An error log is being created. HELP!!

I'm trying to rename some folders in my site files, 2 of my
folder was successfully renamed but 2 of them keeps on stopping
when it's almost finish updating all the sites that it's associated
with. The message box says:
Dreamweaver.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You wil need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.
Now, I've restarted my computer and DW a million times. And I
do not think the folder is the problem because sometimes
that folder that I want to rename I've successfully renamed
it but when I try to rename it again it will have this error.
Is dreamweaver crazy or is it me?

I can only download a song or two at a time and then I get the error message.
hmmmm. it's a little unusual to be getting an itunes crash (with that message) in the middle of a synch.
let's try enlisting some additional technical help with this one.
we'll get a crash log from itunes, and send it to so someone who can interpret crash logs.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
generate the crash log, collect the crash log, and send it to this email address
in the email:
(1) state the precise version number of itunes that you're using. (go into your "Help > About iTunes" to doublecheck.) also state the version of the ipod updater that you're using, the model of ipod, and the software version on the ipod:

(2) include the URL to this thread so that the person who gets the email has some context, but also give as much information about the context of the crashing as you can.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you could not create the Access app.
    Based on the log message, some service application may not be created well.
    You should double check whether the following service applications had been created well.
    Access Services
    Access Database Service      2010
    App Management Service
    Microsoft SharePoint      Foundation Subscription Settings Service
    Secure Store Service

  • Audit Log Not Being Created

    Hi,
    I'm using the workflow application "Audit" as an activity in my custom workflow and I'm passing the required arguments.
    In the workflow trace file, I can see that the Audit application is run using the passed parameters but no record is being created matching that information in the "log" table.
    Any ideas/suggestions?

    I agree with the anokun7. Check to make sure the action your are giving it is a valid one. ( See IDM Workflow Forms and Views pdf and search for Action Names, it will give you a list of all the valid actions) Also you can add your own attributes to the Audit object as well using the attributes variable. ( It expects a map: <map>

    <map>
    Value can be a reference, or string, or however complex you want to make it. Just be aware of what view (if any) is available at the time you call the audit. Hope this helps

    Oh yeah..The attributes will appear on the audit log reports, Based on what action and type you audited it will show up on that record. i.e Delete action, on Type User...that audit record will have a changes value which will have whatever attributes you passed to the audit object.

  • Change Log not being created

    Hello every one
    I have implemented the customer master enhancement using the baddis : 'CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS' and 'CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA' , scenario is that, I have added a new tab, to customer master screen and the new screen under that tab has 4 fields, those 4 fields are appended into KNA1 table using append structure.
    hence my four fields on screen are:
    kna1-zzappno
    kna1-zzappdate
    kna1-zzfrmno
    kna1-frmdate
    , the problem I am facing is that, system is not logging any changes in any of the field of the screen, infact when i requested change document from menu, it gives the error: place the cursor on data field, on debugging i came to know that, in the method 'GET_FIELDNAME_FOR_CHANGEDOC' , E_FIELDNAME parameter is coming empty, I tried to pass the value of the field at run time through debugger, which although removed the said error, but returned the message that no field change document exist for the field, where as field's data has been previously changed, now I cannot figure out, how to enable change log recording on the fields which i have added as an enhancement to customer master screen (XD01 , XD02 etc.)..

    Change document are only created if the fields is set for change document.
    This you set at DATA ELEMENT level. If you go to any table, take any field, double click the data element of that field. On the data element displat screen on the definition tab, you will see a block "Attribute". In this "Attribute" block, there is a field call "Change Document".
    The change documents for table fields are only created if this "change document" flag is set. Check the documentation of this flag ( change document ) for more information.

    You should have an Error batch file being created that lists those transactions in error. If you have a particular piece of data that you want, you may have to add to the RCBDFDFL.DFD (the recipient batch DFD) file and then map the content to a GVM of the appropriate name.  But start by looking at the Error batch - assuming you don't have it set to NULL.  That isn't a CSV file, but is a plain ASCII file that you can probably read.

  • UIView.dll Terminating! error in Designer when creating a BW connection

    Impossible to create a new BW connection in Designer without having designer crashing.
    In the designer logs the following error is showing !!!!!!UIView.dll Terminating!
    Creating a new connection based on any other data provider type does work only when this is based on Bex query then does the error occured.
    Customer is using Serveur :
    Server is AIX
    BOXI 3.1 - sp3
    Integration kit sp3
    Transport have been imported in SAP
    BW version 7.01
    Initially they were on Designer BOXI 3.1 FP 1.4 (where it worked) and have upgraded using

    ENTERPRISECLNT03_0-10007619.EXE
    They have desinstalled and reinstalled designer and integration kit.
    Installed on a brand new machine and the error is still there.
    Same error in standalone mode
    Tried to test from my machine in standalone mode and cannot reproduced the error.
    Customer has tried as well creating connection using ''Use Single Sign On when refreshing reports at view time'' crashes designer, it does not matter what user they use at all it is the same all time.
    Same on different client machine too.
    Any idea ? Anyone has encounterred the same problem

        Hopping you solve that customer's issue, I would like to ask you if you found the source of the error.
         Even I am trying something different than yours, I am  having the same issue as your customer.
         One MDA.LOG file is created with the same message multiple times in multiple lines. The file has not other message and the message is :
    'Failed to locate the LogFormat settings in the registry. In this case, the LogFormat will use the default format.'
    We got a BoXi 3.1 server on Windows 2003 using a CMS database in a windows MS-SQL 2005 server SP4.
    Installing BOXi 3.1SP3 the connection server did not start and the MDA.LOG wsa created. Uninstalling SP3 from it, the Connection server start, but the MDA.log is being created again.
    Could you let me know if you solved and what this MDA.log means? Thanks

    When we are releasing contracts in SRM, an error log is being generated for a user WF-BATCH with message :
    "Recipient not found
    The error ocurred by processing event RELEASED_NEWLY with GUID 4530EA86C23B007700000000B0000023 and object_id= 4400000238"(Where 4400000238 is our contract no)
    Also our contract is not being transported to CCM even though all the relevant configurations have been done in XI.
    Is this because of the error log?? What is the issue??

    if u need to release purchase order from the contract, it needs to be released first.
    from ur problme statement, it seems u haven't released that contract.

    I am using the log errors concept in oracle and recording the errors.
    My table is employees and I used the

    It has created a table called err$_employees;
    I have run the procedure and the procedure has inserted some records into the  table for unique constraint error .
    but when i rerun the same job , again it has inserted the same records whcih has created a proble now .
    How will i figure out that which records are from the first runa dn which are from the second run?
    Also i want to fail my job based on entried in the error log table i created.
    Is it possible to track whats records belong to what instance in error log table.

    If you look at the documentation you will see you can tag records that are inserted in the error log table e.g.
    insert into employees
    select ...
    from ...
    where ...
    log errors into err$_employees('My Run Identifier')
    You need to construct the string used as a tag so you can identify your individual runs.

    I have two wfe servers, in one server the logs file are being generated but another server no log files only usage files
    what could be the reason. Under central admin monitoring uls logs have been already enabled.

    I am loading Shared members for a custom dimension in Essbase.
    Error log is getting created as below.

    But that specific member is getting loaded.
    I am loading only shared member in this load and all records are shown as getting rejected even though most of them are getting loaded.This is causing issues in finding out real rejects.

    SDKLOG_YY_MM_DD , where YY=14, MM= 02, 03, and DD are the days of February, and March I've had the W540.

    This error occurs just after bootup, no programs started except windows..
    Running Windows 2000 latest version on a brand new computer.
    (pent 4 3.0 ghz 500MB ram).
    Can anyone help me with this problem? Happened after install Labview 7.0
    express. Installed twice and same problem occured with both installs.
    Labview 7.0 is the only thing installed right now. Also selected "Visual
    Basic Support" install from driver cd's.
    One other thing I just noticed. System info reports 2 processors and I
    think I only have one.

    After ignoring this problem for awhile and installing some NI DAQ boards,
    this problem is not happening anymore.
    Would urge NI to investigate further though. Messed me up for a couple of
    days, and still don't know why it happened.

  • Cannot publish get error message - log file not being created

    When trying to publish a FlashHelp project, I get an error
    message window that says "Publishing has been cancelled. Failed to
    create file: (project name).log "
    When I click okay in the message window, the publishing
    process stops. However, if I look in the SSL folder, I see the log
    file. It is a text file.
    I had this problem in January 09 but it seemed to be an issue
    with the password and path in the FTP command window. I fixed it
    and it worked fine. However, I haven't published since the end of
    January. Now, when I try to publish, it is giving me the same error
    message. I checked and reviewed the FTP window fields and they are
    fine. But I'm still getting the error message and can't publish.
    Why?
    I need to get this problem fixed ASAP and ensure that it
    doesn't occur again. What's strange is that I've got 3 other
    projects and this is the only 1 that gets this error message.

    Yes, the generation worked. I checked the log file that
    worked from the time it worked before and it seems to be the same
    as the log file that is generated when I get the error message.
    I created a new FlashHelp layout and got the same error
    message. What's really weird is there is a log file in the SSL
    folder but when you click OK in the error message, it stops the
    publish function.
    Last time I had to blow away the cpd file as if this was a
    corrupt project. But that gets to be painful. As I use templates to
    put change dates in the footers of topics and templates get lost
    when you blow away the cpd.
    Any other thoughts?
