  • Two beeps when an incoming call gets connected

Since a couple of weeks ago I started hearing 2 beeps when an incoming call gets connected.
I can only hear these 2 beeps when I use my headset (original iphone headset) to answer the call. I hear these 2 sounds right after I answer the call and then I can hear the person on the other side of the line.
This does not happen for outgoing calls. The person on the other side of the line can't hear the beeps. I tried this in another iPhone and I couldn't hear the beeps either.
    Does anybody knows why?
Please, serious answers (I'm tired of listening about the bighbrother thing)

    Hi there,
Did you ever figure out what those beeps are?  I'm hearing them too.
    Thanks!

  • ISDN E1 PRI incoming calls busy out after 2nd b channel picks up

I have an ISDN E1 PRI line coming in from the Telco. D Channel comes up nicely and B channels accept calls, but only the first two calls. Once two callers are online, any further incoming calls get a busy tone. ISDN Debug data reports:
**ERROR**: call_incoming: Remote Protocol Error: No b channel assigned by switch, call id 0xCE
    Hardware I'm using? Cisco 2650, 12.3(7T) and NM-HDV, VWIC-2MFT-E1-DI
    Anybody please help?

Problem sorted - believe it or not, it was the telco. They changed their switch setting for the line to preferrable B channel - and voila!
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • My iphone 4s is no longer making sound when i have an incoming call or message after installing ios7.... any help?

My iphone 4s is no longer making sound when i have an incoming call or message after installing ios7.... any help?
It still vibrates but no calling sounds or message sounds. It's not on mute and the speakers are working... I can hear music etc.
Oh yeah no keypad noises either.

Same thing has happened to me. I have tried every trick that's been posted here. I just ran out of options. Galaxy phone is starting to look better by the minute.

  • Call gets disconnected after playing the menu from CVP

    Hello,

The problem i am facing is that once the menu audio is played the call gets disconnected.  It doesnt let me choose any options. I feel it is not able to identify the my inputs
    I have some debug outputs

  • IPhone 4 Can't receive incoming calls and sms after 3G has been activated

I can't receive incoming calls and sms on my iPhone 4 after the 3G connection has been activated and used actively by me. Outgoing calls and messages do work and as long as I use the Wi-Fi connection everything's fine but the problem appears after switching to 3G. Any help? Thx in advance!

I think the next step is to do a reset by holding the sleep and home buttons down at the same time until the Apple logo appears.  If you haven't done this before, keep holding the buttons when the turn off slider appears.  The screen will go black and after what seems like an eternity, actually several seconds, the Apple logo will appear.  When the logo appears, release the buttons.

  • Linksys SPA3102, busy line on incoming calls

    Hi there,
I'm trying to set this device up in this specific scenario:
    - PSTN: 1st incoming call, the user gets it.
    - PSTN: 2nd incoming call, but the 1st call is still ongoing.
Actual result: 2nd incoming call obtains ring tones, and he/she thinks there is nobody home
Desired result: 2nd incoming call obtains busy line tone, and he/she thinks there is somebody home and is busy
Is this device able to do this?, any tip about which configuration parameter should I change?
    Many thanks, Ibon.

    Sorry, wrong forum

  • Can't reset incoming call during conversation after upgrade to IOS 5

Right after migration to IOS 5 I discovered that it's impossible to drop incoming call during conversation. I mean when you pressed power button twice in IOS 4 call must be transferred to voice mail or resetted. It was fine before migration to 5th version pf OS. I tried to reset my phone to manufacture settings but result was the same.
Does anyone met the same with new IOS?

Weird, I can't edit my messages here...
It doesn't matter once or twice the button was pressed - both calls are resetted.

  • Incoming calls get stripped of leading zeros and I don't know why...

    Hi,
our UC560 setup is now running for quite some time. But there is still this one issue that is bugging for some time now.
We have two ISDN DID trunks for Incoming / Outgoing calls.
After my very basic setup I noticed that all caller IDs get their leading zero stripped. In Germany we use the "0" as first digit of the area-code and "00" as the international code.
I thought a quick fix would be to just add a Call-Back Rule within CCA to add a leading 0. This works for national calls as the transmitted caller-id always includes the area-code even for local calls.
However If I receive an international call (what happens quite often recently) I'm not getting the expected "00" in front of the number but also only a single "0".
I took a look at all translation-rules that are configured, but I couldn't find any rule that just deletes all leading zeros from the incoming number :( What's happening there?

  • 8110 - can't get connected after 507

    PROBLEM SOLVED !
I wanted to make an os update to my 8110 Pearl (not linked to an enterprise server). While uploading the application (or process) died. Now the 8110 shows a 507 error code.
To upload a new os via BB Desktop Manager failed, because DM cant't connect to the device.
    a) If it's due to a missmachting password: I've tried more than 10 times, but nothing happend (my data fortunately all backuped)
    b) It's a matter of connection?
    Many thx for any help!

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
Sorry to hear that happened, but I think this procedure will work for you: DFISHER'S JAL_CMDER:
    http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_wipe_the_BlackBerry_using_Jl_Cmder%3F
Follow the procedure, it may take 1-15 tries to get the device recognized, If it doesn't recognize the BB,
There is a backup procedure to follow.

  • Lync Calls to PSTN gets disonnected after few rings if user is outside the organisation.

We are able to call from Lync  client to PSTN if user is inside office.
From outside office, it rings and the disconnects.

    Hi,
Did you receive any error message from the Event Viewer of FE server and Mediation server?
Check if you received Event ID 11.
If yes, as the initiate a call to PSTN network requires Edge Server and Lync Pool to establish a connection, you should double check port configuration between Edge Server and FE server, Mediation server and FE server.

  • Fast busy signal with incoming calls and unable to connect to voice mail

We are using CISCO 2821. The system started to have problem connecting to voice mailbox (when dialing internally to the VM extension) and it used to take a reboot to bring it back. Now it will not connect to voice mail (gets fast busy signal), plus incoming calls get a fast busy signal after the first ring tone. To make it worse, the Call Manager Express web page does not load. Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem? Thanks!

Called ATT...they verified the problem and said it was an intermittent signal problem....
only issue is I have to keep the phone off to make sure I received voicemails....
Definitely NOT an iPhone problem, but an ATT problem.

  • Analog line call Issue

    Hello All,
When I call from analog line to PSTN, call is going out normally.
But after IVR telling me to dial extension number I can't dial.

Are you sure the phone upgraded the firmware to 9.4(1)?
Here's the 200 OK to the phone when the call is answered by IVR.

  • Delay in softphone incoming calls

    Hi All,
Softphone users are unable to hear the other party for few seconds. We are having this issue for incoming calls.
If anybody came across this issue, please let us know your suggestion
    Thanks in advance !

    Thanks
let me explain the issue with more info.
    Scenario:
When a CIPC receives an incoming call, let say I am calling from cell phone to CIPC user, when the call get connect, for the first 4 to 5 seconds CIPC user can not hear anything, but I can hear them clearly, so there was a one way audio/delay for the first 5 seconds, after this both party able to hear. It is not occurring on all calls.
We able to duplicate this on a inbound call only, not sure whether its happening on outbound too.
Tried with Both CIPC 7.0 and 8.6, also it happens regardless how the CIPC is connected i.e., local LAN or VPN.
