the stock is zero and system is issuing the stock, then you need to remove negative stock settings in system (Remove negative at valuation level, at tcode# OMJ1).

How to GRN date (MIGO) and Goods posting date (MB1C) as a Characteristcs
Dear All,
Our customer wants to include GRN date (MIGO) and Goods posting date (MB1C) as a Characteristic for a batch.
And he wants the system to pick up these dates automatically for batch.
So in batches will be sorted out based on GRN (MIGO) or Goods posting (MB1C) date.
Is there any standard characteristics available for these fields?
How to achieve this functionality.

Restrict goods issue if stock on posting date is zero
Requirement:
Current Inventory period : July 2011
Stock of a material from 01.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 is zero(in MB5B report)
I upload stock of material or GRN occur on 31.07.2011. Say Quantity u2013 100
Now stock as on 31.07.2011 is 100 in MB5B
Still, Stock of a material from 01.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 is zero(in MB5B)
Now, If I do goods issue of a material quantity 100 on 15.07.2011. System allows goods issue. though opening and closing stock as on 15.07.2011 is zero.
After goods issue transaction if I check stock of material on any date between 16.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 , The opening stock and closing stock shows negative.
I want to restrict goods issue if stock on posting date is zero or less then stock available on posting date.
Please suggestHi,
This is not the way SAP is designed. As the previous speakers wrote (and as you noticed yourself), SAP maintains stock figures in the database per month rather than per day. MB5B makes complex calculations in order to find out how much stock you had on a specific date - as you probably noticed on the response time. Performing such calculations every time you do a GI would be unfeasibly heavy task for the system - remember there are organisations that perform hundreds of inventory movements a minute!
An alternative solution I suppose would be to maintain the daily stock figures in the database. This would make the finding of the stock figure very quick, but on the other hand, the maintenance of such table would be unfeasible - if you post today a GI on say July 1st, you would need to calculate 36 stock figures and update 36 database records!
Hope this explains the technical issue.

Good issue to Production order - Allows it in back posting date
Dear all,
Good issue to Production order ( 261 Movement ), allows us to post the component in back dated eventhough stock is not avaible on that date.
Example - Component stock on date 10.02.2010 = Zero , I made it Good receipt on date 18.02.2010 and now stock is available on date 18.02.2010.
Now GI to Production it allows the qty on current and back Posting date also , I want control on date with error message. It should not allowed the GI for back date from 18.02.2010.
Because of this our MB5B report shows the negetive issue qty if i post in back date.
Waiting for reply
Thanks and Regards,
SaurabhHi SAurabh,
PLease check whether Negative Stock is allowed for the valuation Area (plant).
GOTO >> SPRO >> MM>> Invetnroy management and physical inventory >> Goods issue/ Transfer Posting >> Allow Negative stock.
Untick the Negative stock allowed for your valuation area (PLant)

MIGO. Goods receipt. Default posting date ??
Hi All!
My user wants to put restrictions on <b>posting date for goods receipt</b>. It should depend on fiscal year (FY) of document delivery date. There are 2 rules for this. One should works only if the current month is September.
If FY of delivery date < current FY then posting date = 8/31/prior FY.
Else. Posting date = current date.
The second rule should work only if current month is August.
If FY of delivery date > current FY then Error message Cannot post
During the rest of the year they want to have standard MIGO.
Is it possible to realize it in SAP without modifications? If yes, what is the best way to do it?
Thanks a lot.
LenaHi,
You can use this exit,
MBCF0005
Function module is,
EXIT_SAPM07DR_001
In the Changing part the structure ( AM07M ) is accessed as C_AM07M which has the posting date.

How to fetch post goods issue date and sales order creation date
Hi All,
How to find out the difference between SD Sales Order Item Creation Date and final Post goods issue Date. I would like to know how to fetch those dates and what is the relationship between the tables from which i will get the dates.
Please let me know the solution .
Thanks in advance.Hi,
Sales order creation date is when u raise a sales order in favor of the customer using VA01.......using ATP logic system purposes the material availability date....
after saving ur sales order...when u raise the Delivery using VL01n w.r.t to OR...than u have to perform picking ....In the picking Tab...specify the amount to be picked than press Post Good Issue....means the goods left the company premises ..
You can the fetch the values using tables- Use T code SE12 or SE16

Hi,
I have created a DSO based on the schedule lines standard extractor 2LIS_02_SCL.
The keys of this DSO are PO Number, PO Item and Schedule Line number.
I have succeed to get some key figures like PO Quantity, GR Quantity and Invoice Receipt Quantity according to the Process Key value.
Furthermore, I'd like to get too the goods receipt date (Process Key = 02,12,22).
In order to do that I wrote a small routine in the transformation rule for my target field which fill it only if the process key is 02, 12 or 22.
The problem is that it doesn't work well because of the invoice records in my source package...
Indeed when there is an invoice in my PSA for a schedule line, my target field (GR date char) is empty (for these schedule lines, last record is Invoice Receipt type). So it means my transformation rule works but is overwritten by an blank value when there is a process key 03,13 or 23 (invoice Receipt type).
Do you have a idea to solve my issue ?
Thank you very muchHi.
You have to write start or end routines for this scenario, not the field level routine since it gets overwrite with last record values....
overall logic is:
Collect GR date per PO Num, PO Item and PO SCH. Lin num..like you have internal table with PO number, PO Item and PO Sch line number and GR date. First you have to go through source_package or result_package and fill up that temporary internal table
And than again go through source_package or result_package and READ that temporary table and fill GR date for all records of same PO sch. lines ..hope this resolves the issue.
I would prefer end routine if you have posting date in DSO or target structure
this is little bit complex, so you need ABAP skills.... -

Problem with the Posting Date of Goods Receipt or Invoice Receipt for PO
Hi All,
I am working on 2LIS_02_SCL - Purchasing Data (Schedule Line Level),
For our report, we should get the scheduled PO quantity, actual PO qty, Scheduled date and actual date in the report.
we are getting all these fields from the above extractor...
For a PO which is opened (Delivery Completion indicator not set) - we where getting all field as in ECC(ME23N)
But for a PO which is finished(Delivery completion indicator is set) - we where are getting actual GR qty, planned qty, planned or scheduled date at schedule line level. But we are not getting the Posting Date of Goods Receipt or Invoice Receipt for PO from history EKBE for all the schedule line.
ex:
for open PO
PO num item num schedule line Planned date actual date difference actual qty planned qty difference
450002432 10 1 01/10/2011 02/10/2011 1 day 100 100 0
2 02/10/2011 04/10/2011 2 days 200 400 200
3 03/10/2011 07/10/2011 4 days 300 300 0
For the same PO when it is Finished or completed(Delivery completion indicator is set)
PO num item num schedule line Planned date actual date difference actual qty planned qty difference
450002432 10 1 01/10/2011 07/10/2011 6 day 100 100 0
2 02/10/2011 07/10/2011 5 days 200 400 200
03/10/2011 07/10/2011 4 days 300 300 0
for all the schedule line its displaying the last posting date(i think its taking from EKKO table)
Is there any possibility to get that posting date history ....You can have multiple receipts against a PO schedule line, but this extractor is not meant to go to that level of granularity. Please try to use 2lis_02_sgr instead which provides goods receipts per PO schedule line.

MIRO(Invoice Verification) posting date is lesser than MIGO(Goods Receipt)
MIRO(Invoice Verification) posting date is lesser than MIGO(Goods Receipt) posting date.
Explanation:
Miro sholud be posted after the GRN has posted. It means that the Posting date of Miro should be greater than or equal to the Posting date of Migo. But I am facing the issue that I can able to post the Miro before the Migo date..
For example: I have posted the Migo(Goods receipt) document with the posting date u2013 10.8.09 and at the same time I can also able to post the Miro(Invoice Verification) posting date as u2013 5.08.09. This is should not be allowed . Kindly give me the solution. Is there any options in SAP standards to restrict this type of Postings(without using user exit).
regards
VaradharajHi
you need to use BADi for this INVOICE_UPDATE
you can give logic as whil;e MIRO system will compare posting date with MIGO doc , then create a Z error msg in se91 nad assign it in that badi
take help of ABAPer, check following link
[LINK |GR date lesser than the PO date, the system should show an error message.; -
2lis_02_scl extract records with wrong posting date for Good Receipts.
Hi Experts,
We are currently having issue of mismatch between BW Schedule Line data with R/3 values for the Goods Receipts posting date updating incorrectly in to BW.
Example.
In table EKBE purchase order history we have following records.
MANDT EBELN EBELP ZEKKN VGABE GJAHR BELNR BUZEI BEWTP BWART BUDAT MENGE
501 5600453404 00010 00 1 2010 5012473031 0001 E 101 23.01.2010 1.250,000
501 5600453404 00010 00 1 2010 5012473031 0002 E 101 23.01.2010 1.250,000
501 5600453404 00010 00 1 2010 5012473031 0003 E 101 23.01.2010 1.250,000

Which means we have on posting date of 23.01.2010 1250*3 i.e. 3750 quantity of Goods Receipts.
However when we check the extractor we get multiple records in internal table C_T_DATA and in psa.

9 002 0002 20100226 1250.000 X 20100113 ZNB F 20100226 5600453404
As can be seen we have record no 8 for ETENR (Schedule line 1) with posting date 26.02.2010 and another record with posting date 23.01.2010.
Since we are getting 2 records the record with incorrect posting date overwrites the record with correct one.
Any idea if this could be a standard extractor problem or any other way to resolve this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.First of all, are you using a staging DSO? (You should ideally)
If yes, is it a Write Optimized DSO? (Again, this is ideal)
If its a standard DSO, the values maybe over-writing upon activation.
You have 3 records (quantity = 1250 * 3) that have been receipted on 23.01.2010, where Posting Date = 23.01.2010.
You also have a record (quantity = 1250 * 1) that has been receipted on 26.01.2010. Posting date = 26.01.2010.
Now, in RSA3 & in PSA you can see more records than intended.
This is because you have before & after images. (ROCANCEL = X or blank).
ROCANCEL = X --> Before Image (record before change)
ROCANCEL = blank --> After Image (record after change)
This is a standard property of the extractor.
Now, we also have something known as BWVORG (Process Keys). Each process, i.e. creating a PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice etc.. have different Process Keys.
Creation - 001
Goods Rcpt. - 002
Invoice - 003
We can see that record 8, i.e. BWVORG = 002 (GR) has been modified on 26.01.2010.
That is why there is before image and after image.
Which one should be the correct posting date? 23.01.2010?
Normally in a Write optimized DSO, you will have all the records (before and after images & others as well).
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if otherwise. -
Blocking of Good Issue with respect to posting date
Hi Expert,
Is there any way out in SAP B1 to block the Good Release with respect to posting date.i.e. If User receipt the Good in stock today then system should not allow the user to issue the same good on the back date.
regards,
PankajKHi Pankaj,
There are so many options e.g you can check in oinm select that particular item sort on docdate and check inqty and compare with your goods issue date if it is same then send same transaction to approval if you want.
Thanks

DTW Good Receipt Doc. date and Posting Date
Dear Professional,
I have tried to use the DTW Good Receipt Template (oInventoryGenEntry) to unpload the initial open on-hand inventory into B1.
However, no matter the DocDate (Posting Date) and TaxDate (Doc. Date) I have entered into the Document Template, the system still set "Today" as both Posting Date and Doc. Date after completed uploading the inventory on-hand, is there anything can help to solve or something I missed ??
Thank,
DeckardDear Deckard,
When I did the this DTW, I found the same issue. B1 probably not allow to import back dated Good Receipt transactions by DTW.
Thanks,

Goods consumption document posting date should be same as POD confirmation
Hi friends,
The scenario is like this --- The delivery is POD relevant, after delivery consignment lending happens {movement type 631}, then GI is done. But, only after POD confirmation this GI document comes into this document flow and it can be seen as goods consumption document {movement tyep 902} in the document flow.
Now, user's problem is with the goods consumption document posting date.
In VLPOD overview screen, actual goods movement date is 02.01.2008 and customer has sent the user a confirmation of delivery on 02.01.2008 itself. But, user has updated this VLPOD on today's date ie. 18.01.2008 and user has kept the POD date as 02.01.2008 itself {backdated POD date}. Now, after POD confirmation, goods cosumption document is created. But, system is showing the posting date of this docuement as todays date ie. 18.01.2008. But, user requirement is that system should copy the POD confirmation date into the goods cosumption document posting date. So, how can this be achieved ? can be done with some customization setting or user exit is the only option ???
Await your kind feedback....
HrishikeshHi
As per my understanding the system is working as per the client's requirement-which says.,
"user requirement is that system should copy the POD confirmation date into the goods cosumption document posting date"
Since the POD confirmation date is entered as 18.01, the system has taken 18.01 as the goods consumption posting date.
If possible, please try that with different dates of POD confirmation.
Thanks,

Extracting first goods receipt posting date
Hi Experts,
At the moment our 2LIS_02_SCL extractor is extracting the last goods receipt posting date from source system and we would like to get the first goods receipt posting date.
Posting date is stored in EKBE-BUDAT and I have checked the 2LIS_02_SCL in CMOD but couldn't find the code.
How do I resolve this issue.
thanksHi,
changing the behaviour of the 2LIS_02_SCL will be fairly tricky (modification), I reckon. But you could enhance the extract structure with a new field and populate it in the standard CMOD exit. There you put some logic to determine the first good receipt. This is normally not the right way for LIS extractors but in your case it should be fine (no delta issues). Alternatively you overwrite the existing date field with the first GR in the exit. I would go for a dedicated field.
Another option would be a generic extractor on the table EKBE. For purchase order related information you can get a clean delta and do the further processing in BW.
Hope it helps.
