Hi
Always when I try to convert a video in iTunes for the iPod I get the following message:
Error occurred while converting file
"...". An unknown error occurred (-54).
Does anybody know, what this error is and what I am doing wrong?
I am running the latest iTunes, and Mac OS updates, with Quicktime Pro.

I have been trying for months to put iTunes on my laptop and kept getting installation errors in Windows 7. I gave up and just installed iTunes on my PC running XP.
Now I have to install Quicktime on the laptop and once again I get an installation error 0x800736FD.

I have removed all apple software from my laptop using CCleaner, common files and folders. Tried reinstalling and still the same error.

Apple is requiring the establishment of 3 security question (increase online security), but coninuously gives an error without identifying the error. I am not allow to proceed or bypass and cannot use any apple store features.

I was halfway updating my phone to iOs7 when it froze halfway through where it shows the apple symbol. So I turned it off and now it says that I have to connect to iTunes. So I did and it said it was in the recovery mode and should be restored. I restored it and then it come up with a message that says "iPhone cannot be restored. More than likely a hardware issue. You will need to take your phone into Apple.

One of the following steps should help.
Go step by step and test.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button
Install Adobe Flash Player.

2. Enable Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security

When I try to look at properties of an existing Private Cloud, I get this error, only if I "look" at certain attributes. If I stay away from the specific attributes, everything is hunky dory. For reasons unknown, after I get this error, I have
to exit and go back into VMM in order to get anything else to run.
The text in the error dialogue box is not entirely applicable because I was connected to the VMM server and will connect again, when I exit/relaunch.

'Error occured while converting the file--unknown error occured 0x77686174
I just got my first iPod but I'm a little frustrated. I put in a cd, iTunes opens and asks me if I want to import the songs, I reply yes. When it tries the very first song of the cd, it immediately comes up with 'Error occured while converting the file "name of song". An unknown error occured (0x77686174).' It doesn't matter if this is a completely new cd or an older one.
I ran CD diagnostics on iTunes and my results are below. I have posted this several times on many different boards and haven't found any solutions or been given any solutions from anyone. I have an iPod that I can't use because I can't download any songs...does anyone have any idea what to do?
I've looked at Dell to update drivers for my cd drive but it says that I have the newest drivers...the computer isn't even a year old yet. What do I do?? I've wiped the cd like several posts say to do, I've clicked the fix error option on cd off and on like several posts have said to do, I've changed the conversion of 128 to 64 like several posts have said to do...help please, anyone?

BobbyError 3194, AKA "This device is not eligible.. occurs for several reasons:
1. Update to the latest iTunes - currently 10.4.1.
2. Disable ALL security apps (firewall, antivirus/spyware) running on your computer. Additional measures may be needed.
3. You may need to edit the Hosts file on your computer to remove references to gs.apple.com if you EVER used hacking techniqus or apps such as tinyumbrella.
4. Don't try to downgrade the iOS.
5. If the phone was EVER successfully hacked in the past (jailbreak, downgrade, unauthourized unlock) there may be nothing you can do now to fix this.
"This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an error 3194. If you receive this error, update to the latest version of iTunes. 3rd party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue, to resolve please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. I am not able to run Report in Report viewer due to the below error:
