Amp for pla

Question

You know I said in a post about the Zen Vision M and me wanting to use amps on headphones to maximize battery life? Well these are expensi've, but just read what they do:

Its an amp that is seperate and does actually stop the player having to dri've the headphones, so the battery life would be longer if you bought this. Don't know how much longer, but possibly by a significant amount.

Yeah lol. I guess so, and I also guess that I wouldn't pay that much just to change the battery life by a small amount.
Though I have noticed with my Zen Vision M, even on the headphones that come with it that have a very low Impedence rating (would allow less power to power the sound, so can be on at lower volumes with same power output as larger headphones)
I still notice with alot of my tracks (even with the smart sound feature on or off), the volume is low even at almost full. Especially when there is a slight bit of background noise.
Are there any headphones someone can link me to, that have great frequency response, a low impendance to allow me to have volume as low as possible (Around 8ohms would be great), and great bass and good sound stage so it sounds better than standard headphones, and offer some type of sound blocking? but also keeping them releti'vely cheap?
I know I'm asking of a lot, but could someone link me to a few possibilities?
TYPE OF HEADPHONES:
I've tried the in ear headphones by the way, and they don't fit my ears, and I've also tried the new ones that go into the ear canel, and they aren't very good I dont think.
I don't feel comfortable wearing them, and they don't offer as good sound as I expected, and still have to have volume on normal to hear them since they produce a very low sound to protect the ears, but they do offer sound blocking, but...no
Ones I do want though are the standard put on ear ones, but keeping them small so they can be walked about with on the streets but still offer all the points of above.

NOTE:
I also have a Zen Vision M, so it has no removable battery ... and no, changing batteries after 40 hours wouldn't have been a problem for me, as I have a wall recharger that recharges AA/AAA batteries over night, and would last about 4 Zen Vision M charges anyway before a change.Message Edited by flame on 02-0-2006 05:6 PM
