Hello.
As I understood the problem: FIB is limitted to 192K prefixes (while full BGP view requires 500K+).
This is due to the RP you are using - RSP720-3C-GE, this is not because of RAM memory.
Do be able to process full BGP table you need XL version, for example, RSP720-3CXL-GE.
PS: please find datasheet here - http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/7600-series-routers/product_data_sheet0900aecd8057f3b6.html
PS2: please write your questions/comments in English.

  • Memory upgrade to 1GB RAM on Satellite A60

I have Satellite A60 and I want to update the memory from 256MB to 1GB
    Please can I do it?

    Hi
Maybe the link to this Toshiba Satellite A60 memory website could help you too:
    http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=8333&ft=m&st=3
As mentioned there is only one upgradeable memory slot and you could use the 200-Pin PC2700 (333Mhz) DDR SODIMM modules.
Usually its not matter what manufacture it is. Only the memory specifications are important.
    Bye

  • What can I tune to make the database use less memory in a 1GB ram notebook?

    Hi,
Our notebook has 1GB ram only, running Windows XP Pro, Oracle10g Database, Oracle9i Application Server. It consumes about 1.4 - 1.5GB ram where it's already start using the virtual memory, therefore have some performance issue with it especially when try to startup the services.
I'm not a DBA but I would like to get some advice on what and how can I tune the database to use less memory since the notebook is used for demo application only, so we save memory resource and make the notebook runs faster.
    Please advise.
    Thank you.

In your case you could use 10g on XP. The only XP not supported is Home Edition.
Coming back to the issue, since 9iR2 Oracle recommendation is to provide 1G for each AS node (infrastructure and middle tier). If you have this on the same box, by itself on the Enterprise install will consume more than 1G.
Tuning 10g database won't make much difference. If you install AS 10gR2 it includes a 10gR1 Database as infrastructure database you could use for demo purposes.

  • Smart paging Question , What happen if i don't enable smart paging and available Memory is about 1GB and the VM need 3GB for Booting ?

    Hi ,
I configure a dynamic memory With 512 MB for a VM , and available memory 1GB
what happen when I boot the VM , While it actually need 3GB for booting - Note I don't configure Smart Paging ?
    Thanks.

You won't be able to boot at all.
pagefile and dynamic memory only comes into play when you don't have enough memory on the host, to support the 'startup RAM' on the VM, and when the VM does a
    reboot.

  • Upgrading my iPod 5 Touch to iOS 7.1.1 w/o enough memory for (2.1GB software upgrade), now iPod stuck!

Tried upgrading my iPod Touch 5G today to iOS 7.1.1 but didn't realize that I needed 2.1GB worth of needed internal memory for this update. I only had about 800MB of unused memory in my iPod 32GB Touch 5G before starting the iOS 7.1.1 download.
So now, when it turns on, I only see a white Apple lightning cable with an arrow pointing to iTunes icon.
I plugged the lightning cable into the computer and after the driver loaded up iTunes, I was told that my iPod was in 'Recovery Mode'?
It said if I wanted to restore my iPod, I needed to restore it to it's factory settings which erases all my data, apps, music, texts, settings, pictures, videos, EVERYTHING!!
Is there a way for me NOT TO LOSE EVERYTHING NOW???????? If I do go through with restoring my iPod, can I retrieve all my PHOTOS and VIDEOS I have stored on my iPod?? along with my texts, iMessages, emails, etc???
I read I think that after iTunes deletes everything and then updates to (iOS 7.1.1), it give's you the option to install back what was once on the iPod (because Apple supposally saves everything before deleting everything in order to install new iOS????)
HELP ME GET BACK TO WHAT I HAD BEFORE I TRIED UPLOADING iOS 7.1.1 (believe I was using iOS 6.(?) before this 'distaster'.
Thanks for any help in advance!!!!!

Your computer sounds like it's a few years old, Apple would NOT stock RAM for it. I'd recommend OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial. Both are reputable, have good service and very competitive prices. OWC has great support, you can do an online chat with them and they can answer any questions you may have.

  • Certain Java applets are crashing after increasing Memory Size to 1GB

The default java memory stellent uses in 384MB in the intradoc.cfg file. I recently updated both max and min to 1GB. Now I'm not saying memory increase is causing the crashes but I'm guessing. Say if I go to configeration manager applet and try to add a value or property, after clicking add the java applet freezes and I have to close the browser and restart again and same thing happens. Now the machine has in total 2GB of memory. I know that if java uses shared memory space (as the memory is increased to 1GB) with other application unpredictable random may happen. What do you think?

    Hi,
i need do modify the intradoc.cfg to increase java memory. Can you send me all modifications that you apply in your intadroc file?
    thanks!

  • 1gb memory now, should I go to 2gb?

I love my Macbook a lot but it is SO SLOW with what I'm doing.
I run Ableton, Camino and share files with my girlfriend over our wireless and this thing is absolutely dog slow. I can launch Live, Camino and have an iChat with my honey and it's almost unresponsive.
I've got my 30gb Ipod, M Audio Axiom, MOTU Ultralite, NI 4Control and a 160 gb firewire drive attached and that's it.
2gb is tempting but is it going to make any difference whatsoever or is this just what the Macbook is like and I should learn to live with it.
I'm using it with an external monitor in clamshell mode if it makes any difference, DVI Widescreen at 1680x1050.
The other thing that bugs me, and I'm sure I should start another thread about it is that the remote is unbelieveably unresponsive, like click wait 5 minutes, click, spinning beach ball, etc etc with the eventual hard power off.
UNIX systems shouldn't be like this, it's kinda getting on my nerves

Running this over the weekend with a reboot I've got
about 1.7 Million Page In and 75,000 Page Outs ... do
you think this is a good indication that I need some
    more memory?
That's working normal for 1GB of RAM. I would go with 2GB though. I think you may be running into problems with that monitor attached. The graphics circuit uses memory from your 1GB of RAM. It doesn't have it's own dedicated RAM like a MacBook Pro does.

    Hi,
I would like to purchase "Memory Master - 2-Pack 1GB PC2-5300 DIMM Laptop Memory Kit".
Everything looks perfect however it's missing the "SO"
I only see "PC2-5300 in the image of the package.
    Is this a typo?
In searching I find no "DIMM" for laptop. They are all "SODIMM".
I understand "DIMM" to be about twice the length of "SODIMM".
    Thanks in advance.

I wonder why there is only one bank with 512mb and two banks with 2gb. Is each slot a bank? There are only 2 memory slots.
It does seem to have much less disk activity and respond quicker however I have to return this and get my own memory. Each 1gb memory card is Black Diamond Series certified memory M533DN-1024BD10.

  • X4 Memory Support on MS-6378 ...

    Hi!
This mainboard might be old but i'm still using it.
My mainboard is MS-6378, which is based on VIA Apollo KLE133 chipset for AMD Socket-A CPU.
I bought this RAM stick that is PC133 512MB SDRAM, double-sided, 16-chips, but it's 64Mx4 IC organization (this is what the dealer told me).
When i plug this stick into my MS-6378, my system won't boot with beeping sounds.
I swapped back with my PC133 256MB 32Mx8 IC module and the mainboard works fine!
    Help!
What is the memory support for this mainboard? Does this board support my 64Mx4 module?

Supports four memory banks using two 168-pin unbuffered
       DIMM.
    - Supports a maximum memory size of 1GB (256MB DRAM
       technology).
    - Supports 3.3v SDRAM DIMM.
    - NO support ECC Function.

  • Memory density clarification!!!

I started another thread on this, but the update to that thread is big enough to have its own thread. However, for the history the link to that thread is https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=127102. In a nutshell in that thread I wanted to know if I could mix memory modules of different densities on my X58 Platinum SLI. I had previously mixed densities on my Asus P4 build, so why not with my MSI I7 build? Unlike Microsoft I knew Intel would not go backwards with capability. However, the moderators on this site, my X58 Platinum SLI user’s manual, self described gurus on this site, and even MSI tech support with 2 different support tickets all told me I could not mix memory modules of different densities! But I carried on thinking that they were all wrong. As you can see by the supporting picture evidence they are all WRONG and my thinking is right. You CAN mix memory modules of different densities. Not only can you mix them, but it works well enough to overclock. I currently have 2GB memory modules in slots A0-C0 and 1GB memory modules in slots A1-C1. As you can see the BIOS as well as Vista both report the correct 9GB. If you do the math there is only one way to get 9GB and that’s to mix memory module densities.
Moderators: don’t be so quick to tote the MSI line if you have not seen it with your own eyes!
End users: if you suspect something is wrong in your manual it probably is. Most mobo manufacturers copy instructions from one mobo model to another and frequently put out false information. As we can see MSI is no exception since they published the following lines:
      - DDR3 memory modules are not interchangeable with DDR2 and the DDR3
standard is not backwards compatible. You should always install DDR3
memory modules in the DDR3 DIMM slots.
      - In Three/ Dual-Channel mode, make sure that you install memory modules of
the same type and density in different channel DIMM slots.
Anyway . . … I wanted you all to know that you don’t have to throw away memory modules if they are not the same density. If everything about the memory modules are the same except for the density the SPD capabilities of your mobo will sort the rest out!
There were some pictures here, but sorry I had to stop hosting them at 3:42p, 21 May. Just a bandwidth limitation, that's all. Yeah, I know about photobuket and the like.

I am not really sure if you are seeing the full picture here.  The fact that you had no problems when mixing different memory modules on two different platforms does not prove anything.  Statistically, it is not significant enough to come up with a general statement like "the manual is wrong" or "yes, you can mix, no problem".  That is simply not
very responsible as part of general advice.
Nobody here will tell you that unidentical memory modules will ultimately cause problems on every system.  It can work just fine (just like in your cases), however, most of us have had to do with many systems in the last couple of years and we have come across users with many different system configurations here and in other forums.  There are numerous cases in which mixing memory unidentical memory modules led to unstable or unbootable systems.  There are also numerous cases that were issue free.  Even if the success rate is/was (let us say) 66%, are you really serious in trying to tell us to ignore a 33% failure rate just because you did not run into any problems on two systems?
I have mixed my Kingston HyperX KHX8500D2K2/2G sticks with a kit of G.Skill-Kit F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ memory modules on some of the systems I had here in the last couple of month.  And yes, there were cases in which that worked just fine.  However, it caused horrible stability problems on some of the configurations I tested and these issues could be simply resolved by using identical modules. A friend of mine recently bought a second pair of OCZ DDR2-800 modules (same model he already had) and ran into sincere bluescreens and system crashes.  He talked to OCZ and after they made him compare the production dates of the modules, it came out that the newer kit used different memory chips.  OCZ exchanged the old kit for another kit of the same revision as the newer one.  Why:  Because they are very well aware of the fact that stability problems are not unusual  in such cases.
I am honestly wondering what you are actually trying to prove with this thread.  If your system is stable with your memory mix, that is wonderful for you.  No doubt about that.  But, again, just because you had success regarding your specific configuration, this does not mean that this will be true for all system configurations.  This kind of Inductive reasoning is rather misleading.
You are claiming the manual is wrong.  Well, it isn't.  If MSI removes the remark "In Three/Dual-Channel mode, make sure that you install memory modules of the same type and density in different channel DIMM slots." from the manual, what are you going to tell users that actually have problems that disappear once identical memory modules are installed?  They will say:  Why isn't there a note in the manual that advises system builders to use identical modules?
Dual and Triple Channel operation is all about synchronous read & write access to the system memory to enhance system performance.  How synchronic can read/write access be on systems with an asynchronic memory configuration?
One more thing:  I have read through your other thread again and as far as I see it, you are not referring to the density of the memory modules, but to the capacity/size of the modules (1 GigaByte vs. 2 GigaByte).  Memory Density and Memory Capacity/Size are not the same things:
The term "memory density" refers to the kind and organization of the memory chips that are used on a memory module.  Corsair's Datasheets do not specify the memory density.  But let's have a look at a Kingston Datasheet for Comparison:
    http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KVR1333D3N9K3_3G.pdf [3 x 1 Gigabyte]
This quote from the datasheet refers to the Memory Density:
    Quote
    eight 128M x 8-bit
    "128M x 8-bit" means a memory density of 1024 M-bit (or 1 GBit (note: not MByte/GByte)).
    Now look at this kit:
    http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KVR1333D3N9K3_6G.pdf [3 x 2 Gigabyte]
The memory capacity/size of the module has doubled, yet the density is the same:
    Quote
    sixteen 128M x 8-bit
    Again: 128M x 8-bit is 1024M-bit (or 1G-bit).
The memory size/capacity depends on the number of 128M x 8-bit Chips that are used on the module: 16 x 1024 Mbit = 16384 Mbit.  If you devide that number by 8 (bit -> byte) you get your 2GByte. Although the memory capacity differs (1GB vs 2GB), the memory density is identical (1 Gbit in both cases).
    One more example for comparison:
    Instead of 128M x 8-bit, the density can also be 64M x 8bit for a give 1024MByte Module.
    Example:
    http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/KVR1066D3N7_1G.pdf [1 GByte]:
    Quote
    based on sixteen 64M x 8-bit DDR3-1066 FBGA components.
    Density is:  64M x 8-bit = 512 MBit x 16
If 512MBit modules are combined with 1024MBit modules (different density), the chance that the system will not boot at all or be horribly unstable is very high.
    Quote
    Yes, the manual is wrong.
No, it is not.   It states the adequate compatibility conditions for synchronous/interleaved multi-channel operation.
    Quote
there are no specific DDR3 slots.
There are six slots on your board that are specifically for DDR3.
    Quote
DDR3 memory modules are not interchangeable with DDR2 and the DDR3
standard is not backwards compatible. You should always install DDR3
memory modules in the DDR3 DIMM slots.
This is actually a very important piece of advice.  For experienced users it may fall into the same category as "Attention! Hot Beverage" on coffee-to-go cups and the "don't use the microwave oven to dry (living) pets" in some microwave user manuals.  In the last two years I have met at least five users that wondered why the board won't boot after forcing DDR memory modules into DDR2 slots or DDR2 memory sticks into DDR3 slots.

  • Apple store only recommends adding 2 1GB cards, can I just get 1 for 1.5GB?

    Hi,
I'm a graphic designer who has never had to deal with IT issues before, but I switched companies and now I'm the IT person...
I have a 20" iMac (late 2006), that came with 2 512MB memory cards for 1GB total. I am having a problem with my adobe creative suite products, where if I run more than one at the same time, one will quit on me. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this could be a memory problem. According to adobe, 1GB memory is the minimum it recommends to run the programs simutaneously.
In addition, I often get the "out of memory" message when I'm printing and/or exporting files, so I think I do want to upgrade.
My question: When I look up my model on the iMac store, it only gives me the option of buying 2 1GB cards of memory to upgrade me to 2GB total memory. But, I would think I could just buy 1 1GB card and replace just one of my current cards for a total of 1.5 GB?? My only concern with doing this is that the apple store does not give me this option, so maybe there is a reason I would not want to?
Please advise if I can do this (if I do, what 1GB card should I buy?), and if I can, would I want to? Or should I just go for the 2 1GB cards?
I don't really want to spring a $350 charge on my boss when $175 may cut it, but I don't want to spend $175 and then have to upgrade again.
Thank you very much in advance.

OK Corsair ram working great for me, 8 month ago I bought one of the same 1GB Corsair module's from Fry's. I added it to the stock 512MB upgrading my Core Duo to 1.5GB. I will also continue to suggest to others that Corsair is a very good Ram supplier.
    Corsair's warranty:http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/warranty.html
This lifetime warranty applies to parts that were purchased from Corsair-authorized resellers, or were supplied by Corsair directly. Authorized resellers are resellers who are listed on Corsair’s web site at the time of module purchase.
Also Newegg, CompUSA, Fry's and other's are on there resale list:

I have read many of your FAQ pages, Thank-You I realy have learned alot from all your hard work. Please consider adding Corsair to your FAQ ram page, maybe as something like, (poor man's ram or more affordable ram) with a warranty.
    Thank's again!

  • UPGRADING AND MIXING MEMORY ON MY MAC PRO QUAD CORE DUAL 2.8 (Xeon)?

    Hello,
I have a Mac Pro Quad Core Dual 2.8GHz (Xeons) with 4GB of memory (2 x 1GB Apple modules + 2 x 1GB other brand - Shown as "Manufacturer 0x855D") and now I want to fill the other 4 memory slots by adding an additional 16GB (4 x 4GB modules) for a total of 20GB of RAM.
    My 2 questions are:
1.- In which order/pattern should I install these new 4 X 4GB modules along with my original Apple 2 x 1GB modules and the "Manufacturer 0x855D" 2 x 1GB modules the best way (for better performance)? - I have heard stories that if I do it improperly, I could slow down my Mac Pro...
This is how I have them configured right now:
    Raiser A / DIMM 1 = 1GB (Manufaturer "0x830B") - I assume this is the Apple memory, right?
    Raiser A / DIMM 2 = 1GB (Manufaturer "0x830B")
    Raiser A / DIMM 3 = Empty
    Raiser A / DIMM 4 = Empty
    Raiser B / DIMM 1 = 1GB (Manufacturer "0x855D") - How can I find which manufacturer is this?
    Raiser B / DIMM 2 = 1GB (Manufacturer "0x855D")
    Raiser B / DIMM 3 = Empty
    Raiser B / DIMM 4 = Empty
2.- What brand would be most compatible to work with my Apple 2GB (2 x 1GB) factory memory? Kingston? Crucial? Mushkin? iRam? Corsair? OWC? (Does OWC sell their own brand? or which one do they carry?-its not specified on their web)
Thank you so much in advance for all your help!

Ram should be installed minimally in matched pairs and optimally in matched quads. This means the memory modules are the same size and specifications. They should also be equipped with the Apple-certified style of heat sink.
Brand really doesn't mean much as long as they work.
