An odd capture MESSAGE

Hey guys I'm back.
Why am I getting this window coming up after I CAPTURE NOW.
'THE AUDIO SAMPLE RATE OF ONE OR MORE OF YOUR CAPTURED MEDIA
FILES DOES NOT MATCH THE SAMPLE RATE ON YOUR SOURCE TAPE. THIS MAY
CAUSE VIDEO AND AUDIO OF THESE MEDIA FILES TO BE OUT OF SYNC.
MAKE SURE THE AUDIO SAMPLE RATE OF YOUR CAPTURE PRESET MATCHES
THE SAMPLE RATE OF YOUR TAPE"
This has never come up in the past. I haven't messed with any settings.
I'm capturing standard 29.97 stuff and putting it on a timeline
preset with the same preferences. Or aren't I?
Any solutions??

Dee, I've gotten that message when I've recaptured files from an old project started in version 3. But they were fine. I don't know what the answer is, but if you scroll over in the browser and the sample rate say 48K and the clips stay in sync, I don't think you have too much to worry about.

Ipod not recognized, getting odd error message

I've seen this posted a few times, but without any hints as to how to fix the problem.
I have a 4G 20GB iPod, just over a year old (meaning, no warranty), that has worked fine until this morning. I turned it on, and all of a sudden, it kept skipping through all of my songs, and wouldn't respond to the pause, play, etc. buttons.
I attached it to my computer via FireWire, and I keep getting this odd error message: "You have inserted a device that has no volumes that OSX can recognize" It asks me if I want to ignore, initialize, or eject the disc. I've been having it ignore it, or eject it (staying far away from initialization). After I ejected it, I noticed that all the songs on my iPod are now missing.
I reset the iPod, which didn't do much, and now I can't restore it, because neither the computer or iTunes recognizes my iPod. It shows up in Disk Utility, but I'm not entirely sure how to proceed.
What happened to my iPod? I can't seem to find anything in the Apple support pages that seems similar to my situation. Any suggestions on how to get the thing to work again?
Edit: I am using iTunes version 4.9; I have not updated to 5.0

This is the most frustrating tech trouble!
The same thing has happened to my iPod. It worked fine, then one day I plug it in and it says "Disc inserted is unreadable by this computer". As far as I remember, I didnt' update anything, make any changes, or adjust any settings to any of my hardware. SO WHAT HAPPENED?? And now I can't restore or doctor the iPod hardware bc my computer won't recognize it as actual hardware...
pleeeeease help, if anyone has a way to fix this.
The weirdest part, is that when I look at the information of the "unreadable hardware" it describes it with all the information, like how many gigs are available, how much space is used up, latest updates etc. So it can transfer information, but it pretends its unreadable? i dont understand.

Odd error message - Can't save new Pages docs

I use Pages a lot and know it pretty well. But today I got an odd error message I have never seen. It is stopping me from using Pages.
Today, when I attempted to create a new Pages document and save it to a folder in my Documents folder (or to my Desktop), I get an instant error message saying, "The file ‘FileName.pages' doesn’t exist." (see below). In effect, Pages will not allow me to save a new file. I can open older Pages files, edit them and save them. I just cannot create a new file and save it. I have restarted Pages and my computer multiple times with no effect on this message.
Anyone dealt with this before?

There you are, Pages 5 can be relied on to not be relied on.
Not much comfort for your previous file though.

Odd error message when attempting installation of iTunes 8

When I try to install the iTunes 8 (the most recent version), I get an odd error message and am unable to successfully complete the installation. This is the message:
Could not access network location
%USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
This message is then followed by Retry or Cancel; Retry has not worked at all with the same error message popping up. There is no error number that I can see. After I finally hit cancel out of frustration, this message shows up:
The installation of QuickTime did not complete successfully. iTunes requires QuickTime.
I think that the first message occurs during the program's attempt to do QuickTime before the iTunes. I tried downloading and upgrading QuickTime separately, but that was also unsuccessful. I do now have an earlier version of QuickTime on my computer, but that is only because I recently added some software (Rosetta Stone to be exact) that requires the 5.0 version and downloads it automatically. I also have tried the troubleshooting tips on the Apple site.
My computer is a Dell, with Windows XP Home Edition. I do have the second Service Pack from Microsoft, and should have all of the latest updates. Please help! I'm getting really frustrated with my computer and have no idea on what to do next.

When you get a message about not being able to access a network location you usually need the Microsoft installer cleanup utility.
Here is a method:
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)

Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program. The installer doesn't give any message to confirm the installation.

Now use the following method to remove iTunes and its components:

*If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry*, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
When you get to deleting Quicktime files in the system32 folder as advised in the method, you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart your PC.
Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up)
Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
If you don’t see an entry for one of the programs that did not uninstall, look out for blank entries or numeric entries that look like version numbers e.g. 7.x for Quicktime or 1.x for Bonjour.
restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
If it does, install iTunes.

Odd error message

I am getting an odd error message with iTunes:
+The iTunes library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.+
Any ideas why I am getting this message. My iPod never had problems before, and I am the only one who uses the computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too have seen this error message now and again. (Right now as a matter of fact).
Doesn't appear to have any adverse affects on my music library but with over 8,000 songs I may never notice the problems.

Recieving an odd error message...

For the past few days, i have been running into an odd error message whenever i try to update my iPod through iTunes.
The message is "Attempting to copy to disk "Harout's(my name) IP failed. The disk could not be read from or written too."
This always happens during the update for my iPod. It gets to about 10% updated then pulls this message out. I've tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it, with the newest version, got the newest iPod updater, and even restored my iPod and tried it again and nothing has helped.
Do you guys have any idea on what i can do?

Capturing messages in session method

Hi All,
I am executing session using the program name rsbdcsub after executing the session mehtod I wanted to capture the messages at runtime.
Can anyone tell me how can I capture the messages at runtime.

N95 - odd error message

I have an N95 with Ver 20.0.015, and in the last day or so I have been getting an odd error message on start up - can someone suggest what is going on?
Very soon after turning on, the system says Installing... and then a message come up saying 'Untrusted software found on memory. To install, go to Application Manager'
I have looked at Appl Mgr, and there is an entry 'e14a45b8.sis' that says Not Installed, which is, I suspect, the guilty party.
Is this likely to be the problem, and does anyone know why I should not Remove this?

v20.0.015 seems more intolerant of older applications than previous versions. In my case there was an eight numeral .sis on my memory card which was "Not installed" and produced this message at every start-up. Fortunately 'Googling" established that this was early Nokia "Podcasting" application which as it is now part of the firmware, could safely be deleted; now I no longer get this message on start-up. In Application Manager if you click on this application > options, you should be able to get more information about it's identity.

Unable to capture messages from java.util.logging

I have a class called (Caller.java) which invokes a method called foo from another java class(Util.java) using reflection API.Now this method foo logs messages using Java's logger.My requirement is to call foo for 3 times from Caller and capture/redirect the log messages into 3 log files.
But only the first log file is capturing the log messages(from logger) and other two are not ?
Plz suggest if I am doing somethin wrong here ?

Unable to capture message from BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CHANGE in production

Hi,
I have written code for uploading PIRu2019s as per demand planner in SAP R/3.
For this i have used BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE and BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CHANGE.
As the command COMMIT WORK is entered within the BAPI, i have not used TRANSACTION_COMMIT bapi.
It was tested in Development server & working fine in Production server.
But recently (after 2 months), messages captured from return table of BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CHANGE, is not coming.
If any one has faced similar problem, they can guide me to resolve this issue.

To capture messages after CALL Transactiom

Hi all,
I am doing call transaction for IM32,CJ30 and IM52.But iam unable to capture the messages.
when we enter a wrong budget values then it throws a error message saying 'Errors found-> see error log'(The same is present in BDCMSGCOLL). But we need the errors present in the error log not the error which mentioned above.
So is there any possible way to catch those errors. Please help as early as possible.

Capture Message ID for (IDOC-XI-HTTP)

Hi! Thanks to some kind help last week, I can capture the message ID in my mapping via the following:

However, my scenario is IDOC->XI Multimap->File(s). In the case that the IDOCs are mapped into multiple files, each file has a unique reference associated with it. I can see these in the HopList as follows:

Does anyone know how I can capture this reference in the mapping?

Message ID can be captured while going in to
IDX5 Trancation Code , where you give the Date and time when the IDOC is pushed...then you will get the squence of your data flow and in that you have a coloume header with the name MESSAGE ID...If you click that one you will have XML Message...

Capture message ID / IDOC numbers (IDOC-XI-HTTP)

Hi! I am running a IDOC-XI-HTTP scenario and am trying to figure out a way to capture the XI message ID and the IDOC number to which it is linked and send this to back to the source system such that the user can see the data. This is needed to support easy follow up on issues.
Does anyone have experience on how to grab this kind of data at runtime? I know I can output the message as a file to the filesystem but this is not an option.
Any bright ideas would be much appreciated!

Really really helpful. Can grab the message ID now. However, I am still not my end point. Basically, my scenario is as follows:
Source SAP --> IDOC --> XI --> Map --> XML --> External Party
I don't want to the put the message ID in the message to the External Party but rather write it back - probably via RFC - to it source SAP system. Net, dusire scenario is as follows:
Source SAP --> IDOC --> XI --> Map --> XML --> External Party
+ Message ID --> Source SAP
Any ideas? Will award points for your previous reply as that already helped a whole lot.

Capture message after SUBMIT report

I have called submit report like below in RFC function module .
submit rfitemap
              with kd_lifnr in r_it_lifnr
              with x_apar   eq abap_true
              with x_merk   eq abap_true
              with x_norm   eq abap_true

              with x_park   eq abap_true
              with x_shbv   eq abap_true
              exporting list to memory and return.
how to capture or skip error or information populated by submit program ?
As the function module is a RFC function module, the FM is called from some SMDL program . Once the program executes submit statement
is giving system failure exception and giving message like 'No connection with development system'.
Instead of giving messages populated in return table ,the SMDL program returns "NO connection" message.
How to display the message from return table ?

You can try like mentioned in the below thread with JOB OPEN, submit your program, JOB CLOSE and read the job log to get the messages raised during the submit program.
