Amount in LC included freight charges

Dear all,
I crate a PO with price 5 qty 100 Net value=500 then added the FRA1 charges price 10 in conditions of PO and STAT check has activated already,
now I post the migo Net price 500 and freight 10 both posted in separete G/L account.... But problem is that in migo 'Amount in LC' show 6.58 which would be 5 (actual price) and should not be included freight charges.
Regards,
Ali Makki

hi,
Check whether accrual indicator is ticked for condition FRA1
if it is checked,it will post the same entries as you got.
so untick the check box and try again
Thanks

  • How to include Freight charges and unloading charges in Material price.

    Hi All,
Can you pls. advice how we can include freight charges & unloading charges in Material price (MAP) when receive in system.
    Current Situation :
We buy Switchgears from vendor, which transported with special vehicle arrangement from different service provider and gets unloaded at warehouse by another service provider. Currently business create seperate PO for Material vendor, Freight Vendor and for unloading service provider. But MAP is only updated with Material cost only. How can I include delivery cost and unloading cost in MAP thro standard SAP process.
Your solution will help business heaps.
    Regards,

    Hi,
Create three condition types namely basic material price, freight charges & unloading charges.
For  basic material price , you can copy PB00 and rename your basic material price condition type. Now freight charges & unloading charges condition type in M/06 , do not maintain condition category ( keep it blank ), so that it will added to inventory cost .For freight charges & unloading charges do not maintain account key & accrual key in Pricing procedure.
Cretae PO , now you will see all cost added to NET price in PO and you can for doing GR where all cost are inventoried as materisl cost.

  • Payment Card - To Be Authorised Amount  does not include Shippig Charges

    Hi Guys,
In the Payment cards tab SAP as a standard calculates Total "TO BE Authorised" amount as NET pr + Taxes (Screen field: FPLAA-ENDWR).
It does not include shipping charges. I would like to include the same. I guess there is no customization available for this. Is there a way out...
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Jay Enn

    Hi Jay,
You can assign pricing procedure in delivery to calculate Shipping costs and then
so that you will be able to capture entire cost and bill customer accordingly
Why not you set the period in Customizing for Sales and Distribution by choosing Billing -> Payment cards -> Authorization and settlement -> Specify authorization validity periods.

I am created one GRPO for raw material includes freight charges as Rs.200 which is inventories & system passed the respective entry to stock account including freight charges. The problem is when I create the AP invoice for the same GRPO, system pass the JE which debits the Inward transportation a/c by Rs.200 & credit the Sundries Rounding off A/c by Rs.200 along with other normal debit & credit.
I am not able to understand this behavior as  system has already inventories the freight charges but its again hitting the expense account of freight charges.

Make ths setup in Test System and Try it.
    1. Create a new Frieght Master.
    2. Select Distribution Method as "Quantity"
    3. Check the "STOCK" check box.
    4. If, GL setup by Warehouse then, go to approp warehouse and set

  • List Price should include Freight and Taxes  ?

    Hello Gurus,
Well, I need to know the Standard Practice or Leading Practice for List Price.
What all gets included in List Price ? Do we include Freight charges and Taxes also ?
    Pls reply.

    Hi,
if we consider the standard practice, then WE SHOULD NOT INCLUDE TAXES / FREIGHT / DISOUNTS  in list price.
Becouse, freight and taxes will depend on location of SHIP TO PARTY

  • Scenario on Purchasing Process - Freight Charges to Different Vendor

    Hi Experts,
We have a business scenario here that we want to implement on the MM - Purchasing Process.
My Client's industry is on Selling Mixed Concrete. Every time they make Contract with Scheduling Agreements, for Raw Materials like Cement 20MM or DUST, on each available Plant from a partner company on a different location. Some of the Location are not inside the country as well.
When we do Scheduling Agreement, we do a blank quantity for example, 30,000 for 20MM on Plant A and 10,000 for 20MM on Plant B. During the creation of Schedule Lines, we key in differect schedules of delivery (incl PGR). Then by the end of the Period, we create a Vendor Invoice.
However on some delivery item, we have a scenario where from a specific Vendor A, we have a Vendor B that delivers our Materials to our Plant (Transporter Vendor). So we have to create another Invoice for them. We have to have 1 Invoice for the Supplier and 1 Invoice for the Transporter Vendor.
I understand that SAP can do 2 Vendor assignment on PO, 1 for Material Goods and 1 for Freight Charge. The Amount will sum up per Ordered Item and during PGI, the Material Cost will be based on this amount. I'm okay with the first statement but the summed amount is not okay with some scenarios.
The problem with some scenarios is that we should not base the Freight Charge on the schedule quantity. We agreed that the Quantity to be considered for Freight Charge is based on their Shipment Tonnage Agreement (which is weighed on the Vendor 2's side). Then for the Schedule Line Qty, we have to take the Average Weight from our side and from their side, and that should be the Schedule Line Qty. The Amount to be posted in PGR line item should be the amount from the Schedule Line Qty and the Freight Charge based on the Shipment Tonnage Agreement and the Material Cost will be valuated with the sum of these values. At the end of the Month, we create an Invoice for the 2 Vendors at the same time: one with Freight Charge the other on is the Stock Amount.
So for this requirement, is there a way we can add another Quantity, based on the Shipment Tonnage Agreement to calculate the Freight Charge inside, And the Transporter Vendor, in the Schedule Line Conditions to be included in the PGR?
Please suggest me configurations to do this also.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

    Hi Cruz,
If your requirement is to bill on the monthly average basis for the freight vendor, you can create new condition type for freight based on quantity. Use the calculation type 'M' - Quantity monthly price, in conjunction with the scales and use the scale basis 'C' if the freight cost is fixed based on your shipment agreement.
If your agreement is based on no.of shipments use the scale basis 'S' - no. of shipping units.
Even if these two are not suiting use the scal basis 'G' - formula and define the calculation based on your requirement.
Once this is configured for the condition type. Then maintain the conditiona values accordingly.
    Hope this is helpful.

    Satya

  • Reflecting Freight Charges in Material MAP

    Hi,
I have a requirement to reflect freight charges in material MAP. This can be done when the charges are reflected in the PO price. However, this is the client's situation:
    1. A contract has been established for freight services
    2. Material is purchased via normal PO (freight charges not included)
    3. A release order is created against the freight contract for freight services (potentially different vendor frm material supplier)
The question is, how can we reflect the cost incurred for freight services into the material MAP?

    Hi
What I understand by your post is that you have  two seperate POs for material vendor and freight vendor .In thsi case freight charges will not hit your inventory account ,but will hit a expense account (P&L account).Inorder to hit the freight charges to inventory account ,you need to create a new condition type as Delivery charges.Include the delivery charges in the material vendor PO .Now enter your freight amount against the freight condition type .Also mention the freight vendor code by clicking on the blue icon. This will ensure that the freight amount will be inventorised ,and will be included in MAP of the vendor ,Also you can perform MIRO seperately for material vendor and freight vendor

  • Purchase Analysis Excluding Freight Charges

    Dear Expert,
Our purchase analysis report by ap invoice is exclusive freight charges, is it the norm?  Is there anyway to include freight in the purchase analysis so that we can reconcile it against our purchase report?
    Regards,

    Hi
In purchase analysis report you got Accessable value only.  I think there is no way to add frieght charges in that report.

  • Freight Charges Mandatory for Particular Vendor?

    Dear Experts,
i want freight Charges Mandatory for Particular vendor while creating PO in pricing conditions?

    Hi
firstly check on whta keys you have maintained the condition records
if itis with various keys like vendor plant material etc , then check is it satisfying all???
now for your purpose just create access sequesnce with VENDOR (plant can be included ),
now delete all old records created for the fright condition
now assign this vendor in the Fright condition , also you can mark this condition as cant process manually if you dont want user to make any change to thsi condition )
create new record only specifying vendor as key point
    now create Po and check

  • Freight Charges are created as Separate Invoice not within the line items

    Hi Folks,
    I have a peculiar problem here :
I will assign the freight cost to the items that are getting shipped during shipping either to the lines or to the delivery,
I Ship the line and create autoinvoice master program.
Expect that one invoice is generated with the lines that is shipped with the freight charges included in the invoice.
But there are two invoices generated with line items on one invoice and freight charges on the other.
We have a setting where in the freight charges are shown as separate line in the invoice.
This issue cannot be reproduced at will. This is happening in some cases only...
    Any pointers towards it...
    Regards,
    Prasad

    Hi Lukasz,
I compared the item line and freight line in the RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL table....i see the following differences.
    1) Shipment_number for item line is 2 and that of freight line is 0
    2) Line_id is different for both
    3) original_gl_date is populated only for the freight line.
    4) customer_trx_id is different for both the lines.
I see since the customer_trx_id is different the invoices are different.
I think how did this populated differently..
I tried creating a test case wherein trying out same scenarios given in the point no.1,2,3. The system is generating one invoice with item and frieght in one invoice.
If the issue is with only customer_trx_id different. This field is an autogenerated sequence RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_S.nextval. How did this populate different sequence for item and freight lines?

  • Freight Charges in Service PO

    Hello All
For the Service Po, one main service line is maintained  with 1 (AU) & one Sub Services line is maintain ( Qty u2013 5 Ea ) & freight charges are maintain at item level ( Pricing Procedure)
(Freight condition is Header, item & Group Condition) is Rs 800/- for total Po Value.
    Details of Freight Condition:
Condition class A (Discount or surcharge)
    Calculat.type B (Fixed amount)
    Condit.category B (Delivery costs)
    Cond.control C (Changed manually)
    Condit.origin C (Manually entered)
    CASE1
In Service PO, if GR BASED IV & SERVICE BASED IV is selected.
Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea)  & in GRN amount capture for the delivery cost is Rs 800/- & QTY 5 AU
But during MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 4000/- & Qty 5 AU because it is calculating on Total qty of Line items 5 * 800.
This happens, only if Service based IV is selected.
    CASE2
In Service PO, if ONLY GR BASED IV is selected.
Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea) & GRN amount capture for the delivery cost is Rs 800/- & QTY 1 AU
During MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 800/- & QTY 1 AU. Which is Correct
But if two Service entry is done for the Total Po Qty (5 Ea) & total amount capture in GRN for the delivery cost is Rs 800/-& QTY 2 AU for the two service entry sheet.
But During MIRO. The Frieght Amount is coming 1600/-  & Qty 2 AU
    Kindly suggest
    Thanks
    Rajesh

    Hi,
Check the customization in SPRO  -- Materials Management -- Invoice Verification -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Incoming Invoice --- Configure How Unplanned Delivery Costs Are Posted If you want to distibut then leave it blank. If you want to store in different GL then select 2
Secondly  while doing MIRO at header level go to details tab and maintain the unplanned delivery cost if you want to get distribute in diffferent line item

  • Freight charges in PO

We are currently on SRM_SERVER 550 on a Extended Classic Scenario.
How do we meet the below requirements.
    1. Add a freight amount automatically to the PO line item for specific vendor.  In R/3 its possible using condition records. How is it possible in SRM ?
    2. This freight amount has to be charged to another Cost Center that has been specified for Freight. How can this be done in SRM ?
    Rgrds,
    Sohail

    HI Shivanesh,
You will first have tio initialise the Freight charges from Administration  - System initialisation - Document settings Below you will have to tick the box 'Manage Freight n Documents' . having Done this you will have to go into Administartion - Definitions -General and freight where you can define all teh trypes of freight applicable.
Have defined this these will appear automatically in the Documents.
