You will have to email iTunes Billing department and discuss it with them.  While they tend to not like to give refunds, they usually will give you store credit.

    Not only that but you need to report it to the App store link, not to iTunes support since it is a Mac App, not a mobile device app.

    It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
    First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

    If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
    As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

    Alot of free apps offer in app purchases which has probably happened here, things for extra points scores etc etc are offered for prices which is how the app can afford to be free via the charge in other purchases within the game.
    These are the sorts on in app purchases in littlest pet shop may have been one of these?
    If you are 100% sure that no purchse was made get in touch with apple they should be able to tell you what was purchased and when then you can take it from there?

    You'll have to contact Apple, within the receipt email there's a link stating 'problems with this download' or words similar, click on it & explain your problem.

    Interested in some kind of app monetization. You have developed new application and you make both versions, the full one for 2.99$ for example and the free one with the ads and some restrictions. Is that a right way or you prefer to make a demo version and then provide a paid one in full function?

    If thats the game that I'm thinking of, it looks like it has a lot of "In-App purchases" available. Take a look at your invoice and see if next to the charge it says "in app purchase" instead of just "app". Maybe your daughter clicked OK for an in app purchase without realizing that she was buying something?

    Did you make an in-app purchase in the app, or did you add or change the credit card details on your account when downloading the app ? If you changed your card details then you will probably have received a temporary store holding charge to check that the card is valid and active as described on the page that you posted from, which should disappear within a few days or so.

    Please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. Most of the people who will reply to your posts are, like me, your fellow users.
    As to your issue, first, make sure that you did not inadvertently make an in-app purchase. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base game but charge for additional features such as levels, "coins" and other such add-ons. Check your Purchase History to see if that reminds you as to what you might have purchased:

    If you find that this was an in-app purchase, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your device. For more information, see:

    As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

    They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases, but there are no guarantees.
    If the charge was not an in-app purchase that you made and forgot but the charges do appear in your Purchase History, contact the iTunes Store and let them know.     You cannot call anyone.  You contact them as everyone else does:  http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
    You delete the app as you do any other app.  Hold an icon until they wiggle.  Tap the "x".  This is covered in the manual.
