"Amount you own" due to credit card failed authorization. Please help
I was using a prepaid creditcard on my iTunes account but I didnt know it ran out, I downloaded Angry Bird Space HD from the app store after that and now I have a certain amount I own apple because it failed to authorize the prepaid credit card yet allowed me to install the app. I'm going to buy an iTunes gift card tonight, will that allow me to repay the amount due? Because I don't want to get banned or anything bad like that.
Also if anyone else has had this happen to them before please tell me what you did. Thanks!
Yes, just enter the new card details and click done when finished. It will then charge the new card for the amount owed.

To create an Apple ID without a credit or debit card, there is a specific series of steps that have to be processed in order to allow the payment to be set as none on creation of the account.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account without a credit card

If the specific steps have not been processed, a credit or debit card will be required to complete the setup of the account.
However, it can be removed and payment method changed to none as long as there is not an outstanding balance. At this point an iTunes gift card can be used as form of payment.

I don't think that debit cards are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined. You could try contacting iTunes support but I don't think that you will be able to use it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If you don't have a credit card then are iTunes gift cards available in your country ? They are not available in all countries and they are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), so you won't be able to use those from another country. -

You can't change to 'None' until you clear up the previous payment problem. Add a fresh iTunes gift card, or add a credit card, and then once the billing issue clears, you can choose 'None' again.

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined (but you might not be able to use a debit card) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

i am from philippines and i created my psn with singapore because there is no other option out there to register as a philippine based psn..my problem is i cant purchase thru ps store using my credit card because my credit card provider is from my country philippines and my psn country is singapore will obviously will not match..it is not our fault when ps devs did not provided philippines psn account option

Hi,
I got my macbook pro early 2011 15in i7 for like 2 years now and i have a problem since yesterday.
I tried to open an MP4 with VLC (1080p) and to my surprise the screen turns black after some stripes i reboot my mac and the loading screen has green stripes in it, but when it finishes loading it just stays gray and doesn't turn on.
I let it go for like 10 minutes nothing happened and it's just when i restarted it with a hard shut down that it worked again, i reset the PRAM and SMC too.
Today what it does is, when i try to open a game or a 1080p video with any player it just cashes and becomes wierd, even watching videos on youtube makes it crash.
I tried to reinstall Mac OS x Mountain Lion but it says that it can't be done because my disk is not on a GUID partition scheme which i tried to change but it didn't work.
And when i go to the recovery or to the windows partition it just turns blue with black stripes.
I did a lot of researches on this but i found nothing so if you could help me please that would be very nice here are some pictures that i tookI would love to but i can't do that right now because of some work i have to do on it, i haven't starded photoshop yet to see if it's gonna crash again but i also installed Adobe Air 3.8 yesterday and i wonder if that's what caused it to crash, i just uninstalled it from my computer i don't know if it's gonna do anything to it.

Did you actually watch the movie? You get 30 days in which to view it and if you didn't watch it, that could be why you are getting that message. If you have watched the movie and you're sure that is has expired by now, contact iTunes Store Support and seek their help.
Change the country in the upper left. - and click on Purchases, billing and redemption to proceed.

You can also use prepaid iTunes cards, if those are available in your country. PayPal is also an option if you're in the US.

If you have already created the Apple ID, yes. You can add the card - it will authorize $1.00 (USD) which will be released. At that point, you can then change the payment method to None - Then done.
