I create my apple id from my boyfriend macbook and its says that I have to review my itunes information , when I get to the credit card number info etc. Its keep asking me for that I dont have any credit card and I dont want to put any , what should I do?
You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.
Read this before proceeding.

I was trying to buy an app from the apple store, it asked for confirmation , when I re-entered my credit card details, got the message that your payment method is not valid!!!! How can I fix this problem?
Is this a pre-paid card thing? Or different billing address than your iTS account?

Why i cant send itunes gift using my credit card?
Why i cant send itunes gift using my credit card?
What happens when you try to send a gift ? If you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
If you are getting a message to contact iTunes Support when trying to send it then to do so (these are user-to-user forums) :
- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
- click on your country's flag
- click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
- then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If it's a different problem ... ? -
I got this message when I just finished my online ordering. "We're Sorry. Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later." and I didn't get confirmation email yet but I've been charged from my credit card already. Any suggestion please?
I am having the same issue. When I try to update my payment information I receive an error that states, "We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later.
After Adobe's servers were breached I received a phonecall from my bank, stating that someone had used my credit card at a hotel in Mexico (I live in Ohio). I closed that credit card and was issued a new card. I want to update my card information on my Creative Cloud subscription. I chatted via the web with a customer service rep today. He was anable to help me. He suggested I call the Care Center. The hold was estimated at 2 hours. All I want to do is update my card information so the next time Adobe automatically bills for my subscription the transaction doesn't bounce. -
Hi my case numbers is 30758085. I just try download apps store on my Verizon iPhone 4 but they keep ask me billling payment so I use my credit card but keep said wrong security codes so I check my apple itune balances said I owe itune 22.00 dollars but it not my apps download on my phone I always get free apps Download
Please don't post case numbers or other personal information here. None of us here (who will respond, anyway) work for Apple; we're all just fellow users.
Anyway, as regards the security code issue, this may help:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646
and as regards the balance, first make sure you didn't make any in-app purchases. Many "free" apps, particularly games, have additional levels or features that cost money. Check your purchase history in your iTunes Store account and see what you're being charged for.
Regards. -
I am trying to purchase an app on a new iPad we have purchased. I'm asked to put in my security code on my credit card for security reasons, but it will not accept my code as valid. Not sure how to proceed.
Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -
see above question
If both accounts are set up in Thunderbird, you can probably just drag-and-drop it from one account to another. Hold down control whilst doing so to make it a Copy rather than a Move, or use right-click and choose "Copy to…".
If you don't have both accounts in Thunderbird, you can send it by email. Forward it, or use "Edit As New", or use the Mail Redirect add-on.

Recently my iMac running 10.8.5 started shutting down in the middle of things like saving pics or emailing. An accompanying error message told me to contact Apple support.. here I am. If I rebooted it runs ok for a few more days. I enjoy YouTube and Hampster any suggestions?
D from BostonFirst of all thank you for your help. Second, I edited out the Anonymous UID.. and do not see anything named shutdown, Stall, Spin or Hang .... If there are any other suggestions you could make, I am so listening.

HT3702 how can i ask them to stop taking money from my credit card without my authorization?
the apple store keeps taking money saying that i buy things from my credit card. i don't know why this is happening. how do i make them stop taking maney without my authorization.
Perhaps you have had your account hacked by someone. Someone you know or a stranger. The first thing is to change the password in your Apple ID so that they cannot continue to buy things with your account. Second, if the None option is available in your iTunes account payment methods, select that and remove the bank card info.

I have an email saying that someone has tried to log into me account using my IP address . It asks that is give all y personal details, credit card etc or my account will disabled. Is it ok to do this.
NO
it's a phishing mail. Delete it and don't give them a bit of info
apple will NEVER ask for credit card info via an e-mail -
Five days ago I received an anonymous email with the subject:
Your Apple ID was just used to buy full album Elton John £12.99.Your receipt No.37930343160405752
The content started: Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 From:(my email address) followed by a very, very, very long stream of gobbledygook. There is no record of it in my i-tunes purchases or my credit card statement but that might only be because I have not updated my credit card details. Should I be worried that my account has been compromised? Does anyone know how I can get through to the right section of Apple to deal with this - all the emails I get say no-reply so I don't have an email address to contact them on.
I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this.
Thanks in advance

Hi!
My mother wanted an Ipad 3rd generation. We bought it online because of the free engraving and thinking it was hassle free.
What is SOP for buying Ipad online? I received an email (on that day) and a call (day after) that we were required to email to [email protected] or fax to 1800-1651-0554 credit card statement. Is this valid? This is my first time to buy gadget online.
Thank you.
JoUrgenaSoP is used in tangent when advisors speak about Scope of Support. I can't say for sure if this is legit or not because 800 numbers should be... but I am always weary of faxing off credit card info in this day & age.

Sometimes when I scroll up and down, the screen font gets funky.
Sometimes when I scroll down a page on a website, the screen font goes from being clear to blurry and kind of funky looking, like when you don't use Clear Type. Is there some setting I can change to prevent this from happening? With very small fonts,
