An Error in the Installation of PS CS2 on Windows 7

I haven't seen this issued addressed here on the forums yet, and I've been trolling for awhile Here's my problem: I recently upgraded my Windows Vista OS to Windows 7 (my computer is fully upgraded as far as I know since it's practically new too). During the installation process of Photoshop CS2 - after I put in my serial number - I get an installation prompt of computer jibberish. The "back", "next", and "cancel" buttons are in complete jibberish as well. If you click on any of these, I get the error "Internal Error 2842". From here the installation shuts down, and I cannot go pass GO, or collect $200. What is wrong? I installed my old Photoshop 7 onto the computer with no issues..

Any time you have a program that old, you may or may not be able to install on Win7
If you have Win7 PRO or Ultimate go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
Otherwise, report the EXACT steps you took to install... such as what did you turn OFF and did you select the "run as administrator" option

Okay ... so it's not one of the cases of bodged up ACLs on the Apple folder in Common Files. (That's been underlying a few of the recalcitrant E7W5s.

How do I correct this to download iTunes so it will run?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Error during the installation of SAPNetWeaver

i try to insall sap netweaver but there is error during the installation,the message is:

Hi Mustsap,
as the log points out, there are remainders of a previous installation of NSP DB on your computer.
Try the RegClean tool that comes with the evaluation copy. Eventualy you have to delete keys from the registry manualy. You won't be able to to reinstall before these remainders are removed.

Your SAP version?
Is it a system copy?
How exactly did you try to delete from SAP level?
Without this information, nobody here can do anything but guess.
There are a lot of SAP notes about similar problems.
But for this you will have to supply more information.
Or better; Search in SAP notes yourself!

I'm getting a message that there is an error in the installer file for the 30 day trial of Acrobat Pro - Can that be fixed?

I just tried to download - 3 times - 2 from I.E. 11 and 1 from Chrome - all get the same result that there is an error in the installer file.
I'm not seeing any way to contact Adobe directly, only forums and this one seems closest to what might be helpful. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

we got an error at the installation of the cr runtime package. We have try both
installation packages(msi) 13.01 and 13.02. But it's the same error.
We want to install this package automaticly on our computers. On 8 of 10 computers was the instalation successfully.
On the remaining 2 computers we got the following error.

Our it team have an idea. They think that the problem is the double \ at the end of the reg key path. You can find this if you search
in the code above.
Can you check this or have you an other idea to solve the problem.
