An object fed into rear feeder tray of an MX870 and is unreachable. How do I open it up?

A telephone mini usb cable fed into the rear paper tray and appears to be lodged at the point where rear and front loaded paper enters the print chamber.  Is there a proceedure to get access to that point?  I can see it but it is not reachable by removing any user service areas.

    Since switching to Firefox, links pasted into e-mail are no longer blue and clickable. What can I do to make them work again?

    The text editor is the textarea that you use on the webmail (Yahoo, Hotmail) website to compose a new mail.
    Compare that with the "Post a Reply" textarea that you use to write a new post on this forum.
    Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic.
    This button bar can also include a button to turn a link into a clickable hyperlink.
    Check the tooltip of each button by hovering with the mouse over each button.

  • Does the tool to Group and Ungroup objects still exist in word 2011 14.3.9 and if so how can one access it

    See my question !!!

    Hi Johnandhanna
    This question relates to Microsoft Office and you've posted it to an Apple community. The best place for all MS Office for Mac questions is at:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac?auth=1
    In regard your question, the answer is yes, it does still exist. You need to select the items first (so you get the 4 arrowed cross cursor) and then right-click on them to access the Grouping submenu.
    Hope this helps.

  • What does the automatic document feeder tray do?how to use it in hp photosmart 7510

    wht is the automatic document feeder tray for? how to use it?

    The ADF is used to automatically feed a number of pages for scanning, copying or faxing.  Paper is loaded into the ADF with the printed side facing up.  When you then copy (or scan or fax) the pages will be automatically pulled into the scanner mechanism one at a time and then deposited in the output tray.

  • Thermocouple output fed into two devices

    I'll research on my own, but thought I'd post here in case anyone has had similar needs/solutions.
    We have an extruder that we'd like to monitor and log data on. The majority of the signals are J and K type thermocouples that are fed into PID temperature controls. Unfortunately the PID controllers do not have retransmitter analog ouputs to scale the readings into V or mA. That would have been very convenient to interface to the appropriate DAQ hardware.
    Thus, is it possible to connect a thermocouple input based DAQ to the same thermocouple inputs to on the PID controllers without affecting the signal? One thermocuple feeding two inputs- one to the PID, the other to the DAQ. I do not have the input specs yet for the PID controllers, presume the are >1Mohm. I would be using the appropriate thermocuple wire type as needed.
    Thanks

    Once I saw a box to do it. It was custom made (with some nice OPs and lots of thoughts on how to avoid parasitic thermo emf)  to deal with µ-Volts provided by the TCs (and adds only about 2K additional error...)
    However the only correct way I can think of, is to use a TC conditioner with CJ and an 'regular' output (20mA/X-Volt) that is capable to feed two inputs. Most controls can be configured to read theses standard outputs instead of a TC.

  • My image is not being fed into my podcasts.

    Everything about my image is okay. Why is it not being fed into my podcasts?

    That depends on how you are making your feed; presumably you aren't hand-writing it (if you are you can simply remove the return). A program or service creating a feed shouldn't introduce the line return - all I can suggest is looking closely into the program and perhaps trying to contact their Support.

  • Hp officejet pro 8600 plus, document feed tray, I get streaks on copies.

    When I copy from the document feed tray, I get streaks down the centr of the paper, I cleaned the printheads, and cleaned the rollers, I don't get the streak down the center anymore, but I still get a line down the right side of the paper. What other steps can I take?

    Hi there, Here are the steps for your issues: 1) Close down the scanner lid2) Power down the printer3) With the scanner lid still close, power up your unit4) Feed a paper through the feeder and do a copy job5) Place the printed page on your feeder glass, check on the location of the vertical line with respect to your feeder glass. Check if there is any stain or dust on that area, and use a cloth to wipe it off. Using a torch light would help you in finding the stain/ dust.6) Perform another copy via the feeder. Let me know if this helps

  • HP LaserJet 4200 -- manual feed tray not working after 10.6 install

    Hi all...
    One of my users pointed this out to me. I'm looking for confirmation (or a solution)?
    We have an HP LaserJet 4200 printer added to our mac clients as an IP printer. Under 10.5.8, printing to "Tray 1 (Manual)" goes where you think it would -- to the manual feed tray.
    Upgrading to 10.6.1? Manual print jobs are going to the internal "Tray 3".
    It's the same behavior if I use the 10.6.1 "5.3.0" printer driver or the HP Printer Update 2.1 updated "5.4.0" version.
    Can anybody else confirm/deny the problem with their 4200 printer under 10.6? If you can confirm it, do you know of a fix (short of rolling back to 10.5.8).
    A remove and readd of the printer did not help here. Unfortunately.
    Thanks!
    - Steve

    Resolved this two ways:
    1) the "gutenprint" driver worked.
    2) The larger problem was the manual tray had been set to "A4" size.
    I used the web admin interface to set this to "any size" and "any" type and that fixed the problem with the 5.4.0 "LaserJet 4200 Series" default printer driver...
    Luckily, somebody else on campus had one of these printers and we were able to compare the printer setting differences to figure this out.
    I hope this helps somebody!

  • How do I convert a shockwave object file into a mp4 or avi video?

    How do I convert a shockwave object file into a mp4 or avi video?  Do you know of any software that converts that type of file?

    The M4V format is a video file format developed by Apple and is very close to the MP4 format. The differences are the optional Apple's DRM copyright protection, and the treatment of AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio which is not standardized for the MP4 container.
    If your M4V video is not unprotected M4V files and without AC3 audio. It may be recognized and played by other video players by changing the file extension from ".m4v" to "mp4".
    So you can try to change the file extension and check if it works. If it doesn't work, try Leawo video converter(for windows or mac) and convert m4v to mp4 format.

  • Instantiate com.waveset.object.Type into Type[]

    I am trying to instantiate com.waveset.object.Type into Type[]. I am trying execute method exportObjects(Type[] types, java.lang.String filename, BulkMonitor monitor). I can write it in java doing something like _wsSess.exportObjects(new Type[]{Type.findType(type)}, out, null); but having trouble doing in xpress or javascript. Please help. Thanks.

    Hi,
    To get all the types, you can use:
    <invoke name='getTypes' class='com.waveset.object.Type'/>
    to get specific ones:
    <block>
    <set name='typeList'>
    <list>
    <invoke name='getType' class='com.waveset.object.Type'>
    <s>Resource</s>

  • How to replace Document Feeder Tray on ImageClass D480

    Part of my document feeder tray on my ImageClass D480 snapped off. I need to replace it. So, I ordered the part for less than 20 from Canon. However, I noticed just now there's no simple way to unattach or reattach it. I called Canon tech support and they said they "DON'T" provide any service guide or sheets to help consumers. Rep said the sales clerk should've told me that. She didn't though. Tech support said I should bring part and printer to local service place, which I won't because it won't be free and will be outrageously priced to just attach outer part. Does anyone know how I can do this myself or where I can download service manual? It's crazy! You can buy a new one for $150. They'll charge me at least $75 to look at it. I appreciate anyone's help.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Lori,
    Thanks so much for replying.  I tried to follow your advice but I might not have followed your steps exactly?  I went to Custom Scan, clicked on Options, selected Show Scanner's Native Interface, cliked OK, and then this is a screenshot of what I'm seeing (nothing that allows me to select feeder tray).  Are you sure it can be done?  Thanks!  Andy

  • Plugged in a CD player into rear line in got no sound?

    For the first time I plugged in a good working external CD player into rear line in jack via stereo mini plugs. I got no sound trying every possible setting in sound input output panel preferences as well as in the audio-midi set-up! (Nehalem 2 quadcore) The signal is getting in as seen in the input level in the sound panel. Not a sound to be heard at any setting. Please help.

    Thank you Malcolm!
    (Also to get me of the high horse that the great Mac Pro that Apple build has and does everything)
    I am surprized that one even has to rely on a third party application to get audio in and out of a $3000,- computer. I am sure it would be a minor thing for Apple to let Quicktime take care of this grave negglect. How can you have a digital life not being able to easily connect the 5 audio ins and outs!
    One last question please. You said "the simplest" which is fine for what I want do do right now but is there "more sofisticated" for future problems? Thank you for your time and patience.

  • Objects turn into orange shapes when working in 3D...

    Almost every time I start working with obects in a 3D project, at some point while moving the camera in 3D space, the objects turn into bright orange "shapes", and I have to quit and restart Motion. Anyone else having this strange problem?

    No, I don't have two displays, just one 23" apple cinema display. The problem has gotten worse since my last post....I can't make any more than a few adjustments in 3D space, especially moving lights around, without all the objects turning orange and having to close and reopen the project. I notice that when moving a light, the light hitting the object "strobes" and turns into"pixellated lines" a few times, and then objects turns orange. It's getting very frustrating...that along with the text "pan tool" bug, I'm having to close and reopen Motion close to 40 times a day.
