"An AFP System Error Occurred"

We have a new intel Xserve:
10.4.10
7 GB RAM
+All software updated+
Periodically, when people try to connect via AFP (10.4.10 intel+ppc macs), we get the dreaded "An AFP System Error Occurred" message...the only way to fix it seems to be to restart AFP services or reboot the server.
Ideas?

I know I seem stuck on an idea, but if new sessions can't be started and this message is coming up, my gut says that the max threads is a real possibility. in RWB, see the status of Integration Engine - is it green or not...........i think it will not be green..........if it is not green, then see in the below messages, if you get any error message....................
just go to SICF and check all the services are running or not..........
in RWB, see in message monitoring what is happening to messages during the last 2 hours.............

Please Help - "page error" / a system error occurred

I am very basic with Coldfusion Developed websites and pretty awesome on HTML and PHP. While working on a website I made an HTML change and added a line to a page. All works well on the test website/server but after uploading the changed page the page went offline/errored a day later.
I have an error receipt and am hoping to resolve this issue with some insight from a good Coldfusion Developer or Programmer.

I'm a user of "Adobe Reader for Android" in Japan. (This content is translated from Japanese.)
When I open any PDF file with Adobe Reader for Android and put annotation comment in japanese, "System error" occurs.
Here is my steps.
1. Open arbitrary pdf file with Adobe Reader for Android.
2. Tap the pencil icon.
3. Tap the "T" mark icon.
4. Tap any point int the view and input dialog box opens.
5. Input any comment in japanese and tap "Save" button.
6. Then "System Error" toast occurs and there isn't saved comment in the view.

When connecting to cube via msmdpump.dll, an error pops up saying the following system error occurred: the server threw an exception

users are able to pick the SSAS database and cube, it's at the final step and suddenly excel had this error:

Other users have no such issues at all

In trying to activate BI content, 'InfoObject Actual for Netweaver Demo', on clicking install after selecting the grouping settings, i get the error message

The error indicates missing or inactive message/enqueue server or network problems.
Please follow the steps below to help troubleshoot the problem
1. Logon to each server separately and goto SM12->Extras->Diagnostics to test the connections for the enqueue server. This will test the access of each server.
2 Use SMGW and SM59 to test the RFC connections. See SAP Note 47682.
You may want to have your network administrator/Basis people test the connections & analyse the network.
Use the message server/logon group testing tool "lgtst" (Note 64015), & the "niping" program (Note 500235) to diagnose the network.
Have a look at attached note 124562 in order to check if you have a hostname resolution problem.
Check your DNS / network setting that this kind of problems can not lead to blocking situations of the dispatcher.
To avoid the blocking of the dispatcher you can set the parameter
rdisp/reverse_name_lookup = 0 to avoid such situations.

AFP System Error

Hi folks,
I have an OS X server running 10.4.11. For the past week or so, I have to restart AFP services every morning. When users try connecting to AFP shares, they are getting an "AFP system error". The only thing that fixes it is restarting the service (or the server, obviously).
When this first started, the system was at 10.4.8. Odd thing was when trying to install the 10.4.11 combo update, it said that it couldn't install. I had to do the 10.4.9 combo update, then the 10.4.11 combo update. Unfortunately, despite this being a bug with 10.4.8 the updates didn't change anything.
I've tried changing the authentication method from 'Any' to 'Standard' and back to 'Any' with no change.
Had a look at the AFP logs. When attempting to connect the access log reports the user logging in, and then three seconds later logging out. In the AFP error log, there are a few lines of 'The server wasn't able to start (Unable to register IPC port)' which are from the afternoon (the AFP system errors happen in the morning). Not sure if that is relevant or not.

Ringback Tones: System error occurred. Please try again later. code: 4033

I am consistently getting this message when attempting to manage my Ringback tones with the VZW Media Manager, it partially comes up then that error appears.
"System error occurred. Please try again later.
code: 4033"
Any ideas? I've sent this to Verizon but received no response.
Another thing, the Media Store is extremely slow most of the time and unresponsive, are they planning on resolving this issue?

Ok, this is even more weird, some serious system issue apparently.
I am unable to login to the Media Store now, it tells me it is unavailable.
Then when attempting to click the "Manage" link on the Media Store homepage under "Ringback Tones", it redirects me to a Yahoo! Page that says "Page Not found".
Anyone else having these issues?

and I think due to above Error, Index on a Particular Attribute (EMP_ID) of a DIMENSION DIM_EMP is getting dropped from FEW of the Partitions (Folders) and started getting new error:

I followed the above path and did not find file 688.DIM_EMO.EMP_ID.fact.map in folder PARTITION_2013Q31.0.prt. Once I rebuild the Index (ProcessIndex) for this partition, I am able to See file 688.DIM_EMO.EMP_ID.fact.map.
But again when next time I get error "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service", Then 688.DIM_EMO.EMP_ID.fact.map will be dropped and will not be available in folder PARTITION_2013Q31.0.prt.
Anyone had similar issue. Could you please share your experience and resolution if any.

In your scenario, the issue occur at sometimes, right? Base on my research, the issue can be caused by that calculation estimate exceeded available memory. Possibly due to possible number of dimension members and sizes of keys. And 32bit environment didn’t
allow for any expansion to the SSAS memory space.
To avoid this issue, please try to use userva to fine tune the 3GB setting down to 2900 since /3GB is the likely
cause (has been for most other customers who encountered the same problem before). The KB Articles below discuss that setting in detail.
How to use the /userva switch with the /3GB switch to tune the User-mode space to a value between 2 GB and 3 GB

Hello,
We are using Business Objects 6.5. The Send document functionality was working fine since we went live (almost 3-4 years)
However recently we started getting the "You have insufficent rights to send or publish the document"
Then after restarting the server I am getting the following error:
A system error occurred. (Error: INF 00130) (1402)
Users can save the documents in the Corporate as well as Personal documents folder. Then can refresh the documents also.
Any help will be of great help, as it is occurring in Live Environment.

The server added fine as a VPN Server in iManager. However, further
to creating a C2S Profile (tried Default and new one) as soon as I click
OK to exit C2S config, I get:
System error
A system error occurred
Any ideas guys?
Tried rebooting and DSRepair etc

If you have an old version of iManager, you may have problems
configuring the traffic rules or access rules on BM 3.9sp2. Try more
than one version of iManager (try other servers, try downloading a
Windows version on a PC), and make sure they are patched as far as they
want (need) to go, which is 2.7.3 and a bunch of updated plugins.

When I open the adminstrator workbench I am gettting the error " System lock occured during lock managment.
I can open other sessions such as RSPC, RRMX etc.

Hi,
I can suggest how to access administratoe workbench without using T.code:RSA1.
Go to T.code RSD1 then in Menu >Environment>Object Browser via AWB.
Try this for time being to access RSA1 and inform to BASIS guy he will solve the problem.

While transporting Key Figures from Development to Quality system, I am getting this error : " /BIC/AZPA1R_CT40-/BIC/ZPA1RBA10 (specify reference table AND reference
field)".
Here, I have changed the data type of the key figure from Number type to Amount type. Then I activated them, captured in request and when transported I got the error saying "/BIC/AZPA1R_CT40-/BIC/ZPA1RBAL9 (specify reference table AND reference field)"
These Key Figures are used in ODS.
Is there I am missing something, please tell how can I make these transports successfull.

Yes you missed to transport reference object.
Previously key figure data type is number then you have changed to Amount. While changing data type to amount You should maintain reference char like 0currency, Doc_currency......in the Unit/currency tab. ( If you use fixed unit or currency no need to maintain any reference Object).
During transpotation you need to collect this reference char with main key figure and then transport.

Can' update system, errors occurred...

I was about to update a fresh instal of Arch:
pacman -Syu
i download the packages, but when I was about to instal them there was a lot of errors with the first packge, something with a lot of files in:
/urs/lib/klibc/include/asm/<files>
here is one example:
klibc: /usr/lib/klibc/include/asm/xor_64.h exists in filesystem
how can i fix this?
