"An error occured inside a plug-in contianed on this page"
I keep getting this error message followed by "The plug in did not initialize properly". Say I open a new browser, a file will open in quicktime once but if I go to another file it gives me this message... Anyone know what the malfunction is? I just updated my iTunes/Quicktime software and this started.
I'm really worried about it. I have a business that relies on these quicktime plugins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have created thousands of panoramic images using QTVR. Every display page directs viewers to Apple.com to download the latest QuickTime. I was about to post a 15 pano site for a chamber of commerce client and noticed that Apple had posted QT 7.4. I installed the new software and in testing, discovered that all our panos are broken. We would get "The plug in did not initialize properly".
I contacted friends in the IVRPA community and other professional VR firms and most are experiencing this issue, but on a very intermittant level.
In testing I even found that Apple's main site would crash intermitantly. Please go to www.apple.com and open the airbook ad. With QuickTime 7.4 and IE 7.0.5730.11 We have been getting intermitant lock ups. Some times you can view the Air Book ad, sometimes the ad locks up.
The same circumstances have appeared with museum sites using QT. Our own gallery failed to load this morning. www.buzz-card.com/gallery.html Two questions: are others finding similar problems? Is Apple concerned?
Just as others have said , we built a business around QTVR. The software had been fabulous in the past. However the 7.4 glitches are a serious and un-expected problem. Our clients will not accept a solution which works "sometimes".

What does this mean and how can i fix it? Every time I try to play something on QuickTime, that message pops up and I can't close it. I end up pressing Ctrl Alt Delete and ending the task, because there is no other way to end it. It's also messed up my iTunes. I try to listen to something on iTunes, or update my iPod, and it freezes. I've downloaded the latest update for both QuickTime and iTunes, but they still don't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have had that same error after installing a couple of different games on my computer such as Black and White or Virtual U. After uninstalling the games QuickTime worked again. I tried making sure the file type associates were correct for QT before uninstalling and that failed to fix the problem.
IE 7 also has its headaches. I had some success using the JavaScript method of writing the code to the page rather than using Object/Embed in the HTML. -

I'm getting this error on the dashboard page.
"An error occurred while applying your dashboard selections for this page" Error Codes: GV3MWW29
It is removed when I click "Clear my selection" from page option.
Is there any other way to remove the error without clicking "Clear My selction" everytime.

this is what i have done so far. i really nead some help asap!!!
1. Install Oracle 9i Release 2 (9.2.0.1) Enterprise Edition with the General purpose database configuration (Data warehouse works as well). At the end of the installation I chose the password management button to change passwords for the few necessary accounts: SYS, SYSTEM, OLAPSYS, SH.
2. Download the p3948480_9206_WINNT.zip from metalink, the 9.2.0.6 patchset
3. Shut down any existing Oracle9i database instances with normal or immediate priority. Stop all listener and other services running in the Oracle home directory where you want to install the patch set.
4. unzip the content of thepatch to a temp directory
5. start setup.exe under the temp directory (it will start the Oracle Universal installer 10.1.0.3)
6. install the patchset to your Oracle home, selecting the source in the temp_dir\stage\products.jar file
7. review carefully the post-installation tasks for the patchset:
Review the following sections before upgrading a database (quote from the patchset html readme):
8.2.1.1If JServer is part of the installation ensure that there is at least 10 MB of free space allocated to the SYSTEM tablespace.
8.2.1.2 Check XDB Tablespace Size
For RAC installations, ensure that there is at least 50 MB of free space allocated to the XDB tablespace.
8.2.1.3 Set the SHARED_POOL_SIZE and JAVA_POOL_SIZE Initialization Parameters
Set the value of the SHARED_POOL_SIZE and the JAVA_POOL_SIZE initialization parameters as follows:
Start the database:
SQL> STARTUP
If necessary, enter the following command to determine whether the system uses an initialization parameter file (initsid.ora) or a server parameter file (spfiledbname.ora):
SQL> SHOW PARAMETER PFILE;
This command displays the name and location of the server parameter file or the initialization parameter file.
Determine the current values of these parameters:
SQL> SHOW PARAMETER SHARED_POOL_SIZE
SQL> SHOW PARAMETER JAVA_POOL_SIZE
If the system is using a server parameter file:
If necessary, set the value of the SHARED_POOL_SIZE initialization parameter to at least 150 MB:

Log on as a member of the Administrators group to the computer where the Oracle components are installed.
Use SQL*Plus to login to the database as the SYS user with SYSDBA privileges:
sqlplus /NOLOG
CONNECT SYS/password AS SYSDBA
Enter the following SQL*Plus commands:
SQL> STARTUP MIGRATE
SQL> SPOOL patch.log

12. Install JDeveloper 9.0.4 (download it from OTN and just unzip it in a directory ... it doesn't require an oracle home)
13. Install BI Beans 9.0.4 (download it from OTN as well), run the setup.exe that comes with it and in the destination oracle home select the directory where you installed JDeveloper and give an oracle home name to it)
14. Install the BIBDEMO schema:
Create a directory on the computer that is running the Oracle9i database. This install_home directory is the location to which you will upload the data files that are required to build the BIBDEMO schema.
On the computer where BI Beans is installed, locate the bibeans_home\bibdemo_schema folder (where bibeans_home is the root folder of your BI Beans installation). Copy all of the files found in this folder to the install_home folder on your server machine.
Open a DOS prompt and navigate to the install_home folder.
Run bibdemo.bat to install the schema, using the following syntax:
bibdemo.bat <path to Oracle database files >
For example, for an instance named my9iService, enter the following:
bibdemo.bat D:\OraHome1\oradata\my9iService
You are prompted for the password for the sys as sysdba user.
The script takes approximately 15 minutes to run, depending on the machine specifications. It is normal to see some error messages while the script is running. In addition, when materialized views are being created in the database, the script will appear to stop; this is also normal. A clear message will tell you when the script has completed.
The log files (*.log) that are generated by the installation script are stored in the folder from which you ran the script.

The issue here is if the whole catalog is corrupt or just one schema. So to try and determine the status of the catalog I would try:
1) Using OEM remove all the objects you created
2) I presume you created your database using the Database Configuration Assistant? You should have used the warehouse template
3) Make sure the following accounts are unlocked and also not expired : SH, OLAPSYS
4) Make sure the password for the SH schema is SH
5) Make sure the password for the OLAPSYS account is manager
6) Install the BIBDEMO schema that is shipped with BI Beans. This in the jdev_home/bibeans/bibdemo_schema
The installation process will remove SH schema from the OLAP catalog.
7)Once this is installed use JDeveloper to see if you can create a crosstab or graph.
8) If the BIBDEMO schema works try creating your new schemas one at a time.
9) Make sure the if you define the a dimension as type time it has END_DATE (column type DATE) and TIME_SPAN (column type number) defined. Otherwise don't define the dimension as type time.

I've moved to photos from iphoto and for a while all was good. And quite exciting. My entire 15k photos have migrated and are available on all my devices.
Suddenly, I get this warning when I select or try to edit a photo: Cant Download Photo: An error occurred while downloading a larger version of this photo for editing. Please try again later.
There is an exclamation mark and a warning triangle on the picture. I am only able to test on my ibook as my Imac is out of action.
If I log in to icloud in Safari, I can down load the full sized image no problem. Any one got any ideas?Well stone me, it's started working. Nothing changed on my side..... go figure.

An unknown error occurred when Dreamweaver tried to connect to this Contrib
Hello all,
I just started having a Dreamweaver problem that's perplexing me...
I have 2 machines, a G4 and a G5 both running Dreamweaver ( I have MX2004 and 8 on both machines, this problem effects both versions on the G5 only).
Everything was humming along just fine until the other day when suddenly I was receiving error messages on my G5 stating
"An unknown error occurred when Dreamweaver tried to connect to this Contribute site".
Then my local folder containing the website that I was working on would go gray (in Dreamweaver) and lose it's folder icon. It would still look like it was there, just no icon. When I would click on the drop down triangle it would state, " The local root folder, (and the folders name), does not exist. Please select a new local folder by clicking the Manage Sites button".
I then ran a couple of tests on the G4 and it connected fine, I was able to edit, upload/download, everything as usual. I then attempted to connect to the site with Transmit on the G5...no problem.
In the site definition I remembered that it may be set up to work with Contribute sites, but this was not the case, the box was unchecked.
I then had the idea to export the site key from the G4 and grab it onto the G5 and import it into Dreamweaver...I did this AND IT WORKED! Once...after that back to the 2 usual errors.
I found a work around for now...do my editing/site building in Dreamweaver, and upload with Transmit...this works fine...I've found that the errors only happen AFTER I've connected with the site(s). I've tried this with the other sites I maintain and it was the exact same thing.
Are there any similar experiences out there? This has really got me stumped... can't imagine what it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In my case my library is on Windows 2003 server with the share mapped to drive M: This has worked for many years through both XP and Windows 7 until and update a while ago.

corrupted.
To fix this issue, I suggest that you use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to recreate the Report Server catalog databases. In addition, please make sure report server instance can connect to the report server database. For more details about Configure

I have Macbook Pro. Previous OS was Mountain Lion 10.8.5. It was running smoothly. When I have tried to clean install the NEW Maverick 10.9 it didnt work. I erase the drive then restart for boot. nad my usb boot disk was connected. When the window came for reinstall the OS. I click. click to "continue" but then it says....there has a problem with boot. But six months ago I installed it in the same way without any error or any hamper. after that i tried many times to boot and install but i failed. i tried to recover it by internet recovery. it takes few hours. after completation the recovery the reinstall window again came. i click to reinstall then it says "an error occurred while preparing the installation try running this application again mountain lion"
i tried several times but it doesn't work. now i am downloading again osx 10.8.5 dmg to try again.

Fla written made in Flash MX/AS1 jerks when published in Flash8/AS2
Have an old fla written made in Flash MX/AS1 which run OK. Opened it in Flash-8, changed publishing settings from AS1 to AS2. The resulting SWF runs jerking. What might be the reason?
